The aim of this research was to study the viability of seeds of some species on some environmental pollution levels caused by lubricant waste. Units of this research were arranged by Factorial Randomized Completely Block Design with 3 replicates. Four levels of lubricant waste were 0, 1, 2 and 3 ppm, and 3 levels of seed species were spinach, mungbean, and soybean. The results showed that seed germination rate was very significantly affected by lubricant waste. The viability of spinach, mungbean, and soybean seeds pointed by seed germination rate could be an indicator of environmental pollution level caused by lubricant waste by equation; Y = 39.19 – 2,15x with r = -0.87. Potential germination, germination rate, seedling vigor, and seedling dry mass very significantly affected by seed species, but not on germination capacity. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design 3 x 4 with three replications. The apple juice was passed over the SDR disc spinning at 2000 rpm, heated at various temperatures (90 °C, 100 °C, 110 °C, and 120 °C), and at a flow rate of 7 ml/s. The effect of SDR-processing on viscosity and particle size of the apple juice concentration,  was investigated. The SDR-concentrated apple juice exhibits narrow particle size distribution (average particle size in the range of d32 = 0.1-0.2 µm and d43 = 4-12 µm) and shear-thinning behaviour in the range of shear rates from 0.1 – 200 s-1, in which the viscosity decreases with increasing the shear rate. The reconstituted samples show  similar viscosity with its original counterpart.  The increase of the processing temperature allows a reduction in the processing time. Feeding with zinc-supplemented diet is hypothesized to increase the circulating Vtg thereby enhancing reproductive development. A total of 80 ducks,aged 16 weeks old, were randomly assigned to treatment groups; namely: group A with 40 ducks fed with 30 ppm zinc-supplemented diet (zinc positive) and group B with 40 ducks fed with no added zinc (zinc negative). Thecirculating Vtg at sexual maturity (155.11±10.83 days old) were determined from the blood sera. The sera were assayed for Vtg in duplicate using 96–well microplate and read the optical density at 415nm. The zinc concentrationof the samples was calculated using the nonlinear regression =OD = a x [Zn2+] / (b + [Zn2+]. Results show that the circulating Vtg in the blood sera of ducks at sexual maturity were 0.69±0.07 Gg Zn dL-1. The feeding of zinc-treateddiet had no significant influenced on the concentration of circulating Vtg. There was also insignificant difference in the reproductive morphology of ducks fed with or without added zinc. The Vtg concentration had no correlation withreproductive parameters but found to be positively correlated with liver weight (H=0.21) and negatively correlated with body weight (H = -0.24).
