Kabupaten Aceh Tengah atau lebih tepatnya lagi Kota Takengon merupakan salah satu kota gambaran Indonesia yaitu negara agraris, di mana sebagian besar hasil produksi dari kota ini berasal dari pertanian. Hal ini terjadi dikarenakan Takengon mempunyai letak geografis yang terletak di dataran tinggi sehingga baik cuaca maupun iklimnya sangat mendukung kegiatan pertanian yang ada di kota ini, dan budidaya hortikultura pun dapat berkembang dengan baik. Dengan mengetahui kriteria buah unggulan daerah dan prospek pasar yang terbuka lebar, seharusnya masyarakat dapat lebih mengembangkan usahatani ini secara intensif. Adapun sentra produksi jeruk keprok gayo di Provinsi Aceh terletak di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Aceh Tengah di Kecamatan Kebayakan dan Bebesen. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara sengaja dengan pertimbangan bahwa daerah tersebut sebagai daerah sentral produksi jeruk keprok gayo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi serta efisiensi penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi usahatani jeruk keprok gayo. Adapun metode analisis yang digunakan adalah fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas. Hasil analisis fungsi produksi menunjukkan bahwa secara teknis faktor produksi tenaga kerja, pupuk kandang dan herbisida memberi pengaruh yang signifikan terhadapjeruk keprok gayo . Bireuen district has been known as soybean production centre in Aceh Province. However, average yield obtained is still under national yield. This research aimed: (1) to find out a relationship between land suitability and soybean yield, (2) to evaluate a relationship between land characteristics and soybean yield, (3) to determinate the land characteristics as determinable factor for soybean yield. There were nine characteristics sites were used under soybean farming that have land heterogeneity among sites and homogeneity within sites: 4 under rice field and 5 under rainfed. Natures of land morphology was evaluated each sites, and then soil samples were taken for soil properties evaluation in laboratory. The parameter of land morphology properties, physical and chemical were then adjusted according to the need of land suitability for soybean. Level of land management and its yield done by farmers were also evaluated. Yield from each plot (2 x 3 m2) was at random determined. The land suitability class was determined by comparing the land characteristics/land quality with soybean growth specification. Criteria made by Agriculture Department was used as a guidance. Futhermore, in order to determine determinable land characteristics were arranged in multiple linear regression analyses, in which yield of soybean as a Y and land characteristics as a X. Research result showed that the class of land suitability established were in parallel with soybean yields measure under relatively good management plots. Of the land characteristics that can be used as determinable factor were slope, rainfall, texture, drainage, and nutrient storage (pH). Kemampuan Pemahaman Matematis, Metakognitif, dan Kemandirian Belajar Siswa melalui Penggunaan Media Komputer di SMP.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis antara siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan penggunaan media komputer dan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan suatu studi kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian. Selain itu diungkap pula aspek metakognitif dan kemandirian belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media komputer. Subjek populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Banda Aceh dengan mengambil sampel dua kelas (kelas eksperimen memperoleh pembelajaran dengan bantuan media komputer yaitu Cabri Geometry II Plus dan Macromedia Flash 8 dan kelas kontrol memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional) melalui teknik purposive sampling dari delapan kelas paralel yang tersedia. Pengumpulan data digunakan instrumen berupa tes kemampuan pemahaman matematis, lembar pertanyaan metakognitif, dan angket kemandirian belajar siswa. Untuk melihat adanya perbedaan kemampuan siswa antara kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol digunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 setelah prasyarat pengujian terpenuhi dan hasil uji statistik kemudian dianalisis dengan bantuan SPSS 16 For Windows dan Microsoft Excel 2007 untuk menginterpretasikan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa serta kemandirian belajar dan kemampuan metakognitif siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan media komputer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan bantuan media komputer lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional yaitu pada kategori tinggi. Persoalan utama pada Andisol adalah tingginya kapasitas jerapan P tanah, sehingga tidak tersedia bagi tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan amelioran organik dan mikoriza dalam meningkatkan status P tanah dan hasil jagung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan percobaan pot yang ditata menurut rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) faktorial 4 x 2 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah pemberian amelioran organik yang terdiri atas 4 taraf (jenis) yaitu tanpa amelioran, pupuk kandang, jerami padi dan daun gamal masing-masing sebanyak 20 ton ha-1 atau setara 111 g per polibag. Faktor kedua adalah aplikasi mikoriza dengan 2 taraf yaitu tanpa mikoriza dan pemberian mikoriza sebanyak 10 g per polibag. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian amelioran organik dan mikoriza berpengaruh terhadap pH tanah, P total (ekstrak HCl 25 %), P tersedia (Bray 1) dan indek ketersediaan P tanah serta dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung. Kombinasi perlakuan yang memberikan  pengaruh terbaik terhadap status P dan pertumbuhan serta hasil jagung diperoleh pada pemberian pupuk kandang atau daun gamal yang dikombinasi dengan mikoriza. Organic Ameliorant and Mycorrhiza Increase Soil Phosphate Status and Maize Yield on AndisolABSTRACT. A common problem of Andisol soils is the high capacity for P adsorption, although total P content is relatively high. This characteristic causes inefficient use of P fertiliser, to the point that P deficiency can become a major constraint for crop production. This study aimed to determine the effect of organic ameliorants and mycorrhiza on the status of soil phosphate and yield of maize in Andisol.  The experiment was carried out in pots and arranged in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) 4x2 factorial with 3 replications. The first factor is the addition of organic ameliorant consisting of 4 treatments: without ameliorant, manure, rice straw and Gliciridea leaves. The dosage of each ameliorant is 20 ton ha-1 or equivalent to 111 g per polybag. The second factor is the application of mycorrhiza, consisting of 2 levels, no mycorrhiza and mycorrhiza  at 10 g per polybag. The results showed that the application of organic ameliorant and mycorrhiza  affected soil pH, total P (HCl 25% extractable P), available P (Bray 1), and the P availability index and increased the growth and yield of maize in Andisol. The two treatments that provided the most effect on the status of soil phosphate and plant growth and yield of maize were manure, and Glyricidea leaves, in combination with the addition of mycorrhiza. The objective of this research were to study the effect of nitrogen (N) from urea and phosphorus (P) from SP-36 fertilization on N and P uptake by sunflowers (Heliantus annuus L.) on Ultisol.The result of this experiment used was a randomized completely block design arranged in factorial pattern with three replications. The first factor was urea fertilizer (without N, 108.70, 217.40, and 326.10 kg ha-1 urea) and the second factor was P fertilizer (without P, 138.90, 277.80, and 416.70 kg ha-1 SP-36). The result of the experiment showed that, the application of increased urea at various rates of SP-36 affected on soil N total, P available (Bray-1), and yield of sunflowers. Nitrogen and P uptake as well as dry weight of sunflowers by application of 217.40 kg ha-1 urea was higher than without urea. Fertilization of 277.80 kg ha-1 SP-36 had influenced N and P uptake than without SP-36.
