Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengkaji daya dukung lingkungan untuk aktifitas wisata Pulau Liukang Loe. Adapun metode perhitungan daya dukung kawasan wisata bahari di Pulau Liukang Loe dilakukan secara matematis dengan rumus DDK= K x Lp/Lt x Wt/Wp.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan interpretasi citra satelit, diperoleh bahwa ada tiga aktivitas wisata bahari di Pulau Liukang Loe yakni wisata pantai kategori rekreasi, snorkling dan diving. Wisata pantai/rekreasi kategori sesuai dengan total panjang area yang dimanfaatkan sebesar 1411 m dapat menampung wisatawan sebesar 56 orang/hari, wisata snorkling sebesar 24,65 ha mampu menampung wisatawan sebesar 986 orang/hari dan wisata selam (diving) sebesar 14,73 ha mampu menampung wisatawan sebesar 589 orang/hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak bawang putih terhadap Aspergillus sp. secara in vitro. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang dibagi dalam 6 kelompok perlakuan yaitu 4 kelompok ekstrak bawang putih dan 2 kelompok kontrol. Masing-masing kelompok diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Uji daya hambat dilakukan menggunakan metode difusi cakram. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji ANOVA pada taraf 0,05 dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Duncan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak bawang putih dengan konsentrasi 5%, 10%, 20% dan 40% masing-masing mampu membentuk zona hambat dengan rata-rata sebesar 4 mm, 4,87 mm, 6 mm dan 10,75 mm. Hasil analisis data dengan uji ANOVA pada taraf 0,05 diperoleh adanya pengaruh nyata dari konsentrasi ekstrak bawang putih terhadap diameter zona hambat Aspergillus sp. Hasil analisis data melalui uji Beda Nyata Duncan diperoleh perbedaan nyata pada kelompok konsentrasi ekstrak bawang putih dengan kontrol positif dan kontrol negatif. penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ekstrak bawang putih dapat menghambat pertumbuhan Aspergillus sp. secara in vitro. Porphyromonas gingivalis yang telah dikultur pada media P.Ging dan Nutrient Agar diinkubasi selama 24 jam pada suhu 37oC dalam suasana anaerob dilakukan uji konfirmasi dengan pewarnaan Gram dan dilakukan penentuan kekeruhan bakteri dengan menggunakan spektrofotometer. Tanaman Asam Jawa (Tamarindus Indica Linn) secara empiris digunakan sebagai antibakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya hambat ekstrak daun asam jawa terhadap pertumbuhan S.aureus secara in vitro. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen laboratorium dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terbagi dalam 6 kelompok yaitu 4 kelompok perlakuan dan 2 kelompok kontrol dengan pengulangan sebanyak 6 kali. Kelompok perlakuan terdiri dari ekstrak daun asam jawa masing-masing dengan konsentrasi 25%, 50%, 75%, dan 100%. Kelompok kontrol positif diberikan antibiotik Vankomisin dan kelompok kontrol negatif diberikan Carboxyl Methyl Cellulose (CMC) 1%. Data dianalisis menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun asam jawa dengan konsentrasi 25%, 50%, 75%, dan 100% masing-masing mampu membentuk zona hambat pertumbuhan S.aureus sebesar 13,16 mm, 15 mm, 16mm, dan 17,50 mm. Sementara itu rata-rata diameter zona hambat yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok kontrol negatif dan positif masing-masing adalah 0 mm dan 20,50 mm. Hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa ekstrak daun asam jawa konsentrasi 25%, 50%, 75% dan 100% menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata dalam menghambat S. aureus dibandingkan dengan kontrol negatif dan positif pada taraf 5%. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi ekstrak maka semakin besar zona hambat yang terbentuk.
