Concentrations of CO2 of 30% has been shown to slow microbial growth while O2 preserves the natural color of red meat. The addition of low concentrations of CO (<0.4%) preserves the color stability of the meat while allowing for lower levels of O2 which reduces the oxidative spoilage of the product. Shelf-life extension of 5 to 10 days above traditional MAP has been seen with CO-MAP technologies. The addition of active/smart films such as antimicrobial films and/or the combination of irradiation further extends the shelf-life of red meat. The objective of the present study was to collect information of fishermen perceptions  in Aceh Besar district. The study was conducted from June to August 2012, while the field survey conducted on 21 to 28 June 2012 at some fishing villages in Aceh Besar district namely: (a) Baitussalam and Mesjid, (b) Peukan Bada, (c) Leupung, Lhoknga and Lhoong, (d) Pulo Aceh, (e) Seulimum. The Results showed that most of  respondents were  in the productive age (31-45 years).  The majority of the respondents have recieved subsidies from a variety of sources both government and non-governmental organizations. The common type of subsidy were in the form of goods (in kinds) namely: boats, fishing gear and boat engines, and small portion in cash. In addition, the majority of fishermen stated that the type of assistance provided was in accordance with their needs as fishermen and most fishermen are still expected that fisheries subsidies should be continued. In regard to environmental  and conservation issues that  most fishermen agreed with the conservation area in the district of Aceh Besar. However, most of the respondents stated that they have not been involved in conservation activities. Cellular changes involved in the formation of decidua in the pregnant mouse uterus up to day 8 of pregnancy were examined by histological, electron microscopic, and histochemical techniques. On day 6 of pregnancy, the vole embryos were laid in interstitium of antimesometrial side of the uterus, as well as in intraspecific pregnancy. Compared with intraspesific pregnant mouse, blood vessels were numerous in the decidua around the vole embryos in interspecific pregnancy. Both distribution and dilation of the blood vessels were increased on day 8. A part of cells in the inner cell mass had not nuclei, suggesting damaged vole embryos on day 8. At the implantation site, the uterine decidua was invaded by extravillous trophoblast (EVT) cells whose function is to destroy the walls of the uterine spiral. Moreover, this decidua was infiltrated by a population of natural killer (NK) cells and macrophage. These cells were particularly numerous in the decidua basalis at the implantation site where they come into close contact with invading EVT cells. These results suggest that interaction between NK, macrophage, and EVT provides the controlling relationship of embryo-maternal in intraspecific and interspecific pregnancy.
