Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh beberapa jenis pupuk dan mulsa serta interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil cabai merah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Lampuuk sejak Februari sampai Juli 2007. Mulsa sekam padi dapat meningkatkan jumlah buah per tanaman (200.85 buah) dan bobot buah tertinggi (380.33 g). Pertumbuhan dan hasil cabai merah terbaik adalah apabila diberikan mulsa sekam padi.The Effect of Some Fertilizers and Mulches on the Growth and Productivity of Chili (Capsicum annum)ABSTRACT. The aim of this research was to know the effect of some fertilizers and mulches to the growth and production as well as the interaction of both factors on the red chili. The experiment was done in Lampuuk village since February 2007 to June 2007. The first factor was 3 kinds of fertilizer (dung 20 t ha-1, NPK Phonska 600 kg ha-1 and the mix of urea 200 kg ha-1, SP36 150 kg ha-1, KCl 150 kg ha-1) and the second factor was 3 kinds of mulch ( Black Silver Plastic, rice straw, rice husks). The result shows that growth of chili was better on dung fertilizer. Rice husks mulch has significantly fruit number per plant (200.85) and the highest fruit weight (380.33 g). The growth and yield of chili best on rice husks mulch. Br)ABSTRACT. The study on application the different dosages of glyphosate and paraquat herbicides and their effect on the growth milky weed (Calotropis gigantean) has been conducted at Experimental station, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam, Banda Aceh. The treatment were arranged in a completely randomized bloc design (CRD) manner with two factors. The first factor was the dosages of herbicides which were 0 kg a.i/ha, 0,4 kg a.i/ha, 0,8 kg a.i/ha, and 1,2 kg a.i/ha. The second one was the different herbicides which were glyphosate and paraquat. The result showed that the dosages of the 0,8 kg a.i/ha significantly increased the percentage of milky weed control, suppressed the height of milky weed 21 days of application (DAA), reduced the diameter of milky weed stem and decreased the dry weight of milky weed. The type of the herbicides and different dosages used interactively affected the percentage of milky weed control and the diameter of milky weed stem on 21 days of application (DAA). The paraquat herbicide applied with dosage of 1,2 kg a.i/ha significantly increased the percentage of milky weed control and suppressed the diameter of milky weed stem. Hal ini menyebabkan anak usia sekolah kurang memperdulikan risiko cedera yang bisa didapatnya dari perilaku yang dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan upaya pencegahan dengan terjadinya cedera pada anak usia sekolah di SD Negeri 20 Banda Aceh 2013. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif korelatif dengan desain cross sectional study. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 134 anak usia sekolah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan di SD Negeri 20 Banda Aceh pada tanggal 24-25 Oktober 2013. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari 39 item pernyataan dalam skala likert. Metode analisis data dengan menggunakan uji statistik chi-square test, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya pencegahan cedera berada pada kategori rendah 60%. Terdapat hubungan upaya pencegahan kecelakaan bermotor dengan terjadinya cedera (p-value=0,002), terdapat hubungan upaya pencegahan tenggelam dengan terjadinya cedera (p-value=0,001), terdapat hubungan upaya pencegahan luka bakar dengan terjadinya cedera (p-value=0,03), terdapat hubungan upaya pencegahan keracunan dengan terjadinya cedera (p-value=0,003), terdapat hubungan upaya pencegahan kerusakan tubuh dengan terjadinya cedera (p-value 0,006), terdapat hubungan upaya pencegahan jatuh dengan terjadinya cedera (p-value 0,0001). This led to the school age care less risk of injury that can be gained from the performed behavior. The aim of the research is to known the relationship between injury prevention with injury in school age children in elementary school 20 Banda Aceh 2013. The research desain is correlative descriptive by using cross sectional study. The population in this research were 134 and the sampling technique is using the slovin formula method where the entire population sampled as many as 34 patients. Data collection conducted in elementary school 20 Banda Aceh on the date of 24-25 october 2013. Data collection conducted through guided interview by distributing questionnaires which consists of 39 statements in likert scale items. Data was analyze by using chi-square test, The result of the research indicates that injury prevention efforts are in the low category 60%. There is a correlation between motorcycle accident prevention with injury (p-value= 0,002), there is a correlation between drowning prevention with injury (p-value= 0,001), there is a correlation between prevention of burns with injury (p-value=0,03), there is a correlation between poisoning prevention efforts with injury (p-value=0,003), there is a correlation between efforts to prevent damage to the body with injury (p-value=0,006), there is a correlation between fall prevention with injury (p-value=0,000). Phosphor, a macro element, is often a problem especially in tropical regions not only because its content in soil but also its availability. This problem also occurred at tsunami-affected land. Both micorrhizae and organic matter able to improve soil quality, include by improving nutrient status of soil. The aim of this work were to examine the effect of AM fungi and organic matter on availability of soil P and N and P uptake of maize at the tsunami-affected land. This work was arranged in Factorial Randomized Block Design with three replication. The results were both AMF inoculation and organic matter affected the availability of soil P not significantly. The dry weight of upper crop and P uptake of maize were influenced by interaction of these treatments high significantly while the dry weight of root was affected significantly.
