Permasalahan pada penelitian ini yaitu Bagaimanakah kemampuan bercerita dengan menggunakan media gambar seri pada siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri 37 Banda Aceh?. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan bercerita dengan menggunakan media gambar seri pada siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri 37 Banda Aceh. Adapun yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas II SD Negeri 37 Banda Aceh dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 36 orang siswa, dengan 18 siswa laki-laki dan 18 siswa perempuan. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui tes yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Pengolahan data siswa dihitung melalui analisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan pada aspek ketepatan isi cerita maka diperoleh nilai rata-rata 12,5, aspek ketepatan bahasa diperoleh nilai rata-rata 13,33, aspek volume suara diperoleh nilai rata-rata 13,33, aspek gaya bercerita diperoleh nilai rata-rata 12,5 dan pada aspek kelancaran diperoleh nilai rata-rata 12,5. Dari beberapa aspek penilaian dalam penelitian ini maka diperoleh nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 64,58. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan kemampuan rata-rata siswa kelas II SD Negeri 37 Banda Aceh tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 dalam bercerita dengan menggunakan media gambar seri berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini tergolong pada kategori cukup. Agar kemampuan siswa dalam bercerita dengan menggunakan media gambar seri menjadi lebih baik, disarankan kepada guru agar menggunakan media pembelajaran yang sesuai yang bisa meningkatkan minat dan motivasi siswa dalam bercerita. Disamping itu juga diharapkan kepada guru agar memberikan kesempatan yang lebih banyak kepada siswa untuk belajar bercerita secara lisan agar siswa dapat bercerita atau berkomunikasi dengan baik. Penelitian lapangan dilakukan untuk memperoleh data primer yang dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi partisipan. Sedangkan penelitian kepustakaan untuk memperoleh data sekunder berdasarkan buku-buku dan bacaan terkait.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dua hal, pertama, upaya yang dilakukan oleh tokoh Gayo dalam pembentukan Provinsi ALA, adalah melobi elit politik pusat, aksi damai, seminar, diskusi dan sosialisasi. The struggle of the formation of the province of ALA Notables spear headed by Gayo and the political elite who continue to struggle until the extraction materializes.The purpose of this research is to find out what efforts have been made in the establishment of the province of Gayo people ALA, analyze the factors which influence the formation of what are the province of the ALA, and what are the obstacles faced in the creation of the province of Gayo people ALA.Data collection techniques used are field research and library research. Fieldwork was conducted to obtain primary data through interviews and participant observation. While the research literature to obtain secondary data based on books and reading related.The results of this study showed two things, first, the efforts made by Gayo figure in the formation of ALA province, is lobbying the central political elite, peaceful action, seminars, discussions and socializing. The effect of propolis to treat fasting blood glucose, glucose tolerance, total cholesterol was examined. Experimental Research with Randomized Clinical Trial (RCT) design was utilized in the study. Intervention given was propolis at dose 50 mg/kg bwt and health education administered for 20 days. The quality of propolis was 20%extract and quercetin content 25.29 mg/L tested by Biofarmaka Laboratory Test of Hasanuddin University, health education used counseling strategy. Thesamples were 64 prediabetic patients consist of 32 patients treated with propolis and 32 treated with health education. The result of Wilcoxon with significant level of 0.05 has proved significantly decreased fasting blood glucose, glucose tolerance and total cholesterol respectively 14.28 (p=0.000), 23.16 (p=0.000) and 16.3 (p=0.000) The result of group given propolis as significant as health education group respectively fasting blood glucose 14.9 (p=0.001), glucose tolerance 13.98 (p=0.000) and total cholesterol 9.76 (p=0.021). Giving propolis and health education are effective for the change of fasting blood glucose,glucose tolerance and total cholesterol. Propolis is potential to use as a pharmacology therapy for prediabetes. This research aimed to find out the implementation of school based management in State Senior High School 5 Banda Aceh. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The techniques of data collection were carried out through interview, observation, and documentation study. The subjects of research were the principal, the vice principal, the teachers, the administrative staffs and the committee of State Senior High School 5 Banda Aceh. The results of research showed that: (1) the implementation of school based management in curriculum affairs was begun from designing vision, mission, school objectives, learning program, division of task, extracuricular and curricular activities, syllabus development, lesson plan, teaching schedule, structure, and academic calendar; (2) student affair has been appropriate to the program, which includes acceptance of new students, activity of student orientation period, determination students in a particular class, students’ attendance and discipline at school eventhough there were still students who were not discipline; (3) in field personnel, the recruitment was still managed by a local government; coaching and professional development of teachers were implemented through training activities, subject teachers’ forum, giving a permission for higher education and doing a supervision; meanwhile, mutation and pensioners were still managed by a local government; (4) financial management was carried out by establishing source of funds and analysing needs, budget allocation, supervision and reporting which invoved school stakeholders; and (5) in terms of relations with the community, it has been run well, and it is directed to achieve school objectives and to do a socialisation about school-based management as an effort to involve a community for its active participation to help school.Keywords: School-based Management and Quality of EducationAbstrak: Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah merupakan salah satu konsep manajemen dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dengan memberikan otonomi luas pada sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  pelaksanaan manajemen berbasis sekolah pada SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru, tata usaha dan komite SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. The goal of this study is to evaluate the condition of fermentation in the rumen of cows by administration of 3 types of feed fiber agricultural crop residues (Groundnut Straw (GS), Corn Straw (CS) and Sugarcane Tops (ST)). Single feeding wascarried out at 2 Holstein Friesian Crossbred (HFC) cows with the age of 4-5 by fistula rumen.This study was conducted 20 days and with a 14-dayadaptation period.At the end of the adaptation period, rumen fluid was collected to measure pH, N-NH3and VFA based on feed treatment percow.Collection of rumen fluid was simultanous conducted for 24 hours at 27 time points decision.The results of the experiment showed that the level of pH for GS, CS and ST was 7.02 + 0.29; 6.54 + 0.16 and 6.54 + 0.14 respectively. The level of N-NH3 was 4.90 + 2.10 mg/100 ml of rumen fluid; 7.36 + 3.10 mg/100 ml of rumen fluid; 2.26 + 0.85 mg/100 ml of rumen fluidfor GS, CS and ST, respectively. Meanwile, the level of VFA was 57.44 + 12.75 mmol/l ml, 64.84 + 10.82 mmol/l and 44.13 + 6.66 mmol/l ml of rumen fluid, respectively. This research was carried out at the Laboratory of  Feed and Animal Nutrition,  Department of Animal Husbandry Faculty of Agriculture Syiah Kuala University for  73 days from December 26, 2011 to March 7, 2012. The purpose of this experiment was to find out the effects of the coffee peeling on in vitro digestibility of Aceh beef cattle. Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was applied in this experiment consisting of 4 treatments  namely levels of  coffee peeling on basal diet   (R0=0%, R1=10%, R2=20%, R3=30%). Each treatment consists of 5 replications. Parameters observed in this research were dry and organic matter digestibility. The results showed that dry matter digestibility was not significantly different (P>0,05)amongst treatments  54,42%, 49,32%, 45,97%, 42,08%) for R0, R1, R2 and R3 respectively.  On the other hand, organic metter digestibility was significantly different (P<0,05) in which R2 treatment was the highest and R0 treatment was the lowest (54,59%). This research was conducted at Superior Livestock Place in Indrapuri District, Aceh Besar  which lasted for 42 days. It was started on November 28th 2012 until January 9th 2013. This research was aims to know about the average daily gain for Aceh cattle bulls which compensated between forage and concentrate by using 12 bulls aged 2-2,5 years old. The design was used a Randomized Design Groups with 4 feed treatments and 3 repetitions. The feed percentages between forage and concentrate are ration A (100% forages), B (80%)forages and 20% concentrates), C (60% forages and 40% concentrates), and D (40% forages and 60% concentrates). The research analysis data were obtained by using ANOVA (Analysis of Variance). The parameters which observed in this study was the average daily gain, consumption, conversion, and efficiency rations. The result showed that the ration dry matter intake highly significantly (P<0,01) between treatment A (4,45 Kg), and B (3,61 Kg), C (2,72 Kg), and D (3,38 Kg), but the treatment B and D highly significantly than treatment C (P<0,01), the best ration consumption were derived from treatment C. The body weight Kg/bull/day significantly (P<0,05) between treatment A (0,47 Kg) and B (0,65 Kg), C (0,60 Kg), and D (0,61 Kg), the best average daily gain were derived from treatment B. The conversion ration showed that highly significantly (P<0,01) between treatment A (9,55 Kg), and B (5,55 Kg), C (4,60 Kg), and D (5,59 Kg), the best ration conversion were derived treatment C. Similarly, the efficiency ration showed that highly significantly (P<0,01) between treatment A (0,11%), and B (0,18%), C (0,22%), and D (0,18%), C is the best ration efficiency on the treatment.
