It also attempts to test the Monthly effect on stock returns in the Indonesian and Malaysian Capital Markets, covers period between 2004 and 2013. This test using closing price of each month of the Jakarta Stock Exchange Index (JKSE), Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) and the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Hijrah Shariah Index (FBMHS). The analysis method used to test for differences between conventional and islamic stock returns is Independent Sample T- Test, While the Monthly effect on the stock returns is tested using the OLS (Ordinary Least Square). The findings of this study showed no differences between conventional and Islamic stock returns. Budidaya tanaman anggrek banyak menggunakan bibit hasil dari kultur in vitro. Kandungan nutrisi yang tepat sangat dibutuhkan untuk mempercepat pertumbuhan dan perkembangan planlet, yang dapat dilakukan melalui penambahan bahan organik kompleks. Ekstrak ragi mengandung beberapa nutrisi penting bagi planlet untuk mempercepat pertumbuhannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh penambahan ekstrak ragi dalam kultur in vitro planlet anggrek Cattleya spp. terhadap tinggi planlet, jumlah daun, jumlah akar dan panjang akar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Biologi Sel dan Molekuler Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Syiah Kuala. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 7 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri atas penambahan ekstrak ragi ke dalam media kultur dengan konsentrasi: 0 (kontrol); 1,0 ; 1,1; 1,2 1,3; 1,4; 1,5 g/L. Media yang digunakan adalah media Vacin and Went (VW). The method used was PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) which purposive sampling for respondences: keuchik, tuha peut, dan tabib on every villages. The parameters of this research was: the kinds of disease, organ of plant used, mixing way of medicine, and how to use. The result showed that from 455 respondents, all of them, have the indigenous knowledge about Jatropha curcas as medicinal plant. Contrary of Euphorbia pulcherrima, Manihot esculenta, Codiaeum variegatum, and Hevea brasilensis are unknown as medicinal plant. Phyllanthus urinaria is the most species used, because can heal 10 disease. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penggunaan pupuk urea slow release dan urea prill terhadap tinggi dan diameter batang, serapan nitrogen, dan efesiensi serapan nitrogen tanaman jagung, serta kesetaraan dosis dari penggunaan pupuk urea slow release dengan pupuk urea prill pada tanaman jagung hibrida varietas Pioneer 19. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 5 perlakuan, masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali sehingga diperoleh 15 unit penelitian. Tanaman jagung ditanam pada lahan seluas 7 x 5 m2, dengan luas petak perlakuan 1 x 1 m2/tanaman, jarak antar blok dan petak perlakuan berturut-turut 0,5 dan 0,25 m. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi dan diameter batang, serapan N, serta efesiensi serapan N tanaman pada umur 30 hari setelah tanam (HST). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pupuk urea slow release dan urea prill berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi dan diameter batang, serapan N, serta berpengaruh nyata terhadap efesiensi serapan N. Tinggi dan diameter batang, serta serapan N tertinggi diperoleh pada penggunaan 1,5 gram urea slow release. Penggunaan 0,5 gram pupuk urea slow release memiliki kesetaraan dosis dengan penggunaan 2 gram pupuk urea prill yang ditunjukkan oleh pertumbuhan tanaman yang tidak berbeda nyata pada uji BNT taraf 5%. Penggunaan pupuk urea slow release dengan dosis urea 0,5 gram mampu meningkatkan efesiensi serapan nitrogen 6 kali lebih besar dari penggunaan 2 gram pupuk urea prill, dan menghemat penggunaan urea sebesar 75% dari dosis urea prill.
