Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata jumlah larva yang mati yang menggunakan ekstrak etanol daun P. guajava L.lebih banyak dibandingkan menggunakan ekstrak air daun P. guajava L.Kesimpulannya adalah pemberian ekstrak etanol daun P. guajava L. padakonsentrasi 450 ppm dapat meningkatkan mortalitas larva sebanyak 100% selama 30jam setelah perlakuan, sedangkan pemberian ekstrak air daun P. guajava L. padakonsentrasi 450 ppm dapat meningkatkan mortlitas larva sebanyak 70% selama 30jam setelah perlakuan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk kompos (K) yang terdiri atas 4 taraf yaitu kontrol (0 ton/ha), 4,5 kg/pohon (5 ton/ha), 9 kg/pohon (10 ton/ha) dan 13,5 kg/pohon (15 ton/ha) serta faktor pemangkasan (P) yang terdiri atas 2 taraf yaitu tidak dipangkas dan dipangkas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis kompos 13,5 kg/pohon (15 ton/ha) memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap jumlah buah/pohon, jumlah buah normal/pohon dan hasil kakao (kg/ha). Pemangkasan memberikan pengaruh terhadap berat kering biji/buah. Hasil kakao terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan pemberian pupuk kompos 13,5 kg/pohon (15 ton/ha) yang dikombinasikan dengan pemangkasasan.Kata Kunci: Kakao, Kompos, Pemangkasan dan Komponen hasil kakaoABSTRAKThis study aimed to determine the effect of compost fertilizer and pruning as well as the interaction between them to result of cocoa in the District Mila, Pidie which lasted from October 2012 to August 2013. The method used randomized complete block design (RCBD ) 4x2 factorial with 3 replications . The first factor is the dose of compost (K) which consists of 4 levels : control (0 t/ ha) , 4.5 kg/tree (5 t/ha), 9 kg/tree (10 t/ha) and 13.5 kg/tree (15 t/ha ), as well as the Pruning factor (P) which consists of 2 levels: not pruning and pruning. Comparison test of means using Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) at the level of 5%. The results showed that a dose of 13.5 compost kg/ tree (15 t/ha) gives the best effect on the number of fruits/plant, number of normal fruit/tree, and production of cocoa (kg/ha). Pruning give effect to the dry weight of seed/fruit. The performance of diagnostic X-ray machine should be checked to determine if the dose received does not harm a patient and produce a good image and provide diagnostic information in a timely and accurate, therefore there are necessary for quality control activities on the machine X-ray. Factors that affect the dosing and imaging results, among others, the amount of the provision of current and voltage. From the research shows that the value of the output voltage generated is not much different from the value of the input voltage with a percentage value below 5%. The beef cattle fattening in Indonesia is financially and economically beneficial, even though the production process is in an economical condition with various trading policies with others countries. Those including the policies of import tarrif and quota on input that are aimed to have a more expensive price of import input, hence giving the chance for domestic input to compete. These will be an advantage for domestic feedloter, however the result of governmental policy are often far from expectation. Research conducted in West Java. This research used the survey method, with multistage random sampling and analyzed by using the Policy Analysis Matrix model to measure the efficiency of the business performance of beef cattle fattening. Result of the research shows that beef cattle fattening reached financial and economical benefits. Feedloters of local and imported cows in west Java has competitive advantage, local cows is more competitive than imported cows. Meanwhile efficiency indicator shows that feedloters of imported cows has more comparative advantage compared to the feedloters of local cow. As social-economic demands increased, the complexity of family needs grew higher. To fulfill them, woman has to take part in making a living. This research aims to see economical performance of women in running merchant-cart-fried-chicken, identifying the obstacles faced and giving alternatives of solution. This research was conducted by survey method, with respondents of merchant-cart-fried-chicken seller in several markets in Padang city. Sample was taken with proportional allocation of 15 people. Data was analyzed by descriptive analysis method. The research showed that economical performance of women merchant-cart-fried-chicken seller is low with working hour o5 5.07 hours/day. Percentage of women that take part in all activities start from planning to marketing is 32.5%. This is a potential business to develop, with average income 92.259,58 IDR/day and average R/C ratio 1.29. Internal constraints were family relation pattern that scoped women’s part in fulfilling family need, meanwhile the external constraints were the difficulties in acquiring more capital to develop the business and the price fluctuation of chicken as a main raw material. Alternative solution that can be offered was opening the business at home so that women can spare more time to work the business and accessing soft loan with light requirements. The conclusion of the research was that women took part in making a living for the family, however the contribution is low due to patriarchy value as an internal constraint and capital problem as external constraint. The solution offered was taking soft loan and building relation with raw material supplier. Persentase motilitas progresifs permatozoa pada kelompok S4 (39,0±2,33) dan S6 (38,0±2,49) lebih tinggi dibandingkan S0; S1; S2; S3; dan S5 yakni masing-masing 32,0±1,86; 30,0±2,11; 29,0±1,80; 31,5±3,66; dan 34,5±3,02. Persentase motilitas terendah ditunjukkan oleh S7 yaitu 22,0±3,59. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa sari buah tin mampu mempertahankan motilitas progresif spermatozoa kambing dan konsentrasi optimal dicapai pada 4 dan 6%.
