Currently, one of the main bottlenecks to the expansion of Scylla aquaculture is the inconsistent and low production of hatchery juveniles. One major challenge to overcome at the hatchery level is disease issues caused by bacteria. The use of probiotics to outcompete pathogenic bacteria is being tested in the industry as a better disease prevention method in Scylla aquaculture compared to antibiotics, and is getting more recognition in aquaculture to reduce bacterial issues. The current review discusses mudcrab farming activities in Malaysia and the scope for using probiotics in Scylla aquaculture, as this is a potential way to increase survival rates in a long term sustainable way. It needs students to have good relational thinking in order for algebraic understanding to grow.  Relational thinking means that the students develop the concept of a number that can vary, build upon similarities and differences, and appreciate for the equals sign as signifying equivalence of expressions. Three categories of relational thinking will be discussed in this paper: emerging, consolidating and established relational thinking. Analyzing data from some junior high school students in Banda Aceh it can be said that most students are still at the stage of emerging relational thinking. They construct limited responses to given questions. Many consolidating relational thinkers’ students are concerned that the relationships hold only for a specific range of numbers. Established relational thinkers demonstrate good algebraic thinking processes. Three types of sentences have a potential for develop algebraic thinking with respect to equivalence, attention to operations, different numbers, compensation, and generalisation. Having presented students’ responses to these three types of questions, we ask: how can teachers help students to move beyond the partial descriptions that characterize emerging relational thinkers. Survey of 10 indicators of science and technologyculture conducted to 467 high school students in Indonesia and 784 students in Malaysia. Based on 10 indicators, developed an instruments of Likert attitude scale and a multiple choice tests as a basis for indicators of science and technology culture. The survey results showed that students SM Malaysia andIndonesia have the same ability and views about; Knowledge of Science and Technology Basic, Understanding the limitations of human reason, and understanding of science and technology indicators, and the student chooses more amenable Science and Technology activities conducted outside school hours. Overall, the profiles of Science and Technology culture among students SM SM Indonesia Malaysia and there is no significant difference at the 1% significance level (t = 0:04). Based on the interpretation of the scalesuggested by Green & Akey, the results of this study showed that the culture of Science and Technology indicators proposed in this study include both categories, namely 0.75 (high) Indonesian and 0.74 (high) Malaysian. Therefore it can be said that Malaysian and Indonesian students have a positive attitude towards Science and Technology.
