                <text>Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk mempelajari  pengaruh  esterifikasi pati  ubi  jalar (Ipomoea  batatas L (Lam)) ungu  dengan  asetat  anhidrida  dan  dekanoil  klorida terhadap sifat fisika dan  kimianya. Pati dimodifikasi dengan asetat anhidrida dan dekanoil  klorida  masing-masing  dengan  perbandingan  konsentrasi  pati  terhadap pereaksi  1:0,4  dan  1:1  (b/v)  menggunakan  natrium  hidroksida  sebagai  katalis. Perubahan  sifat  fisik  ditentukan  dari swelling  capacity,  kelarutan,  morfologi  dan kristalinitas. Perubahan kimia ditentukan dari gugus fungsi, derajat substitusi dan kadar gugus asil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan swelling capacity dan kelarutan  pada  pati  yang  diesterifikasi  dengan  asetat  anhidrida  serta  penurunan swelling capacity dan  kelarutan  pada  pati  yang  diesterifikasi  dengan  dekanoil klorida.  Derajat  substitusi  dan  kadar  gugus  asil  meningkat  dengan  bertambahnya jumlah  pereaksi  yang  ditambahkan.  Spektrum  FTIR  dari pati  esterifikasi  dengan asetat  anhidrida  dan  dekanoil  klorida  menunjukkan  puncak  gugus  karbonil  pada 1725  cm-1 dan  1695 cm-1.  Analisis SEM  dan  difraksi  sinar-X  menunjukkan pecahnya granula pati dan hilangnya kristalinitas pada pati esterifikasi.Kata kunci : Ipomoea batatas, esterifikasi, asetat anhidrida, dekanoil klorida dan swelling capacity.</text>

                <text>ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh varietas tanaman cabai dan konsentrasi pupuk bayfolan terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil cabai serta interaksinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok faktorial dengan  dua taraf  varietas cabai (TM-999 dan Cemeti) dan empat taraf konsentrasi pemupukan bayfolan (0, 1, 2, dan 3 cc L-1 air). Peubah yang diamati adalah: tinggi tanaman 30, 60, 90 MST, jumlah cabang pada 60 dan 90 MST, jumlah buah per tanaman, bobot buah per tanaman dan bobot 100 buah.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan dan hasil yang terbaik dijumpai pada varietas TM-999. Konsentrasi pupuk bayfolan terbaik dijumpai pada 1 dan  2 cc L-1 air. Ada interaksi yang nyata antara varietas dan konsentrasi pupuk bayfolan terhadap tinggi tanaman pada 90 MST, dan interaksi terbaik dijumpai pada varietas TM-999 yang diberikan konsentrasi pupuk bayfolan sebanyak 1-2 cc L-1 air. The Effects of Varieties dan Bayfolan Fertilizer Concentration on Growth and Yield of Chili (Capsicum annum L.)ABSTRACT. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of chili variety and the concentration of Bayfolan fertilizer on the growth and yield of chili and the interaction between these factors. The research was conducted using a randomized block design with 2 factors of chili varieties and 4 factors of fertilizer which 3 replications. Factors studied are chili variety (TM-999 and Cemeti) and the concentrations of Bayfolan fertilizer (control, 1, 2, and 3 cc L-1 water). Observed variable was the plant height at 30, 60 and 90 days after planting (DAP), the number of branches at 60 and 90 DAP, the number of fruits per plant, the fruit weight per plant and weight of 100 fruit. The result showed the best growth and yield was found on chili varieties TM-999. The best concentration of Bayfolan fertilizer was found at 1 and 2 cc L-1 water. There is a significant interaction between varieties and the concentration of Bayfolan fertilizer on the plant height at 90 DAP, the best interaction was found between chili varieties TM-999 and Bayfolan fertilizer at concentration 1-2 cc L-1 water.</text>

                <text>ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati pengaruh pemberian buah naga (Hylocereus costaricensis) terhadap siklus estrus mencit (Mus musculus). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial 4x2 dengan 8 kombinasi perlakuan sebanyak 3 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri atas 2 faktor yaitu dosis dan fase siklus awal pemberian. Dosis buah naga terdiri atas: 0 mg/kg bb (D0), 7 mg/kg bb (D1), 14 mg/kg bb (D2), dan 21 mg/kg bb (D3). Pemberian perlakuan buah naga dilakukan pada fase estrus dan metestrus. Parameter yang diamati adalah lama siklus estrus dan fase yang mengalami perpanjangan waktu. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan analisis varian dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dosis buah naga berpengaruh nyata terhadap lama siklus estrus. Pemberian buah naga pada dosis 14 mg/kg bb dan 21 mg/kg bb dapat memperpanjang lama siklus estrus masing-masing menjadi 6 dan 6,5 hari. Pemberian buah naga pada fase estrus maupun metestrus hanya menunjukan perpanjangan waktu pada fase estrus. Kata kunci : Hylocereus costaricensis, siklus estrus, dan fase estrus.ABSTRACTThis research aimed to know the effect of dragon fruit (Hylocereus costaricensis) on the estrous cycle of mice (Mus musculus). The experimental method with Completely Randomized Design. Was applied of the reseach counsisted of 4x2 treatment combination was repeated in three times. The factors were dragon doses and administration of initial phase cycle. Dragon fruit doses were of: 0 mg/kg bw (D0), 7 mg/kg bw (D1), 14 mg/kg bw (D2), and 21 mg/kg bw (D3). Initial phase cycle were estrous and metestrous. Parameters measured was long of estrous cycles and phase in extended time. The data were analyzed by analysis of variance followed by Tukey Test. The results showed significant dose of dragon fruit on a long estrous cycle. Granting dragon fruit at a respectively to 6 and 6,5 days. Granting dragon fruit on estrous phase and metestrous only shows an extended time in the estrous phase.Keywords : Hylocereus costaricensis, estrous cycle and, estrous phase.</text>

Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Lembah Seulawah Kabupaten Aceh Besar tahun 2013. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dengan metode wawancara menanyakan langsung daftar pertanyaan (kuisioner) kepada 62 responden petani pisang barangan yang terdapat di Desa Lambaro Tunong, Desa Teuladan, Desa Suka Damai dan Desa Suka Mulia. Pendekatan Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu model regresi linear berganda dengan ordinary least square (OLS). Hasil penelitian diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS versi.16 menunjukkan bahwa faktor luas tanam, tenaga kerja, dan harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendapatan sedangkan faktor modal berpengaruh negatif tetapi signifikan terhadap pendapatan. Sedangkan secara simultan variabel luas tanam, modal, tenaga kerja dan harga mempengaruhi pendapatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diharapkan  para petani  mampu meningkatkan pendapatannya khususnya pada faktor modal agar lebih efektif dan efisien terhadap modal yang digunakan  pada usahatani pisang barangan tersebut.Kata Kunci : Pendapatan, Luas Tanam, Modal, Tenaga Kerja, Harga</text>

                <text> Abstract –The objective of the present study was to determine the best concentration of urea solution and rinsing time to remove adhesiveness of African catfish eggs. Four different concentrations of rinse solution were used in this experiment comprising of 2 g, 4 g, 6 g and 8 g of urea diluted in 4 g NaCl/L of water producing a concentration of 0.486 mM, 0.973 mM, 1.458 mM, and 1.946 mM of urea concentration respectively, while 4 g NaCl/L of water without urea were used as control. The fish eggs were rinsed with the solutions at different durations namely; 1, 5 and 10 minutes. Each rinsing solution concentration and rinsing time were conducted in three replicates. The fertilization and hatching rates increased and peaked from the control (0 mM of urea) to 0.466 mN urea and decreased when concentration of urea was increased to 0.973 mM urea and 1.458 mM urea, then increased again at 1.946 mM urea, but these values were lower than at 0.486 mM urea. Thus, the best concentration for fertilization and hatching rates were 0.486 urea of urea.                 <text>ABSTRAKKata kunci : Hasil Belajar, Pembelajaran Kooperatif Think-Pair-Square (TPS), Turunan.Materi turunan merupakan materi baru yang dipelajari oleh siswa di SMA, materi tersebut belum pernah di ajarkan di sekolah tingkat pertama sehingga penguasaan materi turunan banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar dan mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu cara meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa adalah dengan menerapkan model-model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan materi yang akan diajarkan. Diantara beberapa model pembelajaran, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS (Think-Pair-Square) termasuk model pembelajaran yang dapat dan mudah digunakan serta dilaksanakan dalam pembelajaran matematika, dan dalam hal ini diterapkan pada materi turunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS pada materi turunan di kelas XI SMA Negeri  1 Krueng Barona Jaya. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Krueng Barona Jaya, sedangkan yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA-2. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain one shot case study. Pendekatan penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan tes hasil belajar  yang terdiri dari 5 soal essay setelah pembelajaran berlangsung. Selanjutnya, pengolahan data kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-t satu pihak (uji pihak kanan) pada taraf signifikan ?=0,05 dan derajat kebebasan dk = 21. Pada uji-t diperoleh t_hitung=6,97 lebih besar dari t_tabel=1.72, yaitu  6,97&gt;1,72 ini menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Krueng Barona Jaya yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS pada  materi turunan dapat mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Hasil penelitian ini juga didukung oleh kemampuan guru yang baik, aktivitas siswa yang efektif, dan respon siswa yang positif.</text>
