Lokasi yang menjadi penelitian adalah Kecamatan Kuta Alam, studi kasus kawasan gampong Keuramat dan gampong Laksana. Permasalahan pada wilayah kajian adalah:Pengembangan/penggunaan lahan pada kawasan penelitian sudah melebihi daya dukung saluran drainase ditinjau secara visual pada saat musim penghujan; dan, Pengelolaan sistem drainase di kawasan penelitian belum berjalan secara maksimal. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan evaluasi pengelolaan sistem drainase ditinjau dari beberapa aspek, yaitu aspek teknis kinerja sistem drainase perkotaan; aspek kelembagaan; dan peranserta masyarakat. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat. Variabel yang digunakan yaitu: kinerja kelembagaan, manajemen pembangunan, peran pemerintah daerah dalam mendorong peranserta masyarakat, kondisi dan fungsi operasional drainase dan peranserta masyarakat. Analisis hasil penelitian meliputi analisis saluran dan analisis kuesioner. Hasil penelitian berupa kesimpulan dan saran yaitu kinerja sistem drainase di gampong Keuramat dan gampong Laksana belum berfungsi secara optimal, maka diperlukan redesign dan rehabilitasi saluran dengan cara memperhatikan kedalaman air tanah, elevasi muka air saluran dan elevasi sungai agar kelestarian air tanah dapat terjaga; dan, pengelolaan sistem drainase di kawasan penelitian yang belum maksimal, perlu dilakukan evaluasi pengelolaan drainase dengan manajemen perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pemeliharaan hingga monitoring dan evaluasi dengan melibatkan masyarakat, sehingga tercipta partisipasi dalam memelihara dan mengelola drainase di wilayah tempat tinggalnya.Kata kunci: evaluasi, pengelolaan, pemeliharaan, drainase.
