After Tsunami 2004, many local and international NGOs came to help Aceh community in rehabilitation and reconstruction processes in order to relief economic condition of the community. In the rehabilitation processes of coast community, NGO gave more attention to gender equity in their program, especially in the program aimed to increase knowledge and skill through  the training of small scale enterprise and giving fund for their business. In 2010, the rehabilitation and reconstruction processed was finished. How is the women role in economic sector? This research aimed to: (1) Describe the women role in fishery subsector before and after tsunami, (2) Analyze factors which caused the change of woman role in fishery subsector after tsunami, (3) Formulate the strategy to reinforce woman role in economic activity of fishery subsector. This research was a case study in Meunasah Keudee Village, Mesjid Raya Subdistrict, Aceh Besar District by using a qualitative approach. The results showed that there were a movement in a role of men and women in fishery agroindustry. Many factors caused this movement: internal factors which are: (a) the increasing awareness of self potential, (b) the increasing of cosmopolitness in women activity after tsunami, (c) the movement of status and women role in their family (widow’s case); external factors which are: (a) NGO’s assistances and guidances in women economic activity, (b) the increasement of family needs, (c) the movement of reference group. Strategy to enhance women role are: (1) increasement of women education through training which includes gender issues in economic assitances to the community; (2) reformation of local or traditional institution which neglect women role; (3) advocate the men to give the same place and role to the women to involve on desicion making processes in the family, economic activity and public sphere. The research aims to measure the imbalance level of household’s income distribution in the sub district of Peukan Bada, Aceh Besar. The method used is survey method. Sampling was conducted randomly and multi stage. The results were analyzed with gain ratio coefficient. It shows that the income distribution of households for those who work as farmer and local labor is categorized as moderate while that for those who work as civil employee and merchant is categorized as low. The calculation shows gain ratio index is 0.386 which lies on moderate category. Based on the World Bank criterion, it was found that 40% of the people with low income in this area have 11.4% of income per year. That means, the imbalance of income distribution in the sub district of Peukan Bada lies in a low level. The aim of this study is to analyse the influence of the number of the agricultural labours, agricultural export, agricultural investment and agricultural bank credit toward the agricultural GRDP of Aceh province. The independent variables are the agricultural labours, agricultural export, agricultural investment and agricultural bank credit and the dependent variable is the agricultural GRDP of Aceh province. The data that are used in this study are time series data which are taken from 1999-2012. This study method also use the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The result shows that the variables of agricultural export, agricultural investment and agricultural bank credit have positively affected and highly significant toward the agricultural GRDP of Aceh province, where as the number of the agricultural labours has negatively affected and highly significant toward agricultural GRDP of Aceh province. Closeness of the correlation between the dependent variable and the independent variables that affect the agricultural GRDP of Aceh province is amounted to 89.7% which can be explained by the four variables in the model. The remaining 10.3% is explained by other factors outside the model's equations. Soy industry as one of the downstream agribusiness industries can encourage the increasing of soybean production in Aceh. The existences of fairly large agroindustry perceive a role in economic development, especially the development of food crops in this area. This study aimed to determine the business feasibility through its profitability. Profitability of a soy industry shows the comparison between the net income and capital used in industry level. The research result showed that the ability of industry to gain net income is 23.97 persen, greater than the interest rate 18persen per year. Thus the soy processing industry CV. Aneka Guna is beneficial to be implemented. The amount of net benefit was IDR 108.59 million/year and the amount of capital needed was IDR 453 million /year. This study was aimed to determine the export prospects of the certified organic coffee Arabica at Central Aceh district in the future. The object of study was secondary data related to export activity of the certified organic coffee Arabica in that district. The sampling method was a periodic data (time series), and trend analysis. The result showed that the export activity of the certified organic coffee Arabica has been started since August 2006 concurrently with receiving a certification from "Fair Trade" as an official International of Certificate Organization. By obtaining that certification, it contributes to establish and settle the position of produced coffee from plateau Gayo in coffee Arabica worldwide market. Result of trend analysis indicated that the volume and value of the export of the certified organic coffee will increase in the future, although in nominal value has fluctuations and varies, but it remained showing the positive improvement. Prospects of the coffee from Central Aceh depend on support of variables in exporting itself, such as market expansion to other countries (USA is the biggest coffee importer), the product efficiency, the suppression export costs, as well as improvement of the quality of this coffee.
