This research was conducted at the plastic house, Syiah Kuala University farm, from March to July 2013. Experiments using a completely randomized design (CRD) non- factorial, consisting of 5 varieties of upland rice and 3 varieties of lowland rice  with 3 replications in each condition, flooded and not flooded conditions. Observations on plant height, number of productive tillers, days to flowering, days to harvesting, panicle length, number of grains per panicle, percentage of grain contains per panicle, grain weight per clum and weighs 100 grains. Data were analyzed to determine the variability, heritability, genetic gain, limits the selection, the correlation and appearance changes. The results showed wide variability genetic in flooded conditions on plant height, number of productive tillers and panicle length, while the not flooded conditions wide genetic variability present in plant height, days to flowering, days to harvesting, panicle length, and the percentage of grains contains per panicle. High heritability values found in all the characters except the percentage of grain containing per panicle in flooded conditions. Genetic gain ranging from high to low at 30 % selection intensity. Plant height was negatively correlated to the number of productive tillers, correlated positively to the character of panicle length and number of grains per panicle. Character number of productive tillers negatively correlated to the character of flowering and correlated positively to the character of the grain weight per clum. Varieties Inpago 6 is a variety with an average change in the appearance of the low.Keyword : Varieties, genetic parameters, different conditionsABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi dan mendapatkan nilai duga parameter genetik beberapa varietas padi pada kondisi media berbeda. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di rumah plastik kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala dari Maret sampai Juli 2013. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial, terdiri atas 5 varietas padi gogo dan 3 varietas padi sawah dengan 3 ulangan pada masing-masing kondisi, yaitu kondisi tergenang dan kondisi tidak tergenang. Pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan produktif, umur berbunga, umur panen, panjang malai, jumlah gabah per malai, persentase gabah berisi per malai, bobot gabah isi per rumpun dan bobot 100 butir. Data pengamatan dianalisis  untuk mengetahui keragaman, heritabilitas, kemajuan genetik harapan, batas seleksi, korelasi antar karakter dan perubahan penampilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keragaman genetik luas pada kondisi tergenang terdapat pada karakter tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan produktif dan panjang malai sedangkan pada kondisi tidak tergenang keragaman genetik luas terdapat pada karakter tinggi tanaman, umur berbunga, umur panen, panjang malai, dan persentase gabah berisi per malai. Nilai heritabilitas tinggi terdapat pada semua karakter kecuali persentase gabah berisi per malai pada kondisi tergenang. Kemajuan genetik harapan bervariasi mulai dari tinggi hingga rendah pada intensitas seleksi 30%. Karakter tinggi tanaman berkorelasi negatif terhadap jumlah anakan produktif, berkorelasi positif terhadap karakter panjang malai dan jumlah gabah per malai. Karakter jumlah anakan produktif berkorelasi negatif terhadap karakter umur berbunga dan berkorelasi positif terhadap karakter bobot gabah berisi per rumpun.                 <text>The study aimed to investigate the effects of drying temperature and time to potato starch variety of Granola. Recently, the starch is often used as a raw material for food, pharmaceutical and non-food industries such as textiles, packaging, detergent, etc. Because of unpreserved nature of fresh potato and its quality still reduced during storage, the research was conducted to process potato into semi-finished product in form of starch that expected will enhance the stability during storage, and shipping. The research design used was completely randomized design (CRD) factorial consist of 2 factors. The first factor was the drying temperature (T) consists of 3 levels i.e T1 = 40oC, T2=50oC, and T3 = 60oC. The second factor was drying time (L) consists of 3 levels i.e L1 = 5 hr, L2=6 hr, and L3 = 7 hr. Combination of the treatments was 3 x 3 = 9 with 3 replications, in order to obtain 27 units of the experiment. The analysis of potato starch was made to measure yield, moisture, starch and ash contents, as well as starch brighness. The results showed that drying temperature (T) was highly significant effected to starch yield, moisture, ash content, and starch brighness. While, drying time (L) has significantly effected on moisture and starch brighness. The interaction between temperature and time were not significantly effected to yield, moisture, starch, ash contents, as well as starch brighness. Based on the results, the best quality of potato starch was obtained from the treatment of drying temperature (T1= 40oC) and drying time (L1=5 hr) with the following characteristics: yield (3.61%), moisture content (16.40%), starch content (82.09%), ash content (0.57%), and starch brighness about 54.61%. </text>

This research is conducted at Tunyang village of Timang Gajah subdistrict of  Bener Meriah district, Aceh provice from march to July  and the reasearch used randomized block design (RBD)  factorial 12 treatment combine with 3 replications, so there are 36 experimental units. As factor was the experiment of green manure Thitonia by dose of 0 ton per hectare ( T0), 5 tonnes per hectare (T), 10 tonnes per hectare (T2) and 15 tonnes per hectare ( T3) while dose of inorganic fertilizer NPK  were  400 kilogram per hectaer ( P1), 800 kilogram per hectaer (P2) and 1.200 kilogram per hectaer (P3) . Result of research shows green manure Thitonia affected significantly wet weight of wheat biomass , no real effected on height of wheat on age 15, 30, 45 days after planting , percentage of flowering age 43-50, 51-58 and 59-66 days after planting, length of panicle, number of grain per panicle, dry weight of biomass wheat, weight of grain wheat per hill, weight of grain per plot , wheat harvest per hectare and weight of grain wheat 1000. Thitonia green fertilizer is best found at 15 tonnes per hectare ( T3). Inorganic fertilizer NPK affected significantly on the weight of wet and dry wheat biomass, no real effected on height of wheat on age 15, 30 and 45 days after planting, the percentage of flowering age 43-50, 51-58 and 59-66 days after planting, length of panicle wheat, number of grains per panicle, weight of grain wheat per hill, weight of grain wheat per plot , wheat harvest per hectare and weight of grain wheat 1000 . Inorganic fertilizer NPK is best encountered at 1.200 kilogram per hectare ( P3 ). The highst wheat yield of treatment combine is found on T2P3 by the yield is 1.75 ton per hectare.                 <text>“Minyak kemenyan” is one of Aceh’s unique products made from “pliek u” oil that is coconut oil produced traditionally from fermented coconut. Process in making minyak kemenyan is still traditional using main raw material pliek u oil, benzoe, and pleasant smell herbal which resulted in specific scent of minyak kemenyan. The oil is believed by Acehnese can cure some diseases and often use as a medicinal oil.The aim of this research is to study effects of using variety of vegetable oils (pliek u oil, hot extracted copra oil, and palm oil), and scented herbal concentration on the quality of minyak kemenyan. A randomized block design arranged factorially with three replicates was used. Product analysis were acid value, peroxide value, ester value, and sensory evaluation on smell and color of minyak kemenyan.Traditional purifying process of pliek u oil, and copra oil decreased the acid, peroxide, and iodine values of the oils. Whereas scented herbal concentration caused no significant effect on any quality values of minyak kemenyan. Processing the vegetable oils into minyak kemenyan caused slightly increased in the acid and iodine values, but significantly decreased the peroxide value of that made from pliek u oil. The best treatment was minyak kemenyan produced using pliek u oil with acid value of 6.20 mg KOH/g, peroxide value of 18,20 mgO2/100g sampel, iodine value of 4.53 Iod/100 g, ester value of 173.96 mg NaOH/g, smell and color prefered by panelist with scores of 3.0 (=ordinary) and 3.6 (=like), respectively.Keywords: traditional product, “minyak kemenyan”, “pliek u oil”, benzoe, scented herbal</text>

                <text>Persentase biji alpukat mencapai 17-39% dari total bobot satu buah alpukat (Persea gratissima Gaertn). Berdasarkan produksi alpukat di Propinsi Aceh pada tahun 2011 sebesar 7.462 ton, maka potensi limbah biji alpukat mencapai 1.268,54 ton/tahun. Kandungan pati yang tinggi pada biji alpukat memungkinkan pemanfaatan limbah biji alpukat menjadi tepung. Namun dalam pengolahannya terjadi reaksi pencokelatan. Perendaman biji dalam larutan natrium metabisulfit (Na2S2O5) dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah reaksi pencokelatan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama perendaman biji alpukat dalam larutan Na2S2O5 terhadap mutu tepung biji alpukat yang dihasilkan.Bahan yang digunakan adalah biji alpukat, yang diperoleh dari pedagang jus buah di kawasan Kota Banda Aceh dan Kabupaten Aceh Besar, air dan Na2S2O5. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial dengan tiga kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah lama perendaman dalam larutan Na2S2O5 (N) dengan konsentrasi 3.000 ppm yang terdiri dari lima taraf, yaitu: N1= 0 menit, N2= 15 menit, N3= 30 menit, N4= 45 menit dan N5= 60 menit. Analisa mutu tepung yang dihasilkan pada setiap perlakuan meliputi analisis rendemen, densitas curah, kadar air, kadar abu, derajat keasaman (pH) dan uji kesukaan terhadap warna dan aroma. Data yang diperoleh, dianalisa menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT).Mutu tepung biji alpukat yang dihasilkan memiliki nilai rerata rendemen sebesar 12,37%, densitas curah 0,45 g/cm3, kadar air 9,75%, kadar abu 1,25% dan pH 7,45. Rerata skor kesukaan terhadap warna adalah 6 (agak suka) dan aroma adalah 4 (agak tidak suka). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lama perendaman dalam larutan Na2S2O5 berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap rendemen, densitas curah, kadar air, kadar abu dan organoleptik warna. Sedangkan derajat keasaman (pH) dan organoleptik aroma dipengaruhi secara nyata oleh perlakuan perendaman dalam larutan Na2S2O5. Berdasarkan hasil uji lanjut BNT dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlakuan terbaik adalah perendaman selama 15 menit dalam larutan Na2S2O5, dimana pada perlakuan ini diperoleh nilai pH 7,57 rendemen 12,75%, densitas curah 0,42 g/cm3, kadar air 10,78%, kadar abu 1,17% dan skor kesukaan terhadap warna dan aroma masing-masing adalah 6 dan 4.</text>

Di Provinsi Aceh sendiri kerusakan berupa hancurnya infrastruktur di kawasan pantai barat maupun pantai timur aceh dan hilangnya mata pencaharian masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini menganalisa faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi tingkat produktivitas tambak pasca tsunami dan merumuskan strategi pengembangan yang dapat diterapkan dalam meningkatkan produktivitas tambak pasca tsunami. Data yang digunakan berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, adapun alat bantu analisis yaitu tabel IFAS (Internal Strategic Factors Analysis Summary), tabel EFAS (Eksternal Strategic Factors Analysis Summary), dan matriks SWOT (Strenght-Weakness-Opportunity-Threats Matrix). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor internal yang paling mempengaruhi yaitu kondisi dan letak geografis tambak dan pengadaan benih dengan kualitas benih yang belum terjamin. Sedangkan faktor eksternalnya yaitu pangsa pasar masih tinggi dan terjadinya alih fungsi lahan. Hasil pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan matriks SWOT menghasilkan tujuh alternatif strategi, dimana hasil prioritas utama adalah meningkatkan kapasitas potensi hasil produk budidaya dan mengoptimalkan kebijakan pemerintah dalam pengembangan budidaya dengan total bobot yaitu 1,88 dan selanjutnya diikuti dengan alternatif strategi lainya. Sedangkan pada pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan hitungan analisis SWOT dengan membuat diagram posisi, dimana kondisi usaha tambak udang windu dan ikan bandeng di Kecamatan Syiah Kuala Kota Banda Aceh berada pada kuadran I yaitu strategi agresif.Kata kunci: Strategi, Produktivitas, SWOTSTRATEGIES FOR INCREASING PRODUCTIVITY IN TSUNAMI POND IN SUBDISTRICTS SYIAH KUALA BANDA ACEHBYMailul Izzah/Agribusiness Department of UnsyiahABSTRACKAn earthquake followed by a tsunami wave exposure has caused tremendous damage to people's lives and property around the coastal areas in Aceh Province . The purpose of this study to analyze internal and external factors that affect the level of productivity of the farm after the tsunami and formulate development strategies that can be applied to improve the productivity of the pond after the tsunami . The data used in the form of primary data and secondary data . The analytical method used is descriptive analysis with qualitative and quantitative approaches , while the analysis tool is table IFAS ( Internal Strategic Factors Analysis Summary ) table EFAS ( External Strategic Factors Analysis Summary ) , and matrix SWOT (Strength - Weakness - Opportunity - Threats Matrix ) . The results showed that the internal factors which most affect pond conditions and geographical location and procurement of seed with the seed quality is not guaranteed . While external factors are still high market share and the land use . The results of a qualitative approach using the SWOT matrix produced seven alternative strategies , where the results first priority is to increase the capacity of the potential for aquaculture products and optimize the results of government policy in the development of cultivation with a total weight of 1.88 and is subsequently followed by other strategic alternatives .                 <text>Sweet potato is considered as an important food crop and it is known as one of the most productive carbohydrate-producing crop. This crop requires less inputs and water in comparison to rice, corn, or potato. Its wide adaptation to various agro ecological conditions has made sweet potato as a promising crop for saving life particularly during food (rice) shortage. The crop contained higher vitamin (A) and minerals that could help women and children aged below five preventing certain diseases. However, the nutritional value of sweet potato is various from one cultivar to another. It was assumed that geographical and environmental factors would influence the nutritional value of the tubers. Therefore, the following study was investigating the nutritional value of local cultivars in Aceh Besar District. Total carotenoid content of sweet potato varied from 1.86to 3.06 mg 100g-1 DM. The highest carotenoid was recorded by cv. Keupila  from Saree Sub-district. </text>

                <text>Cacao (Theobroma cacao) is one of the product commodities in Aceh and its production continues to increase every year. Parts of cocoa that have economic value are the seed, while the skin that is a waste of processing cocoa beans is often not utilized. Cocoa skin can cause environmental pollution problems. One way of handling waste is to extract cocoa skin becomes pectin. Known in the food industry pectin compounds is very important adjuvant because it is able to increase the viscosity of the fluid and form a gel with sugar and acid. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of pectin addition from cacoa skin waste on the quality of pineapple jam. There are four levels of the pectin addition in this study; 0, 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5%. Then the resulted pineapple jam was analysed; moisture content, total of dissolved solids, acidity, a smear of jam and hedonic sensory evaluation for appearance, aroma, flavor, texture and all vallue. The addition of pectin from cocoa waste have effects on moisture content, total of dissolved solids, pH value and a smear of jam of pineapple jam.                 <text>Dalam Pasal 88 ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2003 tentang Ketenagakerjaan disebutkan bahwa setiap pekerja berhak mendapatkan penghasilan yang layak untuk kemanusiaan. Namun, dalam kenyataannya masih ditemukan adanya pelanggaran terhadap pekerja khususnya pekerja outsourcing yang masih  mendapatkan upah  di bawah standar upah minimum, sebagaimana yang terjadi pada sebagian pekerja outsourcing di PT Lafarge Cement Indonesia.Tujuan penulisan skripsi ini untuk menjelaskan bagaimana perlindungan hukum terhadap pekerja outsourcing di PT Lafarge Cement Indonesia dalam pemenuhan upah yang layak, faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya upah pekerja outsourcing di PT Lafarge Cement Indonesia dan upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh pekerja ousourcing di PT Lafarge Cement Indonesia untuk mendapatkan haknya sebagai pekerja dalam pemenuhan upah yang layak.Untuk memperoleh data dalam penulisan ini dilakukan penelitian kepustakaan dan penelitian lapangan. Penelitian kepustakaan dilakukan untuk memperoleh data yang bersifat teoritis, sedangkan penelitian lapangan dilakukan guna memperoleh data primer melalui wawancara dengan responden dan informan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masih ada sebagian pekerja outsosurcing yang belum diberikan upah sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan, pengusaha tidak membayar upah sesuai dengan upah minimum yang ditentukan oleh Pemerintah Propinsi Aceh. Adapun faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya upah pekerja outsourcing di PT Lafarge Cement Indonesia disebabkan karena perusahaan menggunakan standar upah minimum tahun 2012, dan tingginya biaya produksi perusahaan outsourcing, selain itu pekerja outsourcing juga mengalami kesulitan dalam mencari pekerja lain, serta kurangnya pemahaman pekerja outsourcing  mengenai standar upah minimum regional. Upaya yang dilakukan pekerja menggunakan proses penyelesaian perselisihan hubungan industrial dengan mengadakan perundingan secara musyawarah untuk mencapai mufakat, apabila perundingan tidak menghasilkan kesepakatan maka diajukan kepada Pengadilan Hubungan Industrial.Disarankan kepada pengusaha outsourcing agar menghormati hak-hak pekerja serta melakukan pembayaran upah yang layak kepada pekerja. Kepada pekerja outsourcing agar memahami peraturan mengenai hak-hak dasar sebagai pekerja serta mengetahui prosedur dalam penyelesaian sengketa kerja. Kepada pihak Dinas Tenaga Kerja agar dapat meningkatkan pengawasan terhadap pelaksanaan pembayaran upah minimum dan juga disarankan untuk memberikan penyuluhan kepada pekerja mengenai hak-hak pekerja dan upaya-upaya yang dapat ditempuh apabila terjadinya sengketa kerja.</text>
