Kelompok A ditransplantasi menggunakan metode autograft dan kelompok B ditransplantasi menggunakan metode isograft. Luka transplantasi selanjutnya dioleskan gentamicin 0,1% lalu diperban dengan kassa steril sampai 7 hari dengan total 3 perban pada hari 0, 3, 6. Benang akan dilepas pada hari ke 7 setelah dilakukan transplantasi. Penilaian penyembuhan luka dilakukan berdasarkan pengamatan makroskopis dengan memperhatikan tingkat kemerahan pada luka, pertautan tepi luka, tes warna kulit, dan tes sensasi nyeri. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kemerahan pada luka lebih terlihat pada kelompok perlakuan isograft. Pertautan tepi luka juga menunjukkan perbedaan waktu antara autograft dan isograft. Tes warna kulit menunjukkan perubahan warna dengan menekan kulit transplant pada hari ke- 2 dan ke- 3. Tes sensasi nyeri dengan menusukkan jarum ke organ transplant menunjukkan respon yang sangat buruk. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa efektivitas transplantasi untuk tujuan bedah kosmetik pada anjing lokal dapat digunakan walaupun tes rasa nyeri menunjukkan hasil yang kurang baik, dan penyembuhan luka transplantasi juga dalam tingkat yang baik. An ecological study of aquatic weed for biomonitoring trophic status of water reservoir system was conducted in Rawa Pening Water Reservoir, Ambarawa, Semarang Regency. This research was conducted from February to October 2006. Variables of study were taken from nine selected observation stations representing upstream, middle, and downstream both in wet season and dry season. The study was aimed to investigate the diversity of aquatic weed in Rawa Pening Water Reservoir at the three zones in both season in order to obtain bioindicator for trophic status of water reservoir ecosystem. The analysis on community structure of aquatic weed was carried out by describing data on the diversity of aquatic weed species. The similarity of aquatic weed characteristics among zones was analyzed on the basis of average similarity dendogram. The variation of water quality and aquatic weed characteristics among stations was analyzed using multivariate analysis based on the analysis of main component, while spatial distribution of aquatic weed was analyzed using correspondence factorial analysis. Based on the variation of characteristics of water quality, Rawa Pening Water Reservoir belongs to eutrophic status. Low diversity of aquatic weed in Rawa Pening Water Reservoir both in wet season and dry season (12 species) was observed. The dominant species in both season were Eichhornia crassipes and Salvinia natans. Other species found were Hydrilla verticillata, Pistia stratiotes, Chara sp., Nitella sp., Ipomoea aquatic, Cyperus cephalotes, C. pilosus, Alternanthera philoxeroides, Nymphoides indica, and Sacciolepis interrupta. Both in wet season and dry season, spatial distribution on the basis of aquatic macrophyte weed was evenly distributed and had grouping pattern of sufficienly high similarity (> 70%). The research was carried out at the University of Syiah Kuala from September 2007 to November 2007. Fermented cacao beans as raw material for the research were collected from farmers in Seureuke, Aceh Utara. Cacao fat was extracted from the powder by pressing them at high pressure. Remaining fat in the powder was further reduced by organic solvent extraction to approximately 4 percent to meet the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The cacao powder was alkalized with variation treatments of potassium carbonate concentration of 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 percent and alkalization time of 15, 30 and 45 minutes. The experiment was designed according to randomized factorial design with three replications.Alkalization had affected pH and solubility of cacao powder significantly. pH of the powder increased proportionally as followed the function of y=0.35x + 5.00. The effect of alkalization to the solubility was quadratic with a function of y= -16.34x2 + 76.93x – 60.60. The maximum solubility of 30% was reached at the concentration of potassium carbonate of 2.35%.The alkalization affected the colour hue L* of the cacao powder. Addition of potassium carbonate and time of alkalization had a significant effect but no effect on the interaction. The effect of potassium carbonate and time of alkalization followed the function of y= -4.39x + 42.17 and y= -0.13x + 35.17 respectively. Aroma of alkalized cacao powder was better than commercial products from the market. This process is done in bubble column reactor with Aspergillus niger yeast. The objective of this research is to find the optimum conditions of initial pH and total sugar concentration. The optimization method used was response surface methodology. This research was carried out at a temperature of 30 oC, spore concentration of 1.23 x 109 spore/ml, total volume 2.0 liter, flow rate of air 58.07 cc/sec and a 5% antifoam concentration. The fermentation process lasted 7 days and the citric acid concentration was analyzed by High Pressure Liquid Cromatography (HPLC) method. Statistica 6 software was used for the data treatment.
