Creator An entity primarily responsible for making the resource Ilhamsyah, Yopi Date A point or period of time associated with an event in the lifecycle of the resource 2014-01-03 Description An account of the resource Abstract – The objective of the present research was to assess the surface energy balance particularly in terms of the computed surface energy and radiation balance and the development of boundary layer over Jakarta and Neighboring Regions (JNR) by means of numerical model of fifth generation of Mesoscale Model (MM5).  The MM5 with four domains of 9 kilometers in spatial resolution presenting the outermost and the innermost of JNR is utilized. The research focuses on the third and fourth domains covering the entire JNR. The description between radiation and energy balance at the surface is obtained from the model. The result showed that energy balance is higher in the city area during daytime. Meanwhile, energy components, e.g., surface sensible and latent heat flux showed that at the sea and in the city areas were higher than other areas. Moreover, ground flux showed eastern region was higher than others. In general, radiation and energy balance was higher in the daytime and lower in the nighttime for all regions. The calculation of Bowen Ratio, the ratio of surface sensible and latent heat fluxes, was also higher in the city area, reflecting the dominations of urban and built-up land in the region. Meanwhile, Bowen Ratio in the rural area dominated by irrigated cropland was lower. It is consistent with changes of land cover properties, e.g. albedo, soil moisture, and thermal characteristics. In addition, the boundary layer is also higher in the city. Selanjutnya penulis akan konfigurasi sistem proxy server pada salah satu warung kopi di kota Banda Aceh, sebagai salah satu solusi untuk mengatur bandwidth yang tersedia secara efektif tanpa harus menambah bandwidth pada warung kopi tersebut. Data resistivitas semu diperoleh menggunakan konfigurasi Wenner-Schlumberger yang dilakukan pada 3 Lintasan, panjang setiap lintasan 330 meter dengan spasi antar elektroda 6 meter. 2 Lintasan dibuat paralel dari arah Utara ke Selatan dengan jarak 144 meter satu sama lain. 1 Lintasan lainnya dibuat memotong kedua lintasan tersebut untuk kalibrasi model. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan terdapat dua lapisan. Lapisan pertama yang dekat dengan permukaan sangat konduktif (1-8 ?m) dengan kedalaman sekitar 1-30 meter, diduga sebagai lempung. Di bawah lapisan tersebut terdapat medium yang relatif resistif (9-20 ?m) dengan kedalaman 30-67 meter, diduga sebagai pasir lempungan. The objectives of this research were to assess the yield and quality of patchouli oils from four different villages in the sub district of Kuala Batee, Aceh Barat Daya based on the original area of raw material and the method of distillation, also based on length of distillation. The nested design was used in this research with the treatment of two factors combination, with the level of one factor similar but not identical. The treatments were the original area of raw material and the distillation method used in the original area of the raw material (BM1-4), and the length of distillation (5, 6, and 7 hours). Parameter observed were yield, specific gravity, refractive index, alcohol solubility, the concentration of patchouli alcohol, ester number, acid number, and the sensory test on color and clarity.  The results indicated that the original area of raw material and distillation method (BM) had a significant effect on yield, refractive index, clarity, and acid number. The yield was 2.85%-4.5%, and patchouli oil from BM4 and BM2 gave higher yield but lower patchouli alcohol concentration, and clarity. The results also indicated that the longer time of distillation the higher patchouli oil yield, specific gravity, and patchouli alcohol concentration. However, it affected the lower alcohol solubility and clarity, the higher ester number, and the darker color of the patchouli oil. The concentration of patchouli alcohol in this study ranges from 21.36% to 34.03%. The sequence of horizons of paddy soils is different from non paddy cultivated. The aim of the research were: (1) to study the sequence of horizons of paddy soils in a toposequence of Latosol on Volcanic materials in the Bogor – Jakarta Area; (2) to study the sequence of paddy cultivated intensity to sequence of horizons.
