A problem associated with the implementation of the micro-hydropower plant in the village is that the water flowrate of the run-of-river is varied at 117 litres per second during the wet season and at 36 litres per second during the dry season. This variation affects the speed of the water turbine and the capacity of power generated by its generator. Therefore to stabilize the output power and voltage of the generator during the course of the year, this paper aims to regulate the intake water flowing into the water turbine by controlling the opening vent valve from 0% up to 100% and controlling the electrical load connected to the generator. The speed of the water turbine was measured using the tachometer. It was found that the generator can produce electricity at its rated power 40 kVA during the wet season by opening the valve at 100% and at 12 kVA with the opening valve at 30% during the dry season. Another goal that you want to see in this study is to determine whether there is interaction between the application of learning and grouping students to increased problem solving skills and mathematical communication students; and the attitude of students towards learning Jigsaw cooperative. Popolation in this study were all students of class XI of SMAN 1 Bukit Bener Meriah by taking samples of the two classes (class experiment acquire contextual approach to learning and conventional learning gain control class) through purposive sampling of five parallel classes are available. This research is experimental and instrument used is the type of the test (about problem solving and communication) and non-test (student attitude scale). Collecting data using test instruments such as problem solving and communication abilities as well as the mathematical scale questionnaire students' attitudes toward the implementation of cooperative learning jigsaw. To see the differences between the students' increased ability experimental group with the control group used the t-test with a significance level of 0.05 after testing prerequisites are met. The results showed that an increase in problem-solving and communication abilities of students receiving mathematical cooperative learning jigsaw better than students who received conventional learning. There is no interaction between the application of learning and ability grouping of students to an increase in mathematical problem solving and communication students. The objective of the research is to analyze the frequency of Tropical Cyclone between 2007-2011 and to analyze Typhoon Choi-wan and Typhoon Nida. Geographical location of the research is between 30-195E, 15-180W dan 60-60N.  Tropical cyclone is a cyclonic originates from tropical oceans and is driven principally by heat transfer from the ocean. Tropical region is an area that receives more intensive solar radiation, so that sea surface temperature is relatively higher then in the pole. High sea surface temperature drive then a low pressure to form which can lead to tropical cyclone that begins with a tropical disturbance and tropical depression, tropical storms and then tropical cyclones. Frequencies of Tropical cyclone occurrences over northern hemisphere are 320 events which are higher than frequencies of tropical cyclone over southern hemisphere, i.e., 132 occasions. Tropical cyclones are analogues to Carnot heat engines. The size of the energy can be expressed as the total entropy s per unit of air mass and its mechanical energy. Carnot cycle is a closed process. During the cycle entropy is produce near sea level where the sea surface temperature is warm and it will be loss near the top of the clouds where the temperature is cold. Carnot cycle in tropical cyclones can produce mechanical energy. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis frekuensi kejadian siklon tropis antara tahun 2007-2011 dan menganalisis Topan Choi-wan dan Topan Nida. Domain geografi pada penelitian ini yaitu 30-195˚BT, 15-180˚BB dan 60-60˚LU. Siklon tropis adalah gerakan siklonik yang berasal dari lautan tropik dan digerakkan oleh transfer panas dari lautan. Daerah tropika merupakan daerah yang lebih intensif menerima radiasi matahari, sehingga suhu permukaan laut di daerah tropika lebih tinggi daripada di daerah kutub. Ketika suhu permukaan laut tinggi maka terbentuk pusat tekanan rendah yang dapat memicu terjadinya siklon tropis yang dimulai dengan gangguan tropis lalu depresi tropis, badai tropis selanjutnya terjadi siklon tropis. Frekuensi kejadian siklon tropis di BBU adalah 320 kejadian lebih besar daripada frekuensi kejadian siklon tropis di BBS yaitu 132 siklon tropis. Siklon tropis dianalogikan sebagai mesin Carnot. Ukuran dari energi dapat dihitung melalui total entropi s per unit masa udara dan energi mekanik dari siklon tersebut. Siklus Carnot merupakan proses tertutup. Selama siklus tersebut berlangsung entropi diperoleh dekat permukaan laut dengan suhu yang hangat, dan entropi dapat hilang di dekat awan bagian atas karena suhu awan semakin dingin. Siklus Carnot pada siklon tropis dapat menghasilkan energi mekanik. The objective of this survey is to determinate Rock Quality Designation (RQD) of the granitic rock mass quarried from terrace 9 (highest) to terrace 7. The SASW survey was conducted with using OROS 25 and the software that used for data processing is Winsasw 3.1.3. The Rock Quality Designation (RQD) for terrace 9 varies from 45.63 % to 94.17 %. Base onSuharsono rock classification system, these two values suggest that the rock mass is easy rippable and need blasting. This method was carried out locally in both the geothermal filed of Heutsz’s Crater and Cempaga’s Crater where the locations are in Seulawah Agam slope which is included in Aceh Besar District. Geologically, the area is mainly controlled by volcanic mudflow and Lam Teuba’s rocks consisting of breccia, pumice and tuff and their age are from Tersier to Resen Period. The deployed equipment consisted of Magnetometer GSM-19T, Proton Sensors, Aluminum Stick, Connection Cable, GPS Antenna, Compass, and Watch. Portable GPS (Global Positioning System), Navigation type (map of the survey area), and complemented by the other technical equipment, such as handy talky, umbrella, pens and notes of observed data. This study was done by following two steps. At first, the base station was established as a reference point for all magnetic data of measurements. Furthermore, recording magnetic data at each point by repeating three times until the last point by following the looping pattern as pathway of measurement both in Heutsz’s crater whose nine point recordings and in Cempaga’s crater whose seventeen points was consecutively done. The data were simply processed by using Microsoft excel that can just plot the magnetic anomaly and interpreted qualitatively being preliminary research. The result showed that at the north pathway had high magnetic anomaly of rocks located at B6 point and it was assumed as the area having the economically mineral in fracture zones. The rocks with low a anomaly value were obtained at –F125 BR is suggested as the thermal sources while at the South pathway from observing station till the Cempaga’s crater was obtained the geological structure as the Sumatran Fault of Aceh’s segment at CK4 point and this finding showed similar correlation with the result of gravity survey at same pathway published in another paper. In conclusion, this method effectively showed that the Seulawah Agam has potency as thermal source. Penelitian ini cosecctional dan deskriptif analitik, dilakukan pada19-23 Agustus 2013. Populasi dan sampel semua siswa kelas 3 SMAN 2 Banda Aceh. Data dikumpulkandengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner frekuensi makanan. Pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakananalisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Frekuensiminuman ringan berkarbonasi jarang dikonsumsi sebanyak 63 orang dan minuman ringan berkarbonasi nonjarangdikonsumsi sebanyak 59 orang. Chi-square test hasil bahwa ada pengaruh konsumsi minuman ringanberkarbonasi (P-Value = 0,015), dan tidak ada efek konsumsi minuman ringan non-karbonasi dengankejadian obesitas (P-Value = 0,036). Tidak ada efek dari konsumsi minuman ringan berkarbonasi banyakragamnya dan non berkarbonasi terhadap kejadian obesitas di SMAN 2 Banda Aceh. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes, observasi, dan angket. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas dan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan (1) Menunjukkan adanya peningkatan ketuntasan rata-rata pada hasil belajar siswa dapat dilihat secara individual, RPP-I hanya 21 siswa yang tuntas, secara klasikal sebesar 77,78%, RPP-II mengalami kenaikan menjadi 24 siswa yang tuntas, secara klasikal sebesar 88,89%, RPP-III terdapat 26 siswa yang tuntas, secara klasikal sebesar 96,29%. (2) Aktivitas guru dan siswa telah mencerminkan pelaksanaan model picture and student active; (3) Keterampilan guru dalam menerapkan model picture and student active telah mengalami peningkatan, yaitu siklus I (2,91) sedang, siklus II (3,3) cukup baik, dan siklus III (3,9) baik; dan (4) Respon rata-rata siswa terhadap model picture and student active yaitu 96,2% senang, 96,2% baru, 100% berminat, 96% jelas, dan 92% model picture and student active. Creator An entity primarily responsible for making the resource Asrinanda Description An account of the resource ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Dana Alokasi Umum,Pendapatan Asli Daerah, dan Dana Bagi Hasil Migas secara simultan terhadap BelanjaModal pada Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Aceh.Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupaLaporan Realisasi APBK Tahun 2008 sampai dengan 2013. Dari laporan tersebutdiperoleh data mengenai jumlah realisasi DAU, PAD, DBHM, dan Belanja Modal. Datadiperoleh dari Dinas Keuangan Aceh.Dana Alokasi Umum dari tahun 2008-2013 berpengaruh negatif terhadap BelanjaModal Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Aceh. Hal ini mengidentifikasikan bahwa samakinbesar Dana Alokasi Umum maka akan semakin kecil alokasi untuk Belanja Modal diKabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Aceh. Pendapatan Asli Daerah dari tahun 2008-2013berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap Belanja Modal Kabupaten/Kota di ProvinsiAceh. Hal ini mengidentifikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi Pendapatan Asli Daerah makaakan semakin besar alokasi untuk Belanja Modal di Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Aceh.Dana Bagi Hasil Migas dari tahun 2008-2013 berpengaruh terhadap Belanja ModalKabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Aceh. Hal ini mengidentifikasikan bahwa semakin besarDana Bagi Hasil baik dari pajak maupun dari bagi hasil sumber daya alam maka akansemakin besar alokasi untuk Belanja Modal di Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Aceh.Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan secara simultan Dana Alokasi Umum,Pendapatan Asli Daerah, dan Dana Bagi Hasil Migas berpengaruh signifikan terhadapBelanja Modal Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Aceh.Kata kunci : Dana alokasi umum, pendapatan asli daerah, dana bagi hasil,dan belanjamodal.
