Penelitian teknologi alat dan mesin pasca panen telah dilaksanakan untuk menentukan kinerja alat pemipil dan pengering jagung yang akan meningkatkan pendapatan petani. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sejak April – Mei 2006 di Desa Tajau Pecah dan Bumi Asih, Kecamatan Batu Ampar, Kabupaten Tanah Laut Kalimantan Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keragaman teknis alat pemipil corn-seller cukup baik dilihat dari hasil pengukuran yang diperoleh yakni kadar air biji <22%, biji utuh 93,45%, butir pecah 5,5% dan kotoran 4,5%. Hasil pengukuran kadar air pada 8 bed dryer antara 14.32 – 16.32% dengan kondisi biji baik tertinggi 88,56% dan terendah 80,05%. Penggunaan alat pemipil corn-seller pada tingkat jasa pemipil (upah) Rp. 35/kg didapat dengan biaya pokok alat Rp. 17,38/kg, sedangkan upah pengeringan (bed dryer) adalah Rp. 120/kg, biaya pokok alat yang diperoleh sebesar Rp. 114,15/kg. Titik impas untuk corn-seller 276 ton/tahun dan bed dryer 215,94 ton/tahun, net present value (NPV) corn-seller sebesar Rp. 8.617.843,00. Berdasarkan analisis financial, biaya pokok dan NPV, corn-seller lebih layak dan menguntungkan sedangkan bed dryer belum layak dilihat dari B/C ration 0,95.Technology of Post Harvest Machinery as Supported Component of Maize Farming on Upland in South KalimantanABSTRACT. The machinery post harvest technology research was to examine the performance of corn sheller and bed dryer and those product quality to increase farmer income. The research was conducted in April till May 2006 at Tajau Pecah and Bumi Asih villages, Batu Ampar District, Tanah Laut regency, South Kalimantan. The result showed that at both of villages, farmer carried out their harvesting with : picked up (removed peel)-carried away-sheller-sold (dry weight). This activity had high percentage than if sold in fresh. Maize grain with <22% of water content, produce intact grain 93.45%, broken grain 5.55% and impurity as 4.5%. Measuring of water content as 14.32-16.34% on eight bed dryer indicated good grain condition as 88.56% for the highest and 80.05% for the lowest. The cost of utilizing corn-sheller at sheller leasing was Rp. 35/kg with prime cost as Rp. 114.15/kg. The break even point of corn sheller and bed dryer were 276 t/ha and 215.94 t/ha. The net present value (NPV) of corn sheller was Rp. 8,617,843. According of financial analysis, prime cost and NPV of corn sheller was more feasible and profitable than bed dryer (with B/C ratio 0.95). Penentuan lokasi sampling dipilih secara sengaja (Purposive sampling) yaitu 5% dari total rumah yang ada (777 unit rumah). Jenis tumbuhan yang diamati yaitu strata pohon, semak, dan tumbuhan bawah untuk menentukan tumbuhan asli Indonesia, tumbuhan introduksi, dan tumbuhan berpotensi invasif. 88 jenis tumbuhan yang berasal dari 53 suku telah ditemukan di lokasi penelitian. Enam jenis tumbuhan dari enam suku dari total tumbuhan yang ada di perumahan PT. Arun NGL merupaka tumbuhan asli Indonesia. Selanjutnya, tumbuhan yang diintroduksi sebanyak 82 jenis yang termasuk ke dalam 52 suku. Jenis dan suku tumbuhan yang berpotensi invasif di kawasan perumahan PT. Arun NGL berjumlah 10 jenis yang berasal dari tujuh suku. Banyaknya jenis dari tumbuhan berpotensi invasif yang ditemukan di wilayah ini akan mengancam tumbuhan lainnya di masa mendatang. Determination of the sampling locations was purposively selected (purposive sampling) that is 5% of the total existing houses (777 units). The stratum of trees, shrubs, and undergrowth plants had been observed to determine of Indonesia native, introduced, and potential invasive plant species. 88 plant species including from 53 families in total were found in research location. Six species from six families in total plants in PT. Arun NGL housing area are part of Indonesia native plant species. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada bulan Juni 2013 di Laboratorium Pakan Buatan BBAP Ujung Batee. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 (lima) perlakuan (0 ppt; 5 ppt; 10 ppt; 15 ppt; 31 ppt) dan 3 (tiga) ulangan. Data di olah dengan menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa benih ikan kakap putih yang dipelihara pada salinitas rendah tidak berbeda nyata serta tidak berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan. Namun dari hasil analisis varian dapat dilihat bahwa nilai tertinggi terdapat pada perlakuan D salinitas 15 ppt pada pertumbuhan berat relatif dan panjang mutlak.Kata kunci : ikan kakap putih, salinitas, pertumbuhan, Lates calcarifer.ABSTRACTThe objective of this research was to find out the growth of Barramundi (Later calcarifer) which was cultured in low salinity water. The research was conducted on June 2013 at laboratory of artificial feed, the Brackish Water Aquaculture Development Center, Ujong Batee. The research was designed using Completely Randomized Design with five treatments of salinity (0; 5; 10; 15; and 31 ppt) and three replications. The data was analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The result showed that the cultured fingerling of Barramundi in low salinity water found no significant effect on the its growth. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji jarak tanam sistem legowo pada beberapa varietas terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil padi. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menguji interaksi antara jarak tanam dengan varietas terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan petak terpisah dengan empat ulangan. Faktor yang diteliti adalah (1) varietas, yang terdiri dari tiga taraf, yaitu Pandan Wangi, Ciherang, dan Cot Irie dan (2) jarak tanam, terdiri dari dua taraf, yaitu 21 cm x 10,5 cm x 42 cm dan 25 cm x 12,5 cm x 50 cm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah anakan produktif, tetapi berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap panjang malai dan hasil per ha. Galur Cot Irie memberikan panjang malai dan hasil per ha yang lebih baik dibanding varietas Ciherang dan Pandan Wangi, sementara Varietas Ciherang memberikan panjang malai dan hasil per ha yang tidak berbeda nyata dengan Varietas Pandan Wangi. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa jarak tanam berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah anakan produktif, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang malai dan hasil per ha. Jarak tanam berbasis 25 cm secara signifikan memberikan jumlah anakan produktif lebih banyak dibanding jarak tanam berbasis 21 cm. Tidak ada interaksi antara varietas dan jarak tanam terhadap jumlah anakan, panjang malai, dan hasil per ha. Investigating Plant Spacing of Legowo System on Growth and Yield of Several Rice Varieties in SRI MethodABSTRACT. The objectives of this study were to examine plant spacing of legowo system on growth and yield of several varieties of rice and interaction between plant spacing and varieties on growth and yield of rice. This study used a split plot design with four replicates. Factors studied were (1) varieties, consisting of three levels, namely, Pandan Wangi, Ciherang, and Cot Irie and (2) plant spacing, consisting of two levels, namely 21 cm x 10.5 cm x 42 cm and 25 cm x 12.5 cm x 50 cm. Results showed that varieties did not significantly affect number of productive tillers, but significantly affected length of panicle and yield per ha. Cot Irie Line provided greater panicle and yield per hectare than Ciherang and Pandan Wangi Varieties, while Ciherang did not provide significantly different panicle and yield per hectare, compared to Pandan Wangi. Result also showed that plant spacing significantly affected number of productive tillers, but did not significantly affect length of panicle and yield per ha. Plant spacing on basis of 25 cm significantly provided more number of productive tillers than that of 21 cm. There were no significant interaction between varieties and plant spacing on number of tillers, length of panicle, and yield per ha. Climate is one of the most important factor to the success of the agriculture production. Climate variability such as season change, lack or excess of water, are sample examples of climate factors which limit agriculture production. This research conducted to identified the potency of drought at Banten Province by consecutive dry days analysis at 5, 10, and 15 continuous days or more. The result showed that the potency of drought at northern Banten is higher compared to middle and southern Banten. Penelitian ini sebagai prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif kualitatif berupa kata-kata tertulis yang telah diwawancara dari responden dan informan. Pada pemilukada tahun 2012 di Kabupaten Aceh Singkil partai Golkar menerapkan strategi yaitu membangun Indonesia dari desa, strategi pembentukan organisasi sayap, memaksimalkan mesin partai, strategi membentuk citra positif, peran koalisi partai Golkar, figur calon, komunikasi politik, direct selling, dan kampanye partai Golkar. Hambatan yang dialami partai Golkar yaitu banyaknya pasangan calon yang ikut serta pada pemilukada tahun 2012 di Kabupaten Aceh Singkil. Banyaknya pasangan yang curi strar kampanye, dan pasangan yang diusung partai Golkar cacat hukum. serta solusi yang di lakukan ialah partai Golkar harus bekerja lebih keras lagi untuk memperoleh suara dan ketegasan hukum.Partai Golkar harus meningkatkan pelayanan kepada masyarakat, ini merupakan pembuktian janji-janji perubahan yang mereka kampanyekan pada pemilukada tahun 2012. Pasangan H.Safriadi Manik,SH dan Dulmusrid sebagai Bupati dan Wakil Bupati terpilih, diharapkan mampu memenuhi semua janji-janji yang telah dikampanyekan pada pemilukada tahun 2012 di Kabupaten Aceh Singkil.
