Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyiangan gulma dengan sistim tanam SRI dan sistim tanam konvensional terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil padi sawah. Sedangkan hasil terendah dijumpai pada penyiangan 60 HST menggunakan sistem konvensional. Effect of Weed Mowing and Planting System on Growth and Yield of Rice (Oryza sativa L.).ABSTRACT. The objectives of the research were to study effects of weed mowing using System Rice Intensification (SRI) and conventional transplanting system on growth and yield of rice. The experiment was arranged in a split plot design using factorial randomized block design which consists of 2 checked factors i.e main plot that is transplanting system consists of: SRI and conventional and sub plot that is effect of weed mowing consists of three levels: 20 DAT mowing, 40 DAT mowing, and 60 DAT mowing. Result showed that the mowing of weed affect the growth and yield of rice which conducted using SRI and conventional transplanting system. The best growth and yield in this experiment was obtained by using SRI transplanting system and 20 DAT. Pasir laut sebagai salah satu sumber material agregat halus memiliki ketersediaan dalam kuantitas yang besar dan berpotensi untuk dapat digunakan sebagai komponen dari campuran beton aspal, namun secara kualitas masih perlu diteliti lebih lanjut terhadap campuran beton aspal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik dari variasi persentase pasir laut sebagai agregat halus dalam campuran laston lapis pengikat (AC-BC) dan dilakukan pengujian terhadap parameter Marshall dan durabilitas menggunakan aspal Retona Blend 55 sebagai bahan pengikat. Gradasi yang digunakan berupa gradasi menerus dengan jumlah fraksi agregat halus sebanyak 22,8% dan akan dibuat benda uji dengan tiga variasi persentase pasir laut sebesar 0%; 10% dan 15%. Prosedur pengujian dimulai dengan pemeriksaan sifat-sifat fisis bahan, kemudian perencanaan campuran benda uji, pembuatan benda uji untuk menentukan kadar aspal optimum (KAO) dengan variasi kadar aspal 4,0%; 4,5%; 5,0%; 5,5%; dan 6,0%; perhitungan dan pengujian Marshall, evaluasi parameter Marshall, pengujian Marshall rendaman 24 jam, dan terakhir perhitungan parameter Marshall. Setiap variasi kadar aspal masing-masing dibuat 3 buah benda uji untuk mendapatkan kadar aspal optimum untuk masing-masing variasi persentase pasir. Nilai KAO yang didapat meningkat dengan semakin banyaknya persentase pasir yang ditambahkan dalam campuran yaitu sebesar 5,04% pada persentase pasir 0%; 5,21% pada persentase pasir 10% dan 5,5% pada persentase pasir 15%. Pada evaluasi parameter Marshal, hasil yang diperoleh dari ketiga variasi persentase pasir laut masih memenuhi semua spesifikasi yang disyaratkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi persentase pasir laut 10% dan 15% tidak dapat digunakan karena nilai durabilitasnya sebesar 84,71% dan 82,52%, hasil tersebut tidak sesuai dengan spesifikasi yang telah disyaratkan dimana syarat yang ditentukan dalam spesifikasi adalah minimum 90%. Status ekonomi orangtua merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat memengaruhi motivasi berprestasi pada siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi berprestasi siswa SMA di Banda Aceh ditinjau dari status ekonomi orangtua. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan teknik multi cluster & stratified random sampling. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 100 siswa (50 siswa berstatus ekonomi orang tua tinggi dan 50 siswa berstatus ekonomi orang tua rendah) yang terpilih dari 3 Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Banda Aceh yaitu SMA 2, SMA 5 dan SMA 8 dengan rentang usia 16-17 tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui 30 pernyataan dalam Skala Motivasi Berprestasi yang dimodifikasi oleh peneliti dari skala sebelumnya yang dikembangkan oleh Amira (2013). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan independent samples t-test dan diperoleh bahwa terdapat perbedaan motivasi berprestasi yang signifikan (p < 0,05) antara siswa yang berasal dari keluarga dengan status ekonomi tinggi dengan status ekonomi rendah. Data menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berprestasi siswa dari keluarga status ekonomi tinggi lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang berasal dari keluarga dengan status ekonomi rendah. A plot experiment was conducted in the field which objective was to study the effect of organic matter and phosphate fertilizer application on the change of physical properties of entisols and yield of peanut. Experimental treatment were arranged in the block random factorial design. There kinds of organic matter were animal manure, rice straw and peanut straw. The first factor were 0 ton ha-1 of organic matter, 20 ton ha-1 of animal manure, 20 ton ha-1 of rice straw and 20 ton ha-1 of peanut straw, the other factor was SP-36 dosage; there were 0, 60, and 120 kg ha-1. Each treatment was replicated three times. The result showed that organic matter and SP-36 application influenced to physical properties of Entisols i.e. decreased soil bulk density, increased total of soil porosity, available water porosity, soil aggregate stability index, soil aggregation and dry legume weight ha-1. The applications of 20 ton rice straw ha-1 was the optimum dosage on the application of 108.50 kg of SP-36 ha-1, with the maximum dry legume yield of 3.02 ton ha-1.
