Penelitian ini berdesain eksperimental laboratoris dengan menggunakan metode difusi cakram yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak etanol biji pepaya terhadap hambatan pertumbuhan Streptococccus mutans yang telah dikultur pada media Trypticase-Soy with Sucrose and Bacitracin (TYS20B) dan diinkubasi selama 48 jam pada suhu 37o C dalam suasana anaerob. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam memotivasi belajar fisika siswa si MTsS Lam Ujong Aceh Besar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru fisika dan dan seluruh siswa MTsS Lam Ujong Aceh Besar. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu 2 orang guru fisika dan 25% dari jumlah siswa kelas I, II dan III yaitu berjumlah 85 orang. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap observasi, tahap pemberian angket kepada siswa, tahap wawancara untuk guru fisika dan tahap dokumentasi yang berupa foto yang diambil pada saat proses pembelajaran. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara dan angket siswa. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis melalui tahapan pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian, triangulasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data angket dari 85 orang siswa yaitu 11 item soal menjawab dengan kriteria tinggi, 4 Item soal yang menjawab dengan kriteria cukup tinggi, terdapat 3 item soal yang menjawab dengan kriteria rendah. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan observasi terdapat 4 item soal yang jarang dilaksanakan guru dalam perannya untuk memotivasi belajar siswa yaitu berkaryawisa yang berhubungan dengan fisika, penggunaan alat peraga dalam pembelajaran, penggunaan media LCD, dan penayangan film pendidikan yang berhubungan dengan fisika. Dalam wawancara terdapat 2 indikator yang tidak dilaksanakan guru dalam perannya memotivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan enam perlakuan dan empat ulangan. Setiap kelompok perlakuan kecuali kontrol (P0) diberi paparan EPEC secara oral sebagai penginduksi diare sebanyak 6,0x108CFU/mL selama 7 hari. Perlakuan terdiri atas kontrol tidak diiinfeksi dengan EPEC (P0), kontrol positif yang diinfeksi dengan EPEC tanpa pemberian Nifuroxazide dan air seduhan kelopak bunga rosela(P1). Perlakuan P2,P3, P4 dan P5 dilanjutkan dengan pemberian 500mL/70 kg bb Nifuroxazide (P2), 250 mL/kg bb seduhan kelopak bunga rosela (P3), 500 mL/kg bb seduhan kelopak bunga rosela (P4) dan 750 mL/kg bb seduhan kelopak bunga rosela (P5). Perlakuan diberikan secara oral dari hari ke-8 hingga ke-11 sesuai dengan pemberian antibiotik standar. Parameter yang diamati adalah frekuensi defekasi diamati setiap 30 menit selama 5 jam. Data dianalisis menggunakan ANAVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan air seduhan kelopak rosela mempengaruhi frekuensi defekasi mencit diare akibat EPEC dan dosis terkecil sudah mampu menurunkan frekuensi defekasi dari mencit diare akibat infeksi EPEC.Kata kunci : Hibiscus sabdariffa L., EPEC, Frekuensi defekasiABSTRACTThis study was perfomed to examine the antidiarrhea activities of Hibiscus sabdariffa L. calyx infusion caused by Enterophatogenic Escherichia coli (EPEC) in white mice. Completely randomized design was applied of this research consisted six treatments and four replications of each treatment. Each group were infected orally by 6,0x108CFU/mL of EPEC for 7 days. Control was not infected by EPEC (P0) and infected by EPEC (P1). Antibiotic Nifuroxazide 500 mL/70kg body weight as comparison (P2), and given Hibiscus sabdariffa L. calyx infusion at a dose of 250 mL/kg body weight(P3), 500 mL/kg body weight (P4), and 750 mL/kg body weight (P5). Treatments given orally from 8th to 11th according to standar of antibiotic. Parameter were frequency of defecation observed every 30 minutes for 5 hours. Data analized by ANAVA and continued with Duncan. Salah satu faktor risiko terjadinya hipertensi adalah obesitas. Risiko hipertensi meningkat dengan bertambahnya Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh obesitas terhadap kejadian hipertensi di Polikilinik Penyakit Dalam BLUD RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan menggunakan desain cross sectional yang dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 1 Oktober-5 Desember 2012. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 orang. Data diperoleh melalui rekam medik dan pengukuran langsung terhadap berat badan dan tinggi badan untuk mengetahui Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT). Analisis data dilakukan secara bertahap meliputi analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji chi- suquare. Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik dengan chi-square untuk variabel obesitas menunjukkan nilai probabilitas p(0,000)< ?(0,05). Ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara obesitas dengan kejadian hipertensi di Poliklinik Penyakit Dalam BLUD RSUD dr. Terdapat 26 kasus pelanggaran yang masuk ke Panwaslu Kota Banda Aceh, namun tidak semua kasus diteruskan dan akhirnya terhenti di Panwaslu. Salah satu pelanggaran yang diterima Panwaslu adalah dugaan pelanggaran administrasi dan money politics di Gampong Alue Deah Teungoh Kecamatan Meuraxa dan Gampong Lampaseh Kota Kecamatan Kuta Raja.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja Panwaslu dalam menangani kasus pelanggaran administrasi dan money politics di Gampong Alue Deah Teungoh Kecamatan Meuraxa dan Gampong Lampaseh Kota Kecamatan Kuta Raja serta untuk mengetahui faktor penghambat kinerja tersebut. Data yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui penelitian lapangan dan kepustakaan. Penelitian lapangan dilakukan melalui wawancara informan dan dokumen-dokumen penting dari Panwaslu dan KIP Kota Banda Aceh, sedangkan penelitian kepustakaan dilakukan dengan cara membaca buku teks, peraturan perundang-undangan, dan bahan-bahan bacaan lainnya yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja Panwaslu dalam menangani kasus pelanggaran administrasi dan money politics di Gampong Alue Deah Teungoh Kecamatan Meuraxa dan Gampong Lampaseh Kota Kecamatan Kuta Raja sudah dilakukan dengan maksimal. Panwaslu melakukan empat tahap dalam menangani kasus pelanggaran tersebut, pertama menyelidiki kasus pelanggaran, kedua menangani pelaporan sesuai mekanisme pelaporan, ketiga tindaklanjut pelanggaran ,tahap terakhir melakukan kerjasama dengan penyelenggara pemilu. Ada 2 faktor yang menjadi penghambat kinerja Panwaslu, yaitu faktor eksternal dan internal. Faktor eksternal, adanya tekanan partai politik, pelaporan yang tidak sesuai prosedur dan minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pelanggaran pemilu. There were 26 cases of violations that go to the city of Banda Aceh Election Supervisory Committee, but not all cases forwarded and finally stopped at the Election Supervisory Committee. One violation is received by the Election Supervisory Committee alleged administrative violations and money politics in the Village alue Deah Teungoh Meuraxa and Gampong Lampaseh Kota district of Kuta Raja.This study aims to analyze the performance of the Election Supervisory Committee in dealing with cases of administrative violations and money politics in the Village alue Deah Teungoh Meuraxa and Gampong Lampaseh Kota district of Kuta Raja as well as to determine the performance inhibiting factors.The data required in this study was obtained through field research and literature. Fieldwork was conducted by interviewing informants and important documents of the Election Supervisory Committee and KIP Banda Aceh, while the literature research done by reading textbooks, legislation, and other reading materials related to this research.The results showed that the performance of the Election Supervisory Committee in dealing with cases of administrative violations and money politics in the Village alue Deah Teungoh Meuraxa and Gampong Lampaseh Kota district of Kuta Raja has been done to the maximum. Election Supervisory Committee conducted four stages in dealing with these offenses, the first to investigate cases of violation, the second handle appropriate reporting mechanisms for reporting, the third follow-up of violations, the last stage of cooperation with the organizers of the election. There are two factors that constrain the performance of the Election Supervisory Committee, namely external and internal factors. External factors, the pressure of political parties, which are not appropriate reporting procedures and the lack of public knowledge about the election violations. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh dari kuisioner dan wawancara langsung. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah model regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara serempak faktor luas lahan, modal, tenaga kerja, tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman dan harga jual memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pendapatan usahatani tebu. Secara parsial faktor luas lahan, modal, tenaga kerja, tingkat pendidikan dan harga jual memberi pengaruh yang signifikan, sedangkan faktor pengalaman memberi pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap pendapatan usahatani tebu. Hasil analisis diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,886. Pendapatan pengolahan gula merah lebih tinggi dibandingkan pendapatan usahatani tebu.
