Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 6 (enam) bulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik penarikan contoh sistem Jalur. Peubah yang diamati adalah kantong karbon tersimpan pada tanaman atas, tumbuhan bawah, akar, nekromasa berupa serasah dan kayu mati serta total karbon tanah. Analisa spasial menggunakan software ArcGIS 9.1 dan analisa sampel dilakukan di laboratorium tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala dengan menggunakan metode pengabuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diduga jumlah cadangan karbon taman hutan raya Pocut Meurah Intan sebesar 657,296.6 ton, yang berasal dari vegetasi hutan primer 469,576.4 ton, Kebun Campuran 97,890.0 ton, hutan pinus 71,289.4 ton, semak belukar 14,811.2 ton dan kebun pisang 3,729.6 ton. Pengaruh suhu merupakan hal yang penting dalam mengamati hasil interaksi serangga inang dengan parasitoid, terutama dalam menentukan tingkat keberhasilan perkembangan parasotoid tersebut. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh perubahan suhu terhadap interaksi inang dan parasitoid, telah dilakukan penelitian di laboratorium terhadap parasitoid Venturia canescens (Gravenhorst) (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) dan inangnya, Plodia interpunctella (Hubner) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae). Gradien suhu 28-240C; 28-260C;  dan 28-280C digunakan dalam suatu sistem terdiri dari instar V P. interpunctella yang telah diparasit oleh V. canescens. Penggunaan gradient suhu yang berbeda dalam penelitian ini berarti perubahan suhu dari 280C, dimana serangga parasitoid dibiakkan sebelumnya ke suhu yang lebuih rendah, yaitu 24 dan 260C. Serangga inang yang digunakan dalam percobaan ini merupakan biakkan yang telah mapan pada suhu rendah tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa begaian inang yang terparasit berhasil menjadi imago parasitoid V. canescens. Gradien suhu yang berbeda tidak berpengaruh terhadap jumlah imago parasitoid yang muncul dan tingkat enkapsulasi. Waktu perkembangan yang dibutuhkan parasitoid meningkat secara signifikan dengan menurunnya gradient suhu. Dibutuhkan waktu 26,76 hari dan 22,96 hari bagi parasitoid untuk berkembang pada gradient suhu 28-240C dan 28-260C, dibandingkan hanya 21,20 hari pada suhu konstan 28-280C. Perubahan suhu dari 28 ke 240C, dan dari 28 ke 260C meningkatkan tubuh parasitoid sampai 1,54 dan 1,52 mm, dibandingkan dengan 1,47 mm pada suhu 28-280C. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa parasitoid V. canescens dapat berkembang dengan baik pada gradient suhu yang lebih rendah selama interaksi dengan inang P. interpunctella, mengikuti serangga inang yang terlebih dahulu sudah mapan pada suhu rendah yang sama. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor non excusable delays pada pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi di Kabupaten Aceh Jaya dan tindakan koreksi untuk meminimalisir faktor-faktor non excusable delays tersebut dimasa yang akan datang. Penelitian dilakukan pada proyek konstruksi yang dikerjakan tahun anggaran 2012. Metode penelitian dengan mengumpulkan data sekunder dan data primer. Pengumpulan data primer dengan mendesain dan mendistribusikan kuisioner kepada responden kelompok owner dan kontraktor. Pengolahan data dengan analisa reliabilitas, analisa frekuensi, analisa relative importance index dan analisa korelasi rank Spearman. Pendistribusian kuisioner kepada responden kelompok owner sebanyak 30 eksemplar, yang mengembalikan dan memberi pernyataan sebanyak 28 orang atau 93,33%. Kelompok kontraktor tingkat pengembalian 90 % atau 27 dari 30 responden yang memberikan pernyataan. Faktor-faktor utama non excusable delays yang berkontribusi terhadap waktu pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi di Kabupaten Aceh Jaya adalah pengiriman material terlambat; jumlah peralatan yang kurang; perencanaan dana proyek yang kurang baik; lambatnya penyediaan peralatan; metode kerja yang tidak tepat; perencanaan penjadwalan yang kurang baik; lambatnya penyediaan tenaga kerja; kurang produktifitas kerja; tidak tersedia material cukup; dan sistem pengadaan material yang tidak tepat; Tindakan koreksi untuk meminimalisisr faktor-faktor non excusable delays adalah perkiraan waktu yang akurat; membuat sistem mekanisme pengawasan; perkiraan biaya proyek yang akurat; penyediaan peralatan yang cukup dan memadai; serta metode konstruksi yang tepat; Dari hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan kontraktor agar meningkatkan kompetensi dan fungsi manajemen dalam pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi di Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menduga komposisi biji pada seed bank tanah dan mendeteksi kemampuan tumbuh pada beberapa celah antartajuk tegakan. Kemampuan biji yang tumbuh pada seed bank di lapangan hanya 49 % dari seluruh biji yang tumbuh.  Biji yang ada pada topsoil ( 0- 5 cm) mempunyai kemampuan tumbuh yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan biji yang berasal dari kedalaman yang lebih dalam. Jenis yang tumbuh didominasi oleh jenis tumbuhan eksotik, tumbuhan bawah dan jenis pohon pioneer, sedangkan jenis-jenis anakan pohon endemik sangat sedikit dan hampir tidak ditemukan tumbuh. Gaertn. on Some Density to Growth and Yield of SoybeanABSTRACT .The aim of research was known the effects of weed density of Synedrella nodiflora on growth and yield of soybean. The research was conducted in Experimental Farm Agriculture Faculty, University of Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh since March up to June 2011. The experimental design was Randomized Completely Design non factorial with five treatments of weed density. Weed density were: 0; 2; 4; 6; and 8 per polybag. Variables were: number of branches, diameter of stem, number of nodules, wet  weight of nodules, number of pod, number of seed, and seed weight per plant.
