The Si- Ge-H films ware grown on corning glass 7059 substrate using 10% dilutedGeH4 and SiH4 gas mixture, respectively. The GeH4 gas flow rate was varied from 2.5 to 12.5 sccm, while the flowrate of SiH was kept constant at 70 sccm. The results showed that the deposition rate of Si-Ge-H thin films wasincreases with the increasing of GeH4 gas flow rate. Beside, the Ge content in the film also increased, and the opticalband gap decreased. The dark conductivity of Si- Ge-H films was relatively constant, whereas the photo ’sconductivity decreased with increasing of Ge content.</text>

<text>The objectives of this Research would like to know the effect of probiotic starbio in dodol multinutrition (DM) on the performance of male bali cattle. This research was done in four treatment and periods usind 4 x 4 latinsquared design (LSD). All animals were fed native grass ad libitum as a basal diet. The treatment were P0 (DM without the addition of probiotic starbio), P1 (DM with the addition of 2% probiotic starbio), P2 (DM with the additionof 4% probiotic starbio), P3 (DM with the addition of 6% probiotic starbo), with average initial body weight 157,25 + 10,7kg. The result of this research indicated that the averages of feed consumption in dry matter (kg/head/day)sach as: (3,50; 3,69; 3,83 and 3,88 respectively); average daily gain (ADG) (kg/head/day) such as: (0,52; 0,56; 0,60 and 0,63, respectively); Average of feed convertion ration such as: (6,711; 6,640; 6,369; and 6,198,respectively) and IOFC (Rp) such as : (182,132; 204,071; 234,798 and 251,004, respectively). The addition of probiotic starbio in the DM has a very significantly different (P<0,01) on feed intake and body weight gain of male bali cattle, however significant different (P<0,05) with feed conversion ration male bali cattle. It could be concluded that probiotic starbio could be used to increase feed consumption, body weight gain, feed efficiency in feed and IOFC.</text>

<text>This study analyzes the phenomenon of code-switching in broadcasting used by announcers at Three FM Radio. The researcher applied a descriptive qualitative method. To gain the data, the she recorded speech utterances of two announcers using a USB that were directly connected to LG MDD64 Audio Player as a recorder device. Then, she transcribed the conversation into the written form based on transcription convention by Ali (2000). In addition, the researcher analyzed the code switching that occured in the data and classified them into six functions of code switching based on Appel and Musyken theory (1987). The result of this study showed that all of the six functions mentioned by Appel and Musyken (1987) were applicable in Three FM radio and metalinguistics function took place as the most function occured, with expressive, phatic and poetic functions as the least function used by these announcers.</text>

<text>. Malaria is a life-threatening disease due to the development of resistance by the most lethal causative parasitic species mainly Plasmodium falciparum. One of a great challenges in malaria controlling program is P.falciparum that has been resistant to the most commonly available antimalarials. New drugs with specific structures and mode of actions are urgently required to treat sensitive and drug-resistant strains of malaria parasites. This study was designed to know the antimalarial activity of the extract of the neem leaves (Azadirachta indica A.Juss) on the growth stages of P. falciparumFCR-3. The experimental laboratoric study used “post-test only with control design”. RPMI 1640 used as culture medium for cultivation of P. falciparum. Treated drug was the extract of neem leaves dissolved in dimethylsulfooxide and prepared into 7 levels concentration (3,125; 6,25; 12,5; 25; 50; 100 and 200 ug/mL). Negative control was culture medium with the malarial parasites. After cultured, synchronized, micromalarialculture were divided into control and treated groups then incubated in CO2 Candle Jar at 370 C for 72 hour. Each 8 hour the percentage of parasitemia were measured for observing the activity of the extract on the growth stages of P. falciparum. After incubation, supernatant fluid was removed without disturbing the erythrocyte layer. Parasitemia was calculated by made the thin blood smear from the erythrocyte layer and stained with 10% Giemsa for 30 minutes. The antimalarial activity of the extract was calculated by counted the fifty percent of growth inhibition 50 (IC50) using probit analysis. The result showed that the neem leaves extract can inhibit the growth of P. falciparum FCR-3 on mature schizont stage and the fifty percent inhibitory concentration (IC50) of the extract was 3,86 µg/ml after 32 hour incubating. The result indicated that the extract has an antimalarial activity on P. falciparumFCR-3 in vitro</text>

<text>ABSTRACT. The world’s copra meal production amounted to 1.8 million tonnes in 2002 and most of it was produced in Asia. The Philippines and Indonesia contributed approximately 65% of the world’s copra meal production. The main problems of using copra meal in poultry diets are its physical properties along with its nutritional profiles. This study was conducted to determine the physical characteristics and feeding value of copra meal. Physical characteristics were determined by measuring the bulk density and water holding capacity of copra meal and a digestibility study was undertaken to investigate nutrient digestibility, jejunal digesta viscosity and apparent metabolizable energy of copra meal. A total of 28 day old male Ross chicks were given control starter and grower diets from day 1 to 35. From day 36 to 42 , the birds were fed an experimental diet. Faeces were collected for three consecutive days. Jejunal digesta was measured for viscosity and ileal digesta was used for amino acid digestibility measurements.Data indicated that bulk density and water holding capacity of copra meal were poor, being 0.49 g/cm3 and 4.69 g water / g feed respectively. Although the crude proteind and amino acids contents of copra meal were favourable to meet a broiler chicken’s requirements, their digestibilities were low and lysine digestibility being the lowest while arginine digestibility was high. Dry matter, neutral detergent fibre digestibility and apparent metabolizable energy were also low. The low digestibilities of nutrients were not due to the jejunal digesta viscosity as jejunal digesta viscosity was low.</text>

<text>As North Sumatera Province has focused on agriculture in its development, a lot of agriculture researchs need to be conducted. A research of biogas sludge ( from cattle dung) application on spinach plants was done on February until April 2012. The research’s objective were to determine chemical quality of biogas sludge as organic fertilizer, the growth response of spinach plants and the economic benefits of biogas sludge. The research was used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with seven replications and five treatments. The results showed that chemical quality of biogas sludge were as follows : N, P, K, C and pH 1.25% , 0.065, 0.097%, 27.26%, 9.02. C/N ration was 21.80. These chemical quality indicated biogas sludge can be used as good organic fertilizer. Data on average plant height, leaf number, canopy biomass and root biomass indicated that 250 ml per day biogas sludge could be an alternative of 2.5 g NPK as early fertilizer. The highest yield of five treatments was application of 250 ml biogas sludge with 2.5 g NPK at the beginning of spinach planting to the parameters plant height, canopy biomass and root biomass. Biogas sludge application on spinach plants in this research gave economic benefits as much as Rp. 205.554; which was obtained every 30 HST and R/C ratio was 2,93 means that every Rp. 1,- costs in spinach planted wil get Rp. 2,93,- revenue </text>
