<text>ABSTRACT Arfiansyah Nasution,2013THE JURISDICTION OF THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT (ICC) ON CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY TOWARDS ROHINGYA CASE IN MYANMAR(vi, 65), pp., bibl., app.Mahfud, S.H., LL.M For many years, the horrible situation has been occurring in Myanmar, many of Rohingya people has become victim from the impact in this circumstances. The massacre or even the other violations against Rohingya ethnic is something can not be tolerated after all it has strongly reason. The International Criminal Court (ICC) as the permanent institution and the ultimate court for the most serious crimes including crimes against humanity has important role for punishing the perpetrator in this case. However, the ICC has limitation because of Myanmar is not a party of the ICC. On the other hand, The ICC should have not act passively to allow the perpetrator making the atrocities further. This research aims to explain the Jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court (ICC) on Crimes Against Humanity; how are the mechanisms to bring the actors to the justice; and obstacles faced by the ICC further to implement its authority to the non-member state in particular Myanmar. In order to compile data in the research, library research is applied to get secondary data, through reading, citing and analyzing data that are related to object of research. The methodology applied is legal normative research. The research shows the Jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court (ICC) on Crimes Against Humanityin Myanmar. Then, according to the Rome Statutethere are several mechanims that have been made by the ICC for bringing the perpetrators to the justiceincludedby regarding to the principle of Complementarity and the Universal Jurisdiction, Surrender the perpetrator, and the Option of the Procedure of the Triggerring Mechanism. The legal actions including sanction, advocacy, monitoring and reporting, promoting, investigating, doing cooperation and making recommendations are something need to be concerned. The obstacles faced by the ICC are the one of limitions to the jurisdiction over non-member states and the lack of coordination both member states and non-member states so it impacts on the implementation which make the perpetrators who commit these crime can not be responsible forwards to the court. The ICC is the one way to settle crimes against humanity. In the case of Myanmar, it is recommended that the ICC need to apply its authority to punish the actors behind this. Clear regulation and heavy punishment have to be applied over the perpetrators in Myanmar. Resolving ethnic conflicts and protecting the human rights and freedoms is something needed urgently. Therefore, justice should be determined in order to prevent the atrocities further.</text>

<text>Communal forests in Indonesia, especially in the form of agroforestry commonly undeveloped and almost in traditional management. In Koto Malintang, West Sumatra agroforestry practice known as ‘parak’ has existed since decades ago. This study aims to determine the importance of tree tenure security in the ‘parak’ management for its sustainability in Koto Malintang, West Sumatra. The research uses descriptive method to identify the tree tenure security. To assess and describe patterns of tree control on communal land which refers to the Rapid appraisal of social forestry for land and tree tenure. Kedua menilai status jaminan hak-hak masyarakat pada penguasaan tanah dan penguasaan pohon dengan pendekatan terhadap hak-hak yang terdapat pada tanah dan pohon. The findings indicate lack of tree tenure security, especially for the purpose of selling the trees. Communal rights limit the freedom of timber use in an uncontrolled manner. But the communal rights maintain the system sustainability that is practiced as local institutional rules. For the income purposes, farmers tend to avoid planting timber-producing trees and prioritizing to quickly produce an annual crop. This is due to the limited of tenure security encourages reluctance of trees planting. Planting more trees is caused by timber interests. Planting trees is caused by the communal interest to the trees benefit for environmental sustainability.</text>

<text>The supply of stone dust as filler and asphalt as binder is limited, therefore it is necessary to use an alternative to filler and asphalt import. The problem is expected to be overcome by the presence of rice husk ash as a filler and natural asphalt of Buton Island (Asbuton) as a binder. This study aims to evaluate the performance of Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course (AC-WC) mixture by using rice husk ash as a filler and asphalt penetration 60/70 as binder with the addition of Asbuton. The specimens were made into two major groups: (i) the specimens using stone dust and asphalt pen 60/70 (ABA), and (ii) the specimens using rice husk ash and asphalt pen 60/70 with the addition of asbuton (ASA). The last group was performed with four variations: 0% (ASA 0), 5% (ASA 5), 10% (ASA 10), and 15% (ASA 15) over the total weight of the mixture. Total specimens were 75, each has 15 specimens. Asphalt contents used were 4.5% to 6.5%. Specifications used the standards of the Departemen Permukiman dan Prasarana Wilayah (2005) by using Marshall method Optimum asphalt contents (OAC) for each mixture were 5.6% (ABA), 6.0% (ASA 0), 6.3% (ASA 5), 5.9% (ASA 10), and 5.8% (ASA 15). In sum, the asphalt concrete mixture using rice husk ash as filler was able to compete with the one using stone dust as filler, and therefore can be used as alternative materials to road pavement construction.</text>

<text>Wetting phenomena plays a crucial role in a wide range of technological applications. Spreading of liquids on solids involving phase change is encountered in many areas ranging from biological systems to industrial applications such as coatings, printing, painting and spraying. The fundamental study on wetting of membrane precursors namely hydrotalcite sols on a porous silica surface with different types of precursor material was successfully carried out. Relationship between the contact angle of a hydrotalcite droplet on silica surface and the Marangoni effect was also investigated. The presence of PVA in hydrotalcite sols was found to influence the rheological properties of the sols significantly, resulting in higher viscosity and ultimately leading to lower contact angle on solid surfaces. The degree of hydrotalcite's philicity on a substrate was improved by the addition of PVA solution. In this study, the spreading of a liquid droplet on a solid surface controlled by a surface tension gradient, due to Marangoni effect was found to drive better spreading of the liquid droplet. Marangoni Number, Ma was found to be proportionally related with the surface tension of the sols but inversely proportional to contact angles of the sols. Marangoni forces that decreased the contact angle, promoted spreading of hydrotalcite droplets on the selected glass substrates. Keywords: contact angle, hydrotalcite, marangoni effect, spreading, wetting evolution</text>

‘Revolution’ ini dilaksanakan di laboratorium Pascapanen Hortikultura milik ‘School of Agronomy and Horticulture’ The University of Queensland, Australia.

The ant-plant was extracted using maceration technique with the ethanol as solvent. The extract was made in various concentrations: 5, 10, 25, and 50 ppm. Then DPPH solution was added to it. Absorbance reading was conducted with spectrophotometry at the wave length of 517 nm after 30 minutes. The result of research shows the potency of ant-plant (Mymercodia sp) as an antioxidant free radical scavenging ethanolic extract with IC50 value of 14.73 ppm. The ascorbic acid as the control showed IC50 value of 7:32 ppm.</text>
