Jenis Penelitian adalah deskriptif korelatif, dengan desain penelitian cross sectional study melalui pendekatan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 42 pasien ganggren diabetik. Pengumpulan data dengan membagi kuesioner yang terdiri dari 30 item pernyataan dalam skala dichotomy dan 26 item pertanyaan dalam skala Likert. Metode analisis data dengan menggunakan metode chi-square, hasil penelitian adalah ada hubungan antara mekanisme koping perilaku menyerang (P-value 0,037), mekanisme koping perilaku menarik diri (P-value 0,000), mekanisme koping perilaku kompromi (P-value 0,020), mekanisme koping kompensasi (P-value 0,004), mekanisme koping menyangkal (P-value 0,009) dan mekanisme koping pemindahan (P-value 0,001) dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien ganggren diabetik. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara mekanisme koping (P-value 0,001) dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien ganggren diabetik di Poliklinik Endokrin Rumah Sakit Umum daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh Tahun 2013. Some areas of the region (district) still do not get special attention for waste management facilities services from local City Sanitation Department. In this study we raised two villages located on the banks of the Kampar River and examined the management of non-organic domestic waste in this area. We choose Pulau Birandang Village and Alai Village because of the habit this people to throw garbage like non-organic waste (such as paper, plastics, etc) to the Kampar river. This act is very dangerous for the sustainability of water security and can cause silting rivers. The aims of this research to analyze the influence of commercial approach as a solution to solve waste problem in both villages. Commercial approach is the method applied by giving incentives to people who are sort the non-organic waste according to its kind. Data for this study were collected from observation using 80 questionnaires to 80 respondents from both villages, the Pulau Birandang village and Alai village. Results of the analysis is also reinforced by opinión from the leaders of them (people) who are likely to reflect the wishes of the people too. The results from this study is the commercial approach (take and give system) which applied in this villages could increase people's enthusiasm in managing domestic waste by sorting waste before it is collected. Penelitian deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran laju aliran saliva pada penderita gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani terapi hemodialisis di Instalasi Hemodialisis Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 97 orang dengan usia 20-69 tahun. Pemeriksaan laju aliran saliva dilakukan tanpa stimulasi dengan metode spitting. Saliva dikumpulkan ke dalam kontainer penampung saliva setiap 1 menit selama 5 menit. Jumlah saliva yang terkumpul dibagi waktu yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan saliva. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penderita gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani terapi hemodialisis memiliki laju aliran saliva yang rendah (74,2%), diikuti sangat rendah (13,4%), tinggi (7,2%) dan normal (5,2%). CRF patients in Indonesia growing rapidly each year and ussualy need kidney replacement therapy such as hemodialysis. About 65% of CRF patients undergoing hemodialysis showed at least one oral manifestation. One of them is decrease salivary flow rate. Decrease salivary flow rate may lead to change in oral health and quality of live. This descriptive study was aimed to know the representation of salivary flow rate among CRF patients undergoing hemodialysis in Regional General Hospital dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Subject numbered 97 people who aged betwen 20-69 years old. Unstimulated whole salva was collected with spitting method. Saliva was allowed to accumulate in the mouth and the subject spits the collected saliva into a salivary container every 1 minute for 5 minute. Salivary flow rate was measured with counting saliva volume which was collected and divided with the using time to collecting saliva. The result showed the CRF patients undergoing hemodialysis had low salivary flow rate (74,2%), followed by very low salivary flow rate (13,4%), high salivary flow rate (7,2%) dan normal salivary flow rate (5,2 %). Populasi dan sampel penelitian adalah data penderita PPOK Eksaserbasi Akut dengan Pneumonia di ruang rawat inap paru RSUDZA Banda Aceh tahun 2009-2011 sebanyak 28 data (Total sampling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lama rawat inap terbanyak pada pasien PPOK Eksaserbasi Akut dengan Pneumonia adalah 1-10 hari, yaitu sekitar 67,9%. Dadih is traditionally fermented buffalo milk product which is along with lactic acid bacteria (LAB), a diversity of yeast species involved in fermentation process. The existence of yeast in dadih gives positive contribution either in aroma or their role in securing a good product. There were three different dadih origin yeasts involved in this experiment  (Candida curiosa, Brettanomyces custersii and Kluyveromyces lactis.) The objective of this research is   to study more about growth and yeasts role  on dadih fermentation in order to find positive value of yeast to keep  nutritive value of dadih. Completely Randomized Designed used with four treatments. The treatments given was percentage of combined yeast culture which were P0 (buffalo milk + LAB), P1 (buffalo milk + LAB + 0,5% yeast culture), P2 (buffalo milk + LAB + 1,0% yeast culture), and P3 (buffalo milk + LAB + 1,5% yeast culture), by seven replication. The difference effect between treatment was tested by using Duncan’s Multiple Range Test. The Results showed that addition of yeast culture in dadih effect the pH, total of microorganism, degree of  lactic acid, protein and dadih fat significantly. Overall dadih  added with 1% yeast culture (P2) increase 14% degree of protein and decrease 2,7% degree of dadih fat. Research was carried out to study the effect of antimicrobial activity of yeast found in dadih. Yeasts chosen were isolated from dadih (traditionally buffalo milk fermentation). The objective is to know the ability of yeast to inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria in milk. They were Candida curiosa, Brettanomyces custersii, and Kluyveromices lactis. Kluy. lactis has strong antimicrobial on Bacillus subtilis with zone of inhibition ± 5mm, C. curiosa on E.coli (5mm) and C. curiosa and Brett. custersii also have strong antimicrobial on S. aureus consecutively 5,75 and 7 mm. As a conclusion the result showed that all of three yeasts selected have capability to stop the growth of pathogenic bacteria of buffalo milk origin in five days.
