<text>The research discusses some experiments to control the level of liquid inside a tank by using PID controllers which can be divided into four categories. The experiments describe the effect of P, I, and D element. It also discusses the best possible controller, which is a PI controller, for the liquid level tank system. The liquid level controlling is done by adjusting the voltage pump which will further regulate the flow rate of the fluid entering the inlet valve. The liquid that flows through the outlet valve is considered as the disturbance variable to the system. The liquid tank sensor needs to be calibrated prior to the experiments. Calibration can be done manually by using a digital multimeter or by using the computer sofware that is connected directly to the plant system. Set point and PID parameters are determined by the UniTrain and the computer interface. In these experiments, PI controller has the best result with a medium proportional gain (KP = 5) and a small integral gain (TN = 0.2).</text>

<text>Malathion and Fendona® (alphacypermethrin) insecticides were tested against larvae and adult stages of house flies, Musca domestica Linnaeus. The percentage mortality of House flies larvae range between 0% and 100%at different exposed dose rate of tested insecticide. Probit analysis was used to determine the LD50. The value LD50 for malathion without food medium was 0.833 -l/larvae and treatment with food medium was 0.895 -l/larvaerespectively. The LD50 for Fendona® without food medium was 0.545 -l/larvae and 0.870 -l/larvae for treatment with food medium. The LD50 values for Fendona® in both treatment was lowers compared with malathion, which meansthat alphacypermethrin is more toxic than malathion. Different with the test on adult house flies, the knockdown time values for alphacypermethrin at KT50 is 9.876 minutes and KT95 is 20.495 minutes against female adult house fliesand were significantly lower than malathion (KT50 is 75.17 minutes and KT95 is 103.38 minutes respectively). Result also showed that a total of 1.0-l of Fendona® is reacting more effective than 1.0-l of malathion. Therefore, we canconclude that Fendona® is the most effective insecticide towards larvae and adult stage of M. domestica. The effectiveness of both chemicals was affected when treated larvae was in the rearing medium</text>

The study was conducted at MAN Rukoh Banda Aceh by implementing environment-based learning through Pre-test and Pos-test group. The population was students of class X year 2013/2014 consisting of 6 parallel classes. The sample was Class X-1 consisting of 28 students. Data was analysed persentage and t-test. The results showed that there was significant improvement of students achievement (t-count > t-table, or 2,499 > 2.051). It can be concluded that there was significant increases in student achievement by implementing environment-based learning on the concept of spermatophyte diversity</text>

One anticipation step is to set the sustainable food farming land (LPPB). This study aims to provide information about the food farming land that should be protected from the threat of conversion in the district of Aceh Besar. The approach taken is through the classification of land based on biophysicalpotency. Data obtained through survey, observation, secondary data collection, and literature studies. The study results indicate that there are four categories of paddy land, namely: the main land I (9 districts), the main land II (7 districts), the secondary land I (5 districts), and secondary land II (2 districts). The main land is the land which is suggested to be an everlasting land (sustainable) for reliable biophysical characteristics, while the secondary land could be converted as long as it is based on the main reason and more urgent.</text>

<text>The objective of this study is to find out whether there is a significant difference in speaking performance between students who are taught using the Examples Non-Examples Technique (ENET) and those who are taught using the Grammar Translation Method (GTM). To achieve the goal of this study, the experimental design method was used with an experimental class and a control class. The sample of study was a class of 45 students as the experimental class and another class of 45 students as the control class. The instruments used for the study were tests. The data was analyzed through statistical formula including finding the frequency distribution, range (R), class of data (K), class of interval (I), mean, standard deviation, and Z-score. The results showed that the Z-score pre-test of experimental and the control classes was 1.3 (Z count<Z table) in which the Z table was 2.04. This means that there was no significant difference between the scores of both classes in pre-treatment. However, in post-treatment the Z-score for the experimental class and control classes was 5.1 (Z count>Z table) which indicated that there was a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in post-treatment. In conclusion, ENET can be applied as an alternative technique in teaching speaking. The research hypothesis (Ha) is also proven that the use of ENET provides a positive contribution for the development of students’ speaking performance.</text>
