Dried leaves of C. alata (850 g) were macerated into n-hexane to obtain a dark green crude extract (31.79 g). The n-hexane crude extract was then subjected to vacuum liquid chromatography (VLC) and eluted with n-hexane and ethyl acetate to give 4 sub-fractions, namely fraction A (7.7251 g), fraction B (1.9419 g), fraction C (1.3565 g) and fraction D (1.4737 g) respectively. Based on phytochemical analysis, both n-hexane crude extract and chromatographic sub-fractions contained steroids as their secondary metabolite constituent. The antifungal activity was tested against C. albicans using the agar-disc diffusion method with three different concentrations (10, 30 and 50%). Fraction D showed medium antifungal activity at 10.6, 11.3 and 12.6 of diameter-inhibition zones (mm) respectively. This research purpose to  studied compatibility properties of the material and percent weight loss during the biodegradation test. Optimum weight loss (59,26% ) was showed after 60 days witches LDPE and starch composition ratio 6 : 4 (w/w)  while tensile strength  equal to 0,38 Kgf/mm2.  SEM characterization showed that biodegradation has occurred by  formation of hole in the biodegradable plastic surface. The research was aimed at study of biology and development of papaya mealy bug; from an egg stadium to mature bug. To understand the biology and development of mealy bug, a survey and collection of P. Marginatus were conducted for mass production in laboratory, then they were invested on healthy papaya leaf. This research aims to study the amount and duration of stage egg, nymph, imago, and the life cycle of brown plant hopper on four varieties of rice. The methods used in research was Complete Random Design  with four treatments (variety of IR 64, Batang Piaman, Cisokan, and IR 42) and eight replications. Research data were analyzed using variance analysis and continued with List Significant Different (LSD) at 5% level. The results of research showed that the number and duration of stage egg, nymph, imago, and cycle time of brown plant hopper in four rice varieties were different. Number of egg, nymph, and imago were lowest in 64 IR varieties, while the highest was IR 42 variety. Stage of eggs and nymphs were the shortest in IR 42 varieties, while the longest were IR variety 64. Imago stage was the shortest in IR 64 variety, while longest was the variety IR 42. The life cycle of brown plant hopper were shortest in IR 42 varieties, while longest was the variety IR 64. The results of this study can be concluded that the IR 64 varieties more resistant than the varieties IR 42, Cisokan, and Batang Piaman based on stage of egg, nymph, and imago. Aceh Tengah selama bulan April sampai Mei 2014. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aspek reproduksi ikan ili (Homaloptera sp.) serta mengetahui hubungan panjang berat dan faktor kondisi ikan ili (Homaloptera sp.). Penangkapan ikan dilakukan menggunakan alat tangkap serok dan serue (perangkap), ikan yang tertangkap diawetkan dengan menggunakan formalin 10%. Jumlah ikan ili (Homaloptera sp.) yang diamati selama penelitian adalah sebanyak 147 ekor, terdiri dari 92 ekor ikan jantan, 50 ekor ikan betina dan 5 ekor ikan tidak teridentifikasi jenis kelaminnya, panjang total ikan berkisar antara 3,36-9,05 cm. Analisa hubungan panjang berat ikan ili (Homaloptera sp.) didapatkan nilai b = 3,522 untuk ikan jantan dan 3,873 ikan betina, maka pola pertumbuhannya adalah allometrik positif. Nilai faktor kondisi rata-rata ikan jantan berkisar antara 1,01-1,32, dan ikan betina berkisar antara 1,26-1,69. Nisbah kelamin ikan ili (Homaloptera sp.) selama penelitian berada dalam kondisi tidak seimbang (berbeda nyata) 1,84:1. Ikan ili (Homaloptera sp.) yang diamati selama penelitian memiliki TKG I, II, III, dan IV sedangkan TKG V tidak ditemukan. Kisaran nilai IKG ikan betina lebih besar (2,54-16,81 %) daripada ikan jantan (0,29-3,23 %), diduga ikan ili dapat memijah sepanjang tahun dengan tipe pemijahan partial spawner. Fekunditas ikan ili berkisar antara 47-908 butir.
