Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkatan gejala depresi pada pasien DM yang berobat ke Poliklinik Penyakit Dalam RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional. sampel adalah pasien yang berobat ke Poliklinik Endokrinologi dan Departemen Penyakit Dalam RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh dengan teknik purposive sampling, menggunakan Beck Depression Inventory sebagai alat ukur. Kemudian data dianalisis dengan cara univariat dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi. Hasil data distribusi menunjukkan tingkat gejala depresi terbanyak adalah ringan 46%, sedang 18% dan berat 5%, sedangkan yang tidak mengalami gejala depresi 31%. Karakteristik demografi pada penelitian ini adalah berjenis kelamin perempuan 57%, pekerjaan Ibu Rumah Tangga 40%, tingkat pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Atas 38%, kelompok umur 51-60 tahun 34% dan bertempat tinggal dikota Banda Aceh 66%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pasien DM yang berobat ke Poliklinik Endokrinologi dan Departemen Penyakit Dalam RSUD dr. The aims of this study was (i) to find out the level of liver flukes infection based on body weight, age of beef cattle and their background of origin, and (ii) to know the relationship between the level of liver flukes infection, body weight, age, background of origin and the level of economic losses of beef cattle. This study was conducted at four abattoir located at Banyumas, Cilacap, Purbalingga and Banjarnegara regencies, Central Java province. The sample was taken by purposive sampling. 20 beef cattle that infected by liver fluke in each abattoir were involved in this study. Multiple linear regression was applied in data analysis. This study revealed that (1) Average of the liver flukes infection level in this areas was 47 present. (2) Under 1-2 of age, the highest liver flukes infection level found at thin body condition (53%) and moderate (31%); under 2,5-3 of age, they are found at fat body condition (75%) and moderate (62%); under 3,5-4 of age the highest liver flukes infection level found at moderate and far body condition (100% and 67%, respectively). Menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor yaitu faktor A adalah penambahan susu skim yang terdiri dari 4 level yaitu 0%, 2%, 4%, 6% dan faktor b adalah penambahan persentase starter bakteri asam laktat yang terdiri dari 2 level yaitu 2,5% dan 5% dengan 3 kali ulangan. Parameter yang diamati adalah derajat keasaman (pH), kadar asam laktat dan uji organoleptik, sebagai kontrol digunakan dadih asli asal Sumatera Barat. Women empowerment is an effort to enhance the capacity of women gaining access and control to economic, politic, social and cultural resources. It is also to strengthen self-development and self-confidence regarding ability to contribute and active participation in the process of decision-making, that reinforce development capability and self-concept. Women headed household empowerment program (Program Pemberdayaan Perempuan Kepala Keluarga – PEKKA)aims to cope and deal with any potential women headed household problems comprehensively through community organizing, in particular, related to class and gender inequalities in the community.  In order to achieve that objective, the strategy of project management of PEKKA focuses on five pillars, which are participatory, flexibility, mentoring and facilitating, sustainability, and decentralized. This study aims to assess the level of empowerment of women headed household after joining the PEKKA program.  The study employs qualitative approach, which is women headed household as a unit analysis.  Data gathering was through primary and secondary sources.  Primary data collected through participatory observation, in-depth interview, and focus group discussion, meanwhile secondary obtained through project related supportive documents.  The process of analysis data was using data reduction, data arrangement and presentation, interpretation, tentative argument and conclusion, and verification.  The study shows that the significance of the program encouragingly contributes to empowering women headed household through improvement of wellbeing, opens access to resources, increase critical awareness, as well as participation and control.  It is to the greater extent connects to the objective of the program. Salah satu dampak penggunaan narkoba jangka panjang ialah xerostomia atau mulut kering yang terjadi akibat peningkatan aktivitas simpatis sistem saraf pusat sehingga mengurangi sekresi saliva dan menyebabkan peningkatan akumulasi plak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada pengguna narkoba di panti rehabilitasi kota Banda Aceh (Rumoh Geutanyo dan Yayasan Tabina Aceh). Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional study. Teknik pengambilan subjek secara total sampling dengan total subjek penelitian berjumlah 25 orang.
