Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Kimia, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Syiah Kuala pada bulan Agustus 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap non faktorial dengan lima taraf perlakuan konsentrasi (0; 5; 10; 15 dan 20 ppm) dan empat kali ulangan. Organisme uji yang digunakan adalah organisme sasaran ikan mujair (O. mossambicus) dan non sasaran ikan bandeng (C. Chanos Forsk) sebanyak 10 ekor per wadah uji. Hasil uji TSK (Trimmed Spearman-Karber) menunjukkan nilai LC50 O. mossambicus sebesar 17,32 ppm dengan batas bawah 14,95 ppm dan batas atas 20,07 ppm serta nilai LC50 C. chanos Forsk sebesar 18,17 ppm dengan batas bawah 14,60 ppm dan batas atas 22,61 ppm. Hasil perhitungan selektivitas menunjukkan nilai 1,04 yang menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak metanol buah takokak termasuk kategori selektif sebagai pisissida terhadap ikan mujair (O. mossambicus). Pengaplikasian ekstrak metanol buah takokak (S. torvum Sw.) terhadap ikan mujair (O. mossambicus) tidak disarankan pada tambak pemeliharaan ikan bandeng (C. chanos Forsk) setelah tebar benih.Kata kunci : Ekstrak S. torvum Sw., O. mossambicus, C. chanos Forsk, pisissida, mortalitas, LC50, selektivitas.?ABSTRACTThe objective of this research was to number of selectivity in concentration methanol extract of Solanum torvum to tilapia fish (Oreochromis mossambicus) like as a target of organism sample test and milkfish (Chanos chanos Forsk) like as a non-target of organism sample test and can determine the application in accordance with their level of selectivity of the methanol extract of the takokak (S. torvum Sw.) on the maintenance of milkfish (C. chanos Forsk). The research was conducted at chemistry laboratory of Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Syiah Kuala University on August 2014. This research was designed using completely randomized design, non factorial with five treatments of concentration (0; 5; 10; 15 dan 20 ppm) and four repetitions. The test organism was tilapia fish (O. mossambicus) as target and milkfish (C. chanos Forsk) as non target organism, it was used 10 individus of each container. The Trimmed Spearman-Karber program showed the LC50 of tilapia fish (O.mossambicus) was 17.32 ppm with the lower confidence was 14.95 ppm and the upper confidence was 20.07 ppm, while the LC50 of milkfish (C. chanos Forsk) was 18.17 ppm with the lower confidence was 14.60 ppm and the upper confidence was 22.61 ppm. The selectivity value was 1.04, it was proven that the methanol extract of S. torvum Sw. was category selective as piscicide to tilapia fish (O. mossambicus). Sc.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya hambat dan pengaruh perbedaan konsentrasi madu hutan (Poliflora) Aceh terhadap Staphylococcus aureus secara in vitro serta untuk mengetahui interaksi yang terjadi dari berbagai madu hutan (Poliflora) Aceh dengan perbedaan konsentrasi yang diberikan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli sampai dengan Agustus 2014 di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Akademi Analis Kesehatan (AAK) di Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial dengan perlakuan terdiri atas kontrol negatif (diberi NaCl 0,85%), kontrol positif (antibiotik ciprofloxacin), madu hutan dengan konsentrasi 25%, 50%, 75% dan 100% dengan enam ulangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental laboratorium dan pengujian dengan metode difusi agar menggunakan kertas Blank Disc. Parameter yang diamati adalah diameter zona hambat dari berbagai madu hutan, pengaruh perbedaan konsentrasi terhadap daya hambat yang ditimbulkan dan interaksinya terhadap Staphylococcus aureus secara in vitro. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa madu hutan (Poliflora) Aceh mempunyai daya hambat yang berbeda terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus secara in vitro. Madu hutan yang berasal dari Seulawah memiliki rata-rata diameter zona hambat terbesar. Semakin tinggi konsentrasi madu yang diberikan, maka semakin besar daya hambat yang terbentuk terhadap Staphylococcus aureus dan terdapat interaksi antara jenis madu hutan (Poliflora) Aceh dengan konsentrasi yang diberikan terhadap kemampuan menghambat pertumbuhan Staphylococcus aureus.Kata Kunci : Uji Sensitivitas Madu, Daya Hambat, dan Staphylococcus aureus. Pellet is a kind of solidified and mechanically compressed feed. Problem frequently rise is that pellet shape is easily damaged, brittle, and broken during production, transportation and storage processing. The purpose this study was to know the influence of onggok addition as binding agent with 5% water spraying on the physical characteristic of pellet form ration.The data were analyzed by analyzed of variance and the significant experiment results would be examined by orthogonal contrast test. The treatments consist from the first experiment were: A1 = basal ration + 0% spraying water, A2 = basal ration + 5% spraying water, A3 = basal ration + 10% spraying water and A4 = basal ration + 15% spraying water. The best result from the first experiment would be used for the second experiment, the treatments second experiment were: R1 = basal ration + 5% spraying water + 0% onggok, R2 = basal ration + 5% spraying water + 2% onggok, R3 = basal ration + 5% spraying water + 4% onggok and R4 = basal ration + 5% spraying water + 6% onggok.The parameters were water content, water activity, specific gravity, loose bulk density, compressed bulk density, angle of repose, modulus of fineness, average particle sizes and the durability of pellet form. The conclusion of the experiment that added of onggok as binder significant influenced of the characteristic physical pellet, i.e.: increased loose bulk density, compressed bulk density, modulus of fineness, average particle sizes, and durability of pellet, but decreased specific gravity, water content, angle of repose and water activity. Namun pada saat penyiraman tanaman tersebut yaitu pagi dan sore hari matahari tidak dapat menyuplai energi sehingga dibutuhkan media penyimpanan energi agar penyiraman tanaman dapat dilakukan pada saat dibutuhkan. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempermudah para petani dalam mengelola tanaman mereka dengan memanfaatkan teknologi pompa. Selain itu diharapkan biaya yang harus dikeluarkan para petani untuk memanfaatkan teknologi pompa lebih sedikit. Kemudian dengan adanya teknologi pompa air tenaga surya ini para petani dapat mengelola lahan pertanian mereka dengan skala yang lebih besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan karakterisitik, kandungan metabolit sekunder dan aktivitas sitotoksik fraksi etanol daun kersen. Pengujian aktivitas sitotoksik fraksi etanol daun kersen dilakukan secara in vitro menggunakan metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fraksi etanol daun kersen memiliki kadar air 16,68%, kadar sari larut dalam air 41,45%, kadar sari larut dalam etanol 81,69%, kadar abu total 1,5%, dan kadar abu tak larut asam 1,14%. Fraksi etanol daun kersen mengandung metabolit sekunder alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin dan memiliki aktivitas sitotoksik yang berpotensi sebagai antikanker dengan nilai LC50 634,11 ppm.
