Polymeric porous membranes are generally prepared by the phase separation of polymer solution. In this work, we prepared hollow fibre membrane by non-solvent induced phase separation (NIPS). Effect of molecular weight of surfactant added on the performance and characteristic of fabricated membrane were investigated. The control PES membrane has the highest contact angle, indicating thelowest hydrophilic. With addition of surfactant Tetronic in the polymer blend hollow fibre membrane, the water contact angle decreased indicates that the membrane surface is more hydrophilic. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images for all of the membrane showed the structure of fibre with finger-like macro voids through the cross-section. The sponge-type of structure in the centre path of original membrane was disappearing with addition of Tetronic. Ultrafiltration experiment results showed that water permeability washighest with addition of Tetronic with lowest molecular weight. Numerical hydrodynamics model MOHID based on General Ocean Turbulence Model formula was used to study the tidal current in Makassar waters. The data used in this model are tidal elevation and bathymetry data from GEBCO. The tidal current simulation was conducted for 30 days. Model simulation results show that the tidal current velocity ranged between 0,001 m/s – 0,012 m/s. The current velocity during neap tide is smaller than the velocity during spring tide. The pattern of tidal current in Makassar waters is dominantly flows towards westward and then turned heading northward direction. The simulation result of tide-induced residual current in verification point shows that the flows is ebb-dominant at a rate of 0,005 m/s heading westward direction. Creator An entity primarily responsible for making the resource Arina Hidayati Description An account of the resource Daun kembang merak (Caesalpinia pulcherrima)adalah salah satu tanaman herbal yang memiliki efek farmakologik berupa antibakteri.Hal tersebut dikarenakan daun kembang merak memiliki senyawa aktif berupa alkaloid, saponin, tanin, polifenol, flavonoid, kuinon, dan steroid.Salah satu penyakit rongga mulut yang diakibatkan oleh aktivitas bakteri adalah karies gigi.Bakteri yang paling sering diisolasi dari karies gigi adalah Streptococcus mutanskarena bakteri ini memiliki sifat asidogenik dan asidurik.Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak daun kembang merak dan konsentrasi hambat minimum serta konsentrasi bunuh minimum daun kembang merak terhadap pertumbuhan Streptococcus mutans.Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental laboratoris dengan menggunakan metode Standard Plate Count (SPC). Daun kembang merak diekstraksi dengan metode maserasi menggunakan etanol 96%. Ekstrak daun kembang merak diuji aktivitas antibakteri dengan Streptococcus mutansyang telah dikultur pada media TYS20B.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, pada konsentrasi 10% pertumbuhan koloni telah mengalami penurunan pertumbuhan koloni menjadi 312 x 107 CFU/ml dan pada konsentrasi 70% sudah tidak ditemukan pertumbuhan koloni. Hasil analisisstatistik menggunakan Kruskal-Wallismenunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari ekstrak daun kembang merak terhadap pertumbuhan Streptococcus mutans.Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak daun kembang merak memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap pertumbuhan Streptococus mutans dengan konsentrasi hambat minimum 10% dan konsentrasi bunuh minimum 70%.Kata kunci: ekstrak daun kembang merak, karies, Streptococcus mutans, konsentrasi hambat minimum, konsentrasi bunuh minimum. Tujuan selanjutnya dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran kendala yang dihadapi mahasiswa dalam memanfaatkan software Algoritma Floyd Warshall. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskripsi-kualitatif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 4 orang yaitu mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Unsyiah yang mengambil matakuliah Teori Graf tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Pemilihan subjek dilakukan berdasarkan hasil pengamatan aktivitas mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran yaitu mahasiswa yang aktif, kurang aktif dan tidak aktif serta memiliki IPK lebih dari tiga. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dari pengamatan, jawaban tertulis dan hasil wawancara. Untuk menguji kredibelitas data peneliti melakukan triangulasi. Dalam penelitian ini, triangulasi yang dipakai adalah triangulasi metode yaitu dengan cara membandingkan jawaban tertulis dengan data hasil pengamatan dan data hasil wawancara. Kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa dapat dilihat berdasarkan perolehan indikator rubrik. Kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa yang diteliti sebagai berikut, tingkat kemampuan komunikasi matematis subjek I adalah cukup baik, tingkat kemampuan komunikasi matematis subjek II adalah sangat baik, tingkat kemampuan komunikasi matematis subjek III adalah baik, dan tingkat kemampuan komunikasi matematis subjek IV adalah cukup baik. Habits of Mind yang ditunjukkan subjek penelitian adalah sebagai berikut; subjek I menunjukkan Habits of mind yang kurang maksimal, subjek II menunjukkan habits of mind yang sangat baik, subjek III menunjukkan habits of mind yang sangat baik, dan subjek IV menunjukkan habits of mind yang cukup baik. Sedangkan kendala mahasiswa dalam memanfaatkan software Algoritma Floyd Warshall adalah, 1) graf/digraf tidak dapat diperbaiki bila sudah diproses (dijalankan), 2) hasil kerja dengan menggunakan software tidak dapat disimpan, 3) verteks yang dapat digunakan terbatas, dan 4) tidak ada informasi jarak antara suatu tempat ke tempat yang lain, sehingga kurang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam kehidupan nyata.
