Hampir semua provinsi di Indonesia memproduksi kedelai dimana produksi kedelai mengalami penurunan setiap tahunnya. Salah satu cara pemisahan mekanis yang banyak diaplikasikan adalah dengan sentrifugasi, dimana sari dari bubur akan terlempar keluar melewati saringan sehingga ampas akan tertinggal. Salah satu mesin pemisah mekanis adalah spinner yang dapat diaplikasikan untuk pemisahan sari kedelai dengan ampasnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji kinerja spinner sebagai peniris mekanis untuk pemisahan sari kedelai dengan ampasnya. Tahap awal penelitian didahului dengan pembuatan bubur kedelai yang meliputi pengadaan bahan baku berupa kacang kedelai sekitar 2,5 kg untuk setiap perlakuan per hari (selama 6 hari percobaan). Selanjutnya kacang kedelai dilakukan proses pencucian dan perendaman dengan air bersih selama 8 jam. Kacang kedelai yang telah direndam kemudian dicuci kembali dan selanjutnya dilakukan proses pengupasan kulit ari secara manual. Kacang kedelai yang telah bersih kemudian dilakukan proses pengecilan ukuran dengan blender, dimana perbandingan antara kedelai dan air adalah 1:2 (satu banding dua) dengan proses penggilingan dilakukan selama 2 menit. Bubur kacang kedelai hasil penggilingan selanjutnya dituangkan kedalam drum plastik dan ditimbang sebanyak 5 kg. Bubur kedelai ditimbang sebanyak 5 kg setiap pemisahan menggunakan spinner. Kain kasa diletakkan di tabung silinder dan kemudian bubur kedelai dituangkan ke dalam silinder yang dilapisi kain kasa. Setiap pengujian dilakukan pengulangan sebanyak 3 kali. Pengujian ini menggunakan dua puli 7 inchi dan 10 inchi yang masing-masing rpm yaitu 680 rpm dan 441 rpm dengan waktu pemisahan 2 menit, 5 menit, dan 8 menit. Sari kedelai yang telah dipisahkan dengan spinner ditampung dengan menggunakan ember. Sari kedelai selanjutnya ditimbang, begitu juga dengan ampasnya. Sari kedelai diambil sampel sebanyak 500 ml untuk dilihat padatannya dengan cara pengendapan (sedimentasi) selama 24 jam.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kapasitas rata-rata spinner tipe putar sentrifugal dengan puli 7 inchi dan 10 inchi dengan putaran masing-masing 680 rpm dan 441 rpm terhadap waktu penirisan 2 menit, 5 menit, dan 8 menit dengan total nilai masing-masing yaitu 60,53 kg/jam dan 55,25 kg/jam. Pada perhitungan randemen menunjukkan bahwa nilai total rata-rata rendemen penirisan sari kedelai dengan menggunakan mesin ini mencapai 65,73 %. Selanjutnya berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui persentase kehilangan hasil penirisan kacang kedelai setelah penggilingan dengan nilai total rata-rata menggunakan mesin peniris mekanis tipe putar sentrifugal dengan puli 7 inchi dan 10 inchi terhadap waktu penirisan 2 menit, 5 menit, dan 8 menit mencapai 0,63 %. Disimpulkan KHM infusum bunga Syzygium aromaticum adalah 1,56% sedangkan KBM tidak ditemukan. The purpose of this study was to determine the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and Minimum bactericid Concentration (MBC) of infusum Syzygium aromaticum againts S. mutans. This research is an experimental research laboratory. MIC and MBC test is done by serial dilution method. The results showed infusum MIC infusum Syzygium aromaticum is in the concentration of 1.56% and there is no MBC infusum Syzygium aromaticum against S. mutans. Statistical analysis using Kruskall-Wallis test showed growth inhibition of S. mutans most significant is the concentration of 1.56%, 3.125%, 6.25%, 12.5%, 25%, 50%, and 100%. Concluded that the MIC infusum Syzygium aromaticum flower is 1.56% but the MBC was not found. The higher concentration of Syzygium aromaticum infusum used is the greater ability to inhibit the growth of S. mutans. Humans are not able to survive for 4-5 days without drinking . This study aims to determine the water quality in use as a raw material and water in the production of drinking water refill depot in the Sabang based microbiological requirements . Water samples used were raw water and drinking water refill obtained fromentire depot refill drinking water in the city of Sabang as many as 12 samples , the MPN method 5-1-1 series conducted three stages : presumtif test ,confermed and completed test. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif laboratorik dengan pendekatan konsensual. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan uji Most Probable Number pada air PDAM Tirta Daroy di 4 Kelurahan di Kecamatan Kuta Alam dan tangki induk PDAM untuk menghitung jumlah bakteri E. coli per 100 mL sampel air. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tidak terdapat bakteri E. coli pada seluruh sampel air PDAM Tirta Daroy. Hal ini menunjukkan proses desinfeksi pada pengolahan air baku pada tangki induk PDAM Tirta Daroy di Lambaro telah dilakukan dengan baik dan kemungkinan tidak terjadi kebocoran pipa distribusi. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah air PDAM Tirta Daroy yang didistribusikan ke 4 Kelurahan di Kecamatan Kuta Alam Kota Banda Aceh tidak tercemar bakteri E. coli.Contamination of drinking water by the bacterium Escherichia coli can cause diseases in humans such as diarrhea, urinary tract infection, sepsis, and meningitis. PDAM water can be contaminated by E. coli if there is an error in the processing and distribution pipeline leak. The purpose of this study was to determine the presence of E. coli bacteria in PDAM Tirta Daroy water distributed to 4 Villages in Kuta Alam district in Banda Aceh. This study is a descriptive research laboratory with a consensual approach. In this research, the PDAM Tirta Daroy water in 4 villages in the district of Kuta Alam and holding tank water companies were tested with Most Probable Number method to calculate the number of bacteria E. coli per 100 mL water sample. The results of this study show there is no E. coli bacteria on all PDAM Tirta Daroy water samples. It shows the process of disinfection in the treatment of raw water in the holding tank of PDAM Tirta Daroy Lambaro has done well and is unlikely to happen distribution pipeline leak. Benda uji yang digunakan sebanyak 120 benda uji. Benda uji dibuat menggunakan jenis semen PCC, serta menggunakan campuran 1:3 dengan FAS 0,4 untuk campuran 40% (K) : 60% (AS), 50% (K) : 50% (AS) dan 60% (K) : 40% (AS). Pembuatan bata beton dengan campuran kertas dan abu sekam tersebut dilakukan dengan proses pemadatan dari 140% menjadi 100% volume bata beton dengan campuran kertas dan abu sekam, ukuran 5x10x20 ?cm?^3untuk bata tunggal dan ukuran 5x10 x10 ?cm?^3 untuk bata berpasangan dengan tebal siar 1cm. Pengeringan bata beton dengan campuran kertas dan abu sekam dilakukan didalam ruangan (terlindung). Hasil pengujian kuat tekan bata beton dengan campuran kertas dan abu sekam menunjukkan bahwa bata tersebut tidak memenuhi syarat-syarat kekuatan bata menurut SNI-030348-1989 dan NI-10,1978:6. Nilai kuat tekan bata beton dengan campuran kertas dan abu sekam tunggal dengan perbandingan 40% (K) : 60% (AS) sebesar 11,60 kg/cm2, kemudian nilai kuat tekan dengan perbandingan 50% (K) : 50% (AS) naik menjadi 14,35 kg/cm2, dan nilai kuat tekan dengan perbandingan 60% (K) : 40% (AS) turun menjadi 12,58 kg/cm2. Nilai kuat tekan bata beton dengan campuran kertas dan abu sekam berpasangan dengan perbandingan 40% (K) : 60% (AS) sebesar 4,86 kg/cm2, kemudian nilai kuat tekan dengan perbandingan 50% (K) : 50% (AS) naik menjadi 4,94 kg/cm2, dan nilai kuat tekan dengan perbandingan 60% (K) : 40% (AS) turun menjadi 4,69 kg/cm2. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bata kertas dan abu sekam masih belum memenuhi persyaratan SNI-030348-1989, karena kuat tekannya kurang dari 21 kg/cm2.
