Penelitian ini mengunakan 1.500 ekor larva ikan nila sebagai hewan coba. Percobaan ini dilakukan dengan merancang 5 perlakuan dengan 3 kali ulangan, masing-masing perlakuan terdiri dari 100 larva ikan. Pengamatan dilakukan setelah pemeliharaan ikan selama 3 bulan sampai kelamin ikan dapat diamati. Parameter yang dihitung adalah persentase jenis kelamin jantan. Rata-rata jenis kelamin jantan (%) ikan nila pada setiap perlakuan A, B, C, D dan E berturut-turut adalah A (46,33%), B (68%), C (76,33%), D (77,33%) dan E (82,67%). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konsentrasi hormon 17?-Metiltestosteron memiliki hubungan yang linear dengan persentase jantanisasi ikan nila dengan nilai regresi linear adalah y= 0,8201x + 53,73 dan nilai koefisian determinasi adalah R2= 0,8217. Persentase jantanisasi benih ikan nila berumur 3 hari diperkirakan akan mencapai 100% pada perlakuan konsentrasi 17?-Metiltestosteron sebesar 56,42 ppm. Nilai rata-rata kelangsungan hidup benih ikan nila pada setiap perlakuan diperoleh lebih besar dari 90%.ABSTRACTThe objective of this study was to determine the correlation of the 17?-Metiltestosterone hormone concentration with the percentage of male sex reversal of 3 days old nile tilapia larvaes (Oreochromis niloticus). The research used the days old of 1500 nile tilapia larvaes. The experiment was designed with 5 treatments and 3 repetitions, in which at each treatment consisted of 100 larvaes. The observation was conducted after three months of raising time till the sex of fish could be observed. The averages of male sex reversal percentages of nile tilapia fish at each treatment of A, B, C, D and E were 46.33%, 68%, 76,33%, 77,33% and 82,67%, respectively. The result showed that the concentration of the 17?-Metiltestosterone hormone hed the linear correlation with the male sex reversal percentage of nila tilapia, where the linear regresion value was y= 0,8201x + 53,73 and the determination coeffesien was R2= 0,8217. The percentage of 3 days old nile tilapia larvaes masculinization will be obtained for 100% at concentration of 17?-Metiltestosterone of 56,42 ppm. The averages of the survival rate value of nila tilapia larvaes after treatments were obtained more than 90%. Production in Ciawi BogorABSTRACT. Soba (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench) is potential alternative food source because of its chemical contents which are not so different from other main food sources. In its agronomical development, intensive and sustain research are needed to study solar radiation uses efficiencies, growth and yield of soba under different population an time planting. This research conducted from April to August 2000 at BPLP Ciawi – Bogor experiment station 415 meter top of sea level, 106 51 BT and 06 38 LS. Unit of research arranged by factorial completely randomized block design. The population factor consist of 3 level : 200 plants m-2 (P1), 160 plants m-2 (P2) and 133 plants m-2 (P3), and time of planting also consist of 3 levels : on April (T1), May (T2) and June (T3). Solar radiation uses efficiency at early growth to weeks after planting was higher at high population compared to low population, but after 5 weeks of planting or when maximum efficiencies, its higher on P2 compared P3 and P1. This showed that when grain filling and maturing, it is more intensive on low population then high population, however the anova for two factors at maximum efficiencies did not showed significant differences. Growth and yield of soba is better on high population compare to low population. This because on high population the microclimate condition and water availability is more adequate then on low population. There was no significant different on 1000 grain weight caused by two factors. For total yield P1 172,1 gm-2 was highest and significantly different then P2 143,6 gm-2 and P3 123,9 g m-2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh, mengidentifikasi dan menentukan kondisi optimum dari isolat lokal Pria Laot Sabang yang potensial memproduksi protease termostabil. Empat isolat (PLS A, PLS 75, PLS 76 dan PLS 80) dilakukan uji kualitatif terhadap aktivitas protease menggunakan media kasein dan susu skim. Bakteri penghasil protease diidentifikasi morfologinya menggunakan pewarnaan Gram dan Scanning Electron Microscop (SEM). Penentuan urutan nukleotida dilakukan dengan cara mengamplifikasi fragmen gen 16S rRNA dengan primer com-1F dan com-1R menggunakan metode Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). Produksi protease dianalisis dengan kurva pertumbuhan dan aktivitas protease dengan variasi waktu inkubasi dan suhu. Kurva pertumbuhan diukur dengan menentukan berat sel kering dan aktivitas enzim diuji menggunakan metode Anson dengan kasein sebagai substrat. Dari keempat isolat yang diuji, hanya PLS A yang potensial menghasilkan protease yang ditunjukkan dengan terbentuknya zona bening pada media kasein dan susu skim. Kondisi optimum produksi protease dari PLS A menunjukan aktivitas protease tertinggi pada waktu 18 jam dan suhu 650C dengan aktivitas sebesar 0,035 (Unit/mL). Hasil identifikasi morfologi memperlihatkan bahwa PLS A tergolong bakteri Gram negatif berbentuk batang dengan profil morfologi yang seragam. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan guru Pascasertifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kemampuan guru sertifikasi pada SMPN 1 Kota Banda Aceh berkenaan dengan kemampuan Perencanaan Pembelajaran dilaksanakan melalui program peningkataan kompetensi melalui MGMP, melalui penyusunan silabus, RPP, program tahunan, KKM, dan rincian minggu efektif, peningkatan mutu dalam proses pembelajaran, mengadakan supervisi PBM/KBM, supervisi ADM serta menindak lanjuti proses PBM. (2) Kemampuan Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran guru Sertifikasi SMP Negeri 1 Kota Banda Aceh dilakukan dengan mengikut sertakan dalam berbagai pertemuan-pertemuan, seminar-seminar dan lomba karya. A significant correlation was found among the land characteristics and slope was very evident and determined other land characteristics, including the production of oil palm.
