The results showed that levels of fruit maturity did not significantly affect growth potential, germination, seedling vigor and growth rates of cocoa seeds. Storage method exerted highly significant effects on growth potential, germination, seedling vigor and growth rates of cocoa seeds. The best cocoa seed viability and vigor were found at a storage by using a paper straw. Metode penganalisaan adalah multiple linear regression dengan menggunakan aplkasi SPSSHasil analisis memperlihatkan variabel daya terima pasar dan variabel biaya mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap citra, akan tetapi tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap keputusan memilih. Variabel citra mempunyai pengaruh yang sangat dominan terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih.Lebih lanjut penelitian ini memperlihatkan, dengan dimediasi variabel citra, variabel daya terima pasar dan variabel biaya menjadi mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih Politeknik Aceh.Pemanfaatan hasil dari penelitian ini, Politeknik Aceh perlu memberi perhatian lebih kepada pembentukan citra sebagai perguruan tinggi dengan lulusanyang mempunyai daya terima pasar tinggi dengan biaya yang sesuai. Penguatan citra akan memberi dampak yang sangat kuat terhadap keputusan calon mahasiswa untuk memilih kuliah di Politeknik Aceh.
