Tujuan dari penelitian limbah padat di pulau Weh ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mengidentifikasi kuantitas limbah padat di pulau dan daya degradasi oleh lingkungan (alam) yang dilakukan dengan menghitung neraca massa material yang masuk dan keluar dari pulau serta limbah padat yang dihasilkan dan menyusun aliran material di pulau Weh dan akumulasi material di pulau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa material yang masuk ke pulau Weh pertahun 35.466,2 ton yang terdiri dari material organik 9.810,46 ton/tahun dan anorganik 25.655,74 ton/tahun yang digunakan untuk kelompok konstruksi sebesar 52,56% dan untuk konsumsi 47,44%, dari barang masuk tersebut tersebar pemakaiannya di pulau dan lebih terkonsentrasi di kawasan kota. Sumber limbah padat ke TPA (Tempat Pembuangan Akhir) yaitu dari perumahan/pemukiman 38,57% (902,59 ton/tahun), fasilitas umum, kantor, dan sekolah 6,11% (142,98 ton/tahun), pertokoan, hotel, dan restoran 13,78% (322,47 ton/tahun), kawasan wisata 3,81% (89,16 ton/tahun), sapuan jalan 13,78% (322,47 ton/tahun) dan pasar 23,95% (560,47 ton/tahun). Limbah padat yang masuk ke TPA adalah 60% dari limbah padat di pulau Weh, yaitu 2.340,15 ton/tahun dari produksi limbah padat di pulau Weh dan 40% limbah padat tersebar di lingkungan (di luar TPA) yaitu sebesar 1.560,10 ton/tahun. Limbah padat yang keluar dari pulau adalah sebesar 1.118,83 ton/tahun, akumulasi barang/material di pulau adalah 34.342,32 ton/tahun, sedangkan limbah organik (kompos) tidak ada karena belum adanya produksi kompos di pulau Weh termasuk di TPA. Limbah padat lainnya yang tidak keluar dari pulau Weh dapat merusak ekosistem pulau jika tidak ditangani dengan benar. Hasil evaluasi terhadap Qanun No. 4 tahun 2004 tentang Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah Kota Sabang 2004-2014 pada bagian pasal 37 tentang persampahan menunjukkan bahwa apa yang dicanangkan belum sepenuhnya tercapai terutama masalah Usaha Daur Ulang Pupuk Kompos pada masing-masing kecamatan dan pada zona-zona produksi serta simpul-simpul pulau yang belum memproduksi kompos sedangkan pulau Weh masih memasok pupuk dari luar.Kata kunci :limbah padat, neraca massa, degradasi lingkungan, tata ruang, pulau Weh, Sabang.ABSTRACTSolid waste in the island should be managed in order to maintain the ecosystem for the next generation. The purpose of this study of solid waste on the island of Weh is to find and identify the quantity of solid waste and the environment degradation power by calculating the mass balance of materials in and out of the island as well as the solid waste generated and compiled the material flow in Weh island and the accumulation of material on the island. The results showed that the material that enter Weh island 35,466.2 tonnes per year consist of organic material 9,810.46 tons / year and inorganic 25,655.74 tons / year, used for the construction of 52.56% and 47.44% consumption, of the incoming goods are spread use on the island and more concentrated in the cities. The source of solid waste to landfill, from housing / residential 38.57% (902.59 tons / year), public facilities, office and schools 6.11% (142.98 tons / year), shops, hotels, and restaurants 13.78% (322.47 tons / year), tourist areas 3.81% (89.16 tons / year), sweep of the 13.78% (322.47 tons / year) and the markets 23.95% (560.47 tons / year). Solid waste that enter landfill is 60% of the solid waste on the island of Weh, ie 2,340.15 tons / year of solid waste production in Weh island and 40% of solid waste distributed in the environment (outside TPA) that is equal to 1,560.10 tons / years. Solid waste out of the island counted to 1,118.83 tons / year, the accumulation of goods / materials on the island is 34,342.37 tonnes / year, while organic waste (compost) due to no production on the island including compost at the landfill. Other solid waste that is not out of Weh island ecosystems can be damaged if not handled properly. The results of an evaluation of the Qanun No. 4 of 2004 on Sabang Spatial Planning 2004-2014 in the article 37 of the waste shows that what is proclaimed not fully achieved mainly problems for Composting Recycling Enterprises in each district and the production zones that have not been producing compost in the Weh island while the need of fertilizer still come from out of island.Keywords: solid waste, mass balance, degradation of environment, spatial planning, Weh island, Sabang. This study aimed to identify the primordial radionuclide distribution pattern elements and the total magnetic field, and investigate the influence of cement industry on the radioactive elements and magnetic field measurement results. In this work, the Gamma Ray Spectrometer GM-260 was used to measure the intensity of gamma ray, while the magnetometer G-856 proton precession magnetometer type (PPM) was used to observe the total magnetic field intensity. Measurements were taken at 52 points around the cement industry. As the results, the thorium, uranium, potassium distribution, and the total magnetic field has been create as a contour of maps. Thorium is the most radioactive element which found at the area. It was found on 32 points with a maximum value of 1.52 ppm. Uranium is obtained at 13 measuring points, with a maximum value of 0.46 ppm. While the Potassium is found only in two points, with the value are 0.04% and 0.09%. The values are very small, so it is not harmful to the environment. The maximum value of the total magnetic field is 681.80 nT. It means that the remanent magnetic field has the same direction as the induction magnetic field. So, the subsurface rock has a high magnetic values. The minimum value is -251.69nT, explained that the subsurface rocks are non-magnetic. Based on these analysis, indicated that there is no context between radioactive elements and magnetic field with the cement industry at the research area. Palm fly ash has high content of amorphous silica. ZSM-5 is one of synthetic zeolite which is widely used as catalyst in industries. ZSM-5 has high activity and selectivity to several hydrocarbon conversion reaction. Hence, ZSM-5 is being investigated for the conversion of vegetable oil to hydrocarbon.  It can be synthesized from silica and alumina. Sources of silica that can be added to the ZSM-5 synthesis,  are sodium silicate, hydrated silica, water glass sol silica, gelled silica, clay, precipitated silicaand calcined silica. ZSM-5 was synthesized free-template by using palm fly ash as silica source. In this research synthesis of ZSM-5 was carried out in autoclave at 18 hours and Na2O/Al2O3 molar ratio by various molar ratio from 30 to 40 and temperature in the range of 150 to 190 oC. The product was then analized using FTIR method. The best ZSM-5 product was obtained at Si/Al molar ratio of 40 and process temperature of 150 oC. Hal ini menyebabkan minat belajar siswa menjadi berkurang, sehingga hasil belajar siswa belum memuaskan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, mengetahui aktivitas guru dan siswa, mengetahui kemampuan guru dalam mengelola kegiatan pembelajaran, dan mengetahui respon siswa terhadap model discovery learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Objek penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran discovery learning, sedangkan yang menjadi subjek adalah siswa kelas VIII4. Instrument dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data dapat dilihat dari ketuntasan individual maupun klasikal. Pada siklus I (ketuntasan individual 66,67% dan klasikal 30%), siklus II (ketuntasan individual 83,33% dan klasikal 80%) dan pada sikuls III (ketuntasan individual 91,67% dan klasikal 90%). Aktivitas guru mengalami peningkatan. Siklus I sebesar 78%, siklus II sebesar 82% dan siklus III sebesar 91%. Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 70%, siklus II sebesar 81%, dan siklus III sebesar 86%. Kemampuan guru siklus I sebesar 3,09 (baik), siklus II sebesar 3,54 (sangat baik) dan siklus III sebesar 3,75 (sangat baik). Respon siswa terhadap penerapan model discovery learning yaitu 99% siswa senang terhadap topik yang dipelajari, 93,8% siswa menyatakan bahwa suasana dan model pembelajaran yang digunakan merupakan hal yang baru, dan 91,7% siswa berminat mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran discovery learning pada pertemuan selanjutnya. Sehingga model ini secara ilmiah dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning sangat baik, hasil belajar meningkat, minat siswa yang besar serta mereka senang dengan adanya model pembelajaran tersebut dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Baru. This studyaim is to find out the condition of the well water in Meuraxa Sub-district of BandaAceh city based on three parameters that have been in test consisting of pH, TDS(Total Dissolved Solids), and Total Hardness. The function of these threeparameters are to find out the value of standard that has been set level and areconsidered the most influential of the other parameters in the measurement ofclean water quality.
