Results concluded that sucking also chewing pest population in chilli was suppressed significantly in plot B and C where natural enemies were released. Reduction in thrips, aphid, mite and whitefly numbers was found due to release of C. carnae, it was 57.31, 70.86, 65.12 and 80% %, respectively. An impact of C. carnae on tobacco caterpillar population was 53.18%. Gram pod borer and tobacco caterpillar population was observed enormously in untreated plots. Reduction in its population in plot C was found owing to release of T. chilonis, it was 74.14 and 89.38 % when compared to untreated plots. It is concluded from the findings that C. carnae should be released in initial days when sucking complex raised at economic threshold level and T. chiloni release is necessary when crop reached flowers and buds stage</text>

<text>This study uses Aquaphotomics to measure Cadmium (Cd) and Magnesium (Mg) in aqueous solutions by analysing the changes in water spectra that occur due to water-metal interaction. Metals have no absorbance in the NIR spectral range, thus the methods developed so far have focused on detection of metal-organic complexes. Measurements were performed with Cd (II) and Mg(II) in 0.1 M HNO3, in the 680-1090 nm (water second and third overtones) and 1110-1800 nm (water first overtone) spectral regions, and were subjected to partial least-square regression analysis. Metal ions were scanned by NIRSystem 6500 using cuvette cell with 2 mm path length, in three consecutive days. Data for two days were used as data set and the rest of the data were used as prediction set. The calibration and prediction statistics obtained in this study indicated the potential of NIRS to predict metal ions in aqueous 0.1 M HNO3 solution with correlation coefficient (R2pred.>0.7). The RPD (residual predictive deviation) or ratio of standard error of prediction to the standard deviation, values were greater than 2, indicating that the model is appropriate for practical use (Cozzolino,2007). By using water matrix coordinates (WAMACS) from regression coefficient, obtained a consistency specific wavelength for each　metal.. These results showed that the PLS model were able to detect character metal ions in the NIR region of electromagnetic spectra with high accuracy even at very low concentrations (0-10 ppm). </text>

<text>Biodiesel has been shown to be the best substitute for fossil-based fuels to its environmental advantages and renewable resource availability. There is a great demand for the commercialization of biodiesel production, which in turn calls for a technically and economically reactor technology. The production of biodiesel in existing batch and continuous-flow processes requires excess alcohol, typically 100%, over the stoichiometric molar requirement in order to drive the chemical reaction to completion. In this study, a novel reactor system using a reactive distillation (RD) technique was discussed for biodiesel production. RD is a chemical unit operation in which chemical reactions and separations occur simultaneously in one unit. It is an effective alternative to the classical combination of reactor and separation units especially when involving reversible or consecutive chemical reactions such as transesterication process in biodiesel production.</text>

<text>The study is about a method for enhancing the assessment in e-learning. We study summative assessment that enables teachers or examiners to know if their students have reached an appropriate level of knowledge and formative assessment that enables a student to check how well they are performing in learning. This type of assessment takes the form of a more detailed feedback such as in what aspects a student posses strengths as well as where they have weaknesses. We implement a new approach for enhancing assessment in e-learning by building a system that utilizing a user model to capture user’s knowledge of a concept and to keep updating it in their user models. We implement the system by using the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) that were combined with a standard of test called the Question Test of Interoperability (QTI). As the result, more positive and negative feedback can be offered to e-learning users.</text>

<text>ABSTRACTName: Datin Sofiatuddin YusufStudent No.: 0806102050028Study Program: English EducationTitle: Using Card Games in Teaching SpeakingKeywords: Card Games,Speaking AspectsThis study discussed about the use of flash cards game in improving the ability of students in the English especially in speaking skill. The researcher was interested to apply the technique since there was in the second grade of SMPN 12 Banda Aceh the students had some problems in speaking, ranging from the difficulty of transferring the idea toward the interlocutor, lack of vocabulary, bad in pronunciation and comprehension. Moreover, the students were bored with the usual monotonous teaching, and needed more enjoyable and innovative learning. Thus, implementing a card game technique seemed to be one of the best ways in solving those several problems. The implementation of card games technique in the class resulted in some improvement. It was reflected in the difference between their pre-test score and the post-test one. Almost all of the students in that class passed the minimum passing grade score (60). Furthermore, their speaking performance also increased, the percentage of vocabulary mastery increase from 36.11 to 57.92, pronunciation increased from 4.44 to 58.33, their comprehension in speaking also enhanced from 40.27 to 55.55, fluency (30.55 - 51.38), and the impact also represented in their grammar aspect which was only gained 51.31 at the pre-test, but increased significantly into 72.22 at the post-test. Even though there was significant improvement in speaking skill by using this game technique, teacher should pay more attention in controlling the students, since there was a condition where the students would be active in responding the teaching learning process.?</text>
