Penderita osteoporosis yang terdapat di Indonesia telah mencapai 19,7% dan berada di urutan terbesar setelah Cina. Pengetahuan mengenai osteoporosis sangat diperlukan karena osteoporosis dapat menyerang berbagai usia. Seseorang yang memiliki pengetahuan mengenai osteoporosis akan mempengaruhi bentuk pencegahan yang dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan dengan upaya pencegahan osteoporosis di Dusun Malahayati Gampong Peuniti Kecamatan Baiturrahman Banda Aceh tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif; deskriptif korelatif dengan desain cross sectional study. Jumlah populasi 229 orang, pengambilan sampel dengan metode accidental sampling pada 70 orang responden. Tehnik pengumpulan data dengan metode wawancara terpimpin dengan menggunakan kuesioner berupa 40 pernyataan dalam bentuk dikotomi dan skala likert. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Uji hipotesis, p-value > ? (0,05) maka Ho diterima, dan p-value ? ? (0,05) maka Ho ditolak. Hasil penelitian: ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan upaya pencegahan osteoporosis di Dusun Malahayati Gampong Peuniti Kecamatan Baiturrahman Banda Aceh tahun 2013 dengan (p-value 0,000), upaya mengkonsumsi kalsium (p-value 0,004), upaya mengkonsumsi vitamin D (p-value 0,004), olahraga (p-value 0,032), kebiasaan hidup (p-value 0,003) dan konsultasi pada petugas kesehatan (p-value 0,017). Kegiatan pengolahan hasil perikanan yang telah berjalan dikota Subulussalam adalah pengolahan ikan dengan metode pengasapan. Jumlah home industry pengolahan hasil perikanan khususnya pengasapan mencapai 15 usaha yang tersebar disetiap kecamatan kota Subulussalam.Kecamatan Simpang Kiri merupakan salah satu kecamatan penghasil ikan lele asapan terbanyak dengan lima tempat usaha pengolahan, yang tersebar di desa Suka Makmur, Subulussalam Utara, dan Subulussalam Selatan. Home Industry ikan lele asap ini sudah berkembang sejak tiga tahun terakhir. Masing-masing industri memproduksikan ikan lele asap untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi masyarakat. Permintaan ikan lele asap setiap tahun mengalami peningkatan. Tahun 2010 permintaan terhadap ikan lele asap sebesar 1,8 ton dan pada tahun 2011 meningkat menjadi 2,4 ton. Hal ini terjadi karena seiring bertambahnya jumlah penduduk dan meningkatnya selera masyarakat terhadap ikan lele asap. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Simpang Kiri Kota Subulussalam. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara sengaja (purposive sampling), dengan pertimbangan kecamatan tersebut merupakan kecamatan yang memiliki usaha pengolahan ikan lele asap paling banyak dan jumlah produksi ikan lele asap yang besar. Objek penelitian ini adalah pengusaha atau pengrajin ikan asap. Ruang lingkup dari penelitian ini terbatas pada studi kelayakan aspek finansial Home Industry ikan lele asap. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sensus.Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis financial.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha pengolahan ikan lele asap di Kecamatan Simpang Kiri Kota Subulussalam layak untuk dijalankan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh nilai NPV > 0, yaitu Rp.43.161.682,- yang berarti peneriman yang diterima lebih besar dari biaya yang dikeluarkan. Hasil analisis sensitivitas menunjukkan bahwa kondisi usaha masih layak dijalankan baik dari segi financial. Diharapkan usaha ikan lele asap kedepannya mampu meningkatkan produksi serta memperluas pasar produk. Diharapkan usaha ikan lele asap mampu menjaga kualitas dan kuantitas produk dengan memilih bahan baku yang segar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan pengaruh naungan dan varietas terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman stroberi pada dataran rendah serta interaksi kedua faktor tersebut.  Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terpisah pola RAK. Faktor naungan sebagai petak utama terdiri dari:  tidak ternaungi (100% cahaya), 1 lapisan naungan  (70% cahaya) dan dua lapisan naungan (40% cahaya) dan varietas stroberi sebagai anak petak terdiri dari: Michiko, Earlibrite dan Tristar. Ada interaksi yang nyata antara naungan dan varietas terhadap jumlah daun pada 75 HST dan tinggi tanaman pada 15 HST. Varietas Earlibrite yang tidak dinaungi atau dinaungi dua lapis, dapat meningkatkan jumlah daun pada 75 HST. Varietas Michiko yang tidak dinaungi dapat meningkatkan tinggi tanaman.The Effects of Shading and Varieties on Growth and Yield of Strawberry (Fragaria Sp.) in LowlandABSTRACT. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of shading and varieties on growth and yield of strawberry plants in the lowlands and the interaction between these factors. The research was conducted using a Split Plot Design. Factors studied are shading as the main plots consisting of no-shading (100% sunlight), one layer of shading (70% sunlight) and two layers of shading (40% sunlight) and strawberry varieties as subplot consisting of Michiko, Earlibrite and Tristar. Observed variable is the increase in the number of plant height and leaf, number of flowers, number of fruits, fruit weight and diameter of fruit per plant. The results showed the best growth and yield of strawberry plants tend to be found on treatment no-shading. The best varieties tend to be found in varieties Michiko. There is a significant interaction between shading and varieties in the number of leaf age 75 HST and in plant height age 15 HST. The best interaction of the number of leaf in the age of 75 HST was Earlibrite varieties with the no-shading and two layers of shading, as well as to varieties Michiko and Tristar with one layer shading. In plant height age of 15 HST, the best combination of interactions found in varieties Michiko with no-shading. Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa persepsi keluarga tentang peran perawat pelaksana di Instalasi Gawat Darurat Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. The research design was descriptive correlative by using cross sectional study approach with 64 samples which applied non probability sampling. Data collection was conducted between 15th December 2013 and 6th January 2014 by distributing questionnaire consisting of 20 statements in Likert scale and data was analysed descriptively. The general result was concluded that family perception about the role of nurse in resuscitation of emergency unit in dr. Jambi soybean is one the soybean production centers of tidal swamp areas. This trial was aimed at evaluating of several soybean promising lines and selecting the most adaptable to tidal swamp growing areas in Jambi Province. There were 12 promising lines and 4 control varieties tested were G100H/SHR-60-38, SHR60/G100H-70, SHR60/G100H-75, G100H/TGM-D-1-3,G100H/TGM-D-1-16, MYP/G100H-D-2, and MYP/G100H-D-6. The control varieties were Wilis, Kaba, Anjasmoro, and Tanggamus. The trial was located at farmer’s field at Desa Bandar Jaya, Kecamatan Rantau Rasau, Tanjung Jabung Timur District, Jambi Province frol April to September 2008. The crop was grown at standard cultural practices for soybean with planting distance 40 by 15 cm and two seed per hole. Variables collect were germination rate, days to flower, plant height, days to maturity, number of productive branches, percentage of fertile seeds, one hundred seed weight, yield, pest, and disease infection. Result showed that all of tested lines and varieties had fairly good adaptation at tidal swamp growing areas. There were two lines which gave yield above 2 t/ha, namely G100H/SHR-60-38 (2.10 ton ha-1) and G100H/SHR60-34 (2.04 ton ha-1). Yield of these line is comparable to yield of control variety Tanggamus (2.07 ton ha-1). The two lines have better agronomic traits of compared to Tanggamus, namely bigger seeds and mature earlier. Faktor risiko yang berpengaruh antara lain gaya hidup seperti kebiasaan merokok, mengkonsumsi alkohol, diet makanan, dan olahraga sehingga dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan dan mengurangi massa tulang pada lanjut usia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor risiko osteoporosis ditinjau dari gaya hidup lanjut usia di Desa Limpok Kecamatan Darussalam Aceh Besar. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif eksporatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Adapun tehnik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah total sampling, dengan 30 orang responden. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan tehnik wawancara terpimpin. Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebagai berikut: faktor risiko osteoporosis ditinjau dari gaya hidup merokok berada pada kategori tidak berisiko (56,7%), konsumsi alkohol berada pada kategori tidak berisiko (63,3%), diet makanan berada pada kategori berisiko (60,7%), olahraga berada pada kategori berisiko (56,7%). Interaction between mycorrhizal inoculan dosage with level of shade was significantly affected of seedling growth of height, total dry weight matter, soot root ratio, P content, and degree of infected root by mycorrhizal. The usage of mycorrizal inoculants dosage at 10 g per seedling which combined with level of shade 75% gave the best for seedling growth of teak for siz moth old. Increasing level of shade 25% to 75% increased seedling growth of teak. Furthermore, seedling of teak that treated mycorrzal inoculants dosage at 100 g per seedling was more significantly affected of seedling growth than 5 g per seedling. Lansia paling sering mengalami gangguan aktivitas karena tidak mampu bergerak secara normal dan akibatnya lansia tersebut sangat rentan terhada stres. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan aktivitas dengan stres pada lansia di Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Rumoh Seujahtera Genaseh Sayang Ulee Kareng Banda Aceh Tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelatif, desain penelitian cross sectional study, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 60 orang lansia yang berada di Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Rumoh Seujahtera Genaseh Sayang Ulee Kareng Banda Aceh Tahun 2013. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner dalam bentuk skala likert yang terdiri dari 21 item pernyataan untuk stres dan 16 item pernyataan untuk aktivitas. Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji statistik continuity correction. Hasil analisa didapatkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara aktivitas dengan stres fisik pada lansia (p-value = 0,002), terdapat hubungan antara stres dengan stres fisiologis pada lansia (p-value = 0,001) dan terdapat hubungan antara aktivitas dengan stres psikologis pada lansia (p-value = 0,002). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara aktivitas dengan stres pada lansia (p- value = 0,002) di Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Rumoh Seujahtera Genaseh Sayang Ulee Kareng Banda Aceh. Diharapkan bagi pihak UPTD Rumoh Seujahtera Genaseh Sayang Ulee Kareng Banda Aceh agar dapat meningkatkan pelayanan baik melalui pendidikan, pelatihan, pengalaman dan sumber informasi. Untuk memberikan pelayanan yang lebih optimal kepada lansia agar bisa mengurangi tingkat stres dan pola aktivitas yang lebih baik bagi para lansia.
