Daya dukung pondasi adalah hal yang paling penting dalam konstruksi pelabuhan. International Hub Port Sabang merupakan suatu kawasan yang sangat strategis untuk Provinsi Aceh khususnya dan Indonesia pada umumnya sebagai jalur sentra perdagangan internasional. Ilmu dasar geoteknik sangat dibutuhkan dalam merencanakan suatu pelabuhan untuk mendapatkan suatu konstruksi bangunan yang aman. Pada dermaga ini digunakan pondasi tiang pancang tempat meyalurkan seluruh beban dermaga atau disebut dengan sistem deck on pile. Tinjauan perencanaan ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan sebuah model terbaik dalam merancang sebuah dermaga dengan memperhatikan daya dukung tanah. Dalam perencanaan ini diambil dermaga CT-3 yang merupakan dermaga terbesar di International Hub Port Sabang. Plaxis merupakan sebuah software yang dapat menganalisis terjadinya deformasi dan stabilitas untuk berbagai aplikasi dalam bidang geoteknik, seperti daya dukung tanah, defleksi dan penurunan. Pada program plaxis dapat dihasilkan penurunan, deformasi dan arah pergerakan tanah. Penurunan, deformasi dan daya dukung izin berdasarkan safety factor yang merupakan output dari program plaxis harus diperhatikan. Dermaga CT-3 memiliki beban maksimun pada tiang pancang sebesar 669,07 ton. Pada perhitungan dengan metode Tomlinson-Broms diperoleh daya dukung izin (Qall) sebesar 671,893 ton. Perencanaan konstruksi aman karena Qall lebih besar daripada beban maksimum. Penurunan dari perhitungan metode Tomlinson-Broms sebesar 0,43 cm, penurunan lebih kecil dari batas toleransi yaitu 2,54 cm dandefleksi pada dermaga sebesar 16,4 cm. Sedangkan pada output plaxis diperoleh penurunan sebesar 5 cm, pada keadaan maksimum penurunan dapat mencapai 41,3 cm dan untuk defleksi sebesar 14,6 cm. Dari hasil perhitungan dan output plaxis perlu dilakukan perubahan dimensi kedalaman dan diameter tiang untuk menstabilkan konstruksi dermaga. Untuk mendapatkan daya dukung yang aman, kedalaman yang disarankan adalah 12 m dari dasar laut dengan diameter tiang pancang sebesar 1,3 m. This research was aimed to study the effect of addition of katuk leaf meal (Sauropus androgynus L. Merr)  in feed on body weight gain and scrotal circumference of male Ettawa grade goat. The research lasted for eight months, starting Agustus 2012 to Maret 2013, with feeding trial for two months. Twenty male Ettawa grade goats of 18 to 24 months old, were divided into 4 treatment groups. Treatment groups were added with 0% Katuk leaf meal (R0);  5% (R1);  10%  (R2) and 15%  (R3), with 5  goats in each replication. Treatment diets were feed in the morning and afternoon for 60 days. Weighing body weight and measuring scrotal circumference was done every week. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and if there was significantly different, the data were further tested using Duncan multiple range test. The result shows that the body weight gain of the treatment were, R0 (2,39 ± 0,43 kg); R1 (2,84 ± 0,36 kg); R2 (2,85 ± 0,20 kg) and R3 (3,42 ± 0,78 kg) respectively. Scrotal circumference were, R0 (0,74 ± 0,10 cm); R1 (1,24 ± 0,26 cm); R2 (1,26 ± 0,40 cm) dan R3 (1,32 ± 0,32 cm) respectively. The result of this research indicated that the addition of katuk leaf meal in feed had significant effects (P<0,05) on body weight gain and scrotal circumference of Ettawa grade goat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan motivasi siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika menggunakan pendekatan matematika realistik dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika secara konvensional, serta mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika menggunakan pendekatan matematika realistik. Penelitian ini merupakan suatu studi kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Lembah Seulawah dengan mengambil sampel dua kelas melalui teknik purposive sampling dari tiga kelas yang tersedia. Instrumen yang digunakan ada tiga macam yaitu tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis berupa soal tes dalam bentuk uraian, angket skala motivasi, dan lembar observasi selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan motivasi siswa antara siswa yang diajarkan dengan pendekatan matematika realistik dan siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional digunakan uji t dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Perencanaan kurikulum dimulai dari pengembangan silabus dengan merancang pembelajaran yang berisi rencana materi ajar, pengelompokan materi, dan penyajian materi hal ini dapat dilihat dari program tahunan, program semester, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, criteria ketuntasan minimal; (2) Pelaksanaan kurikulum yang dilakukan oleh guru untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran yang meliputi penugasan guru, pemberian tugas tambahan, penyusunan jadwal, pembagian rombongan belajar, pengisian absen guru dan siswa, penetapan kegiatan ekstra kurikulur, pelaksanaan ujian dan pengisian rapor dan remedial serta peran guru dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum juga pengambilan keputusan dan mengimplementasikan program pengajaran; (3) Ada hambatan berarti yang dialami kepala sekolah dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum di SMA Negeri 1 Buengcala Kabupaten Aceh Besar. One of a great challenges in malaria controlling program is P.falciparum that has been resistant to the most commonly available antimalarials. New drugs with specific structures and mode of actions are urgently required to treat sensitive and drug-resistant strains of malaria parasites. This study was designed to know the antimalarial activity of the extract of the neem leaves (Azadirachta indica A.Juss) on the growth stages of P. falciparumFCR-3. The experimental laboratoric study used “post-test only with control design”. RPMI 1640 used as culture medium for cultivation of P. falciparum. Treated drug was the extract of neem leaves dissolved in dimethylsulfooxide and prepared into 7 levels concentration (3,125; 6,25; 12,5; 25; 50; 100 and 200 ug/mL). Negative control was culture medium with the malarial parasites. After cultured, synchronized, micromalarialculture were divided into control and treated groups then  incubated in CO2 Candle Jar at 370 C for 72 hour. Each 8 hour the percentage of parasitemia were measured for observing the activity of the extract on the growth stages of P. falciparum. After incubation, supernatant fluid was removed without disturbing the erythrocyte layer. Parasitemia was calculated by made the thin blood smear from the erythrocyte layer and stained with 10% Giemsa for 30 minutes. The antimalarial activity of the extract was calculated by counted the fifty percent of growth inhibition 50 (IC50) using probit analysis. The result showed that the neem leaves extract can inhibit the growth of P. falciparum FCR-3 on mature schizont stage and the fifty percent inhibitory concentration (IC50) of the extract was 3,86 µg/ml after 32 hour incubating. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi belajar dengan indeks prestasi akademik pada mahasiswa PSIK-FK Unsyiah Banda Aceh Tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif korelatif menggunakan desain cross sectional study. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan 26 item pernyataan dalam skala likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik chi-square, hasil penelitian adalah ada hubungan antara hasrat dan keinginan belajar/berhasil (P-value 0,001), dorongan kebutuhan belajar (P-value 0,000), harapan akan cita-cita (P-value 0,000), penghargaan (P-value 0,024), lingkungan belajar yang kondusif (P-value 0,001), kegiatan yang menarik (P-value 0,025) dengan indeks prestasi akademik pada mahasiswa. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara motivasi belajar (P-value 0,000) dengan indeks prestasi akademik pada mahasiswa PSIK-FK Unsyiah Banda Aceh Tahun 2013. Institusi pendidikan disarankan untuk lebih meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana serta kemampuan mahasiswa sehingga menjadi perawat profesional. Catches especially during the harvest tends to be sold by the fishermen to other areas due to lack of knowledge of post-harvest handling. One of the post-harvest processing is the preservation of a cooling system is usually done with the use of cold storage box (cold box) at the Fish Landing Places (TPI). This study aims to get the length of storage time of fish that can maintain a temperature of 0°C to 5°C, by using the 3 kinds of cold storage box is made of wood material, fiber and styrofoam. From the results of testing two methods: the method of fish in the middle of the ice around it and the traditional methods used by the community found that containers with wood coated styrofoam insulation to maintain temperature of 2°C, while the  isolation box storage timber, fiber and styrofoam fish temperature exceeds 2.5°C.
