The purpose of the present research is to study the deposit 137Cs activity on the land and the Sea of Japan and then to estimate a model of 137Cs distribution on the earth's surface of Japan. The stability of nuclei decay equation is used to obtain a deposit 137Cs activity depending on time, theoretically. The Pasquill-Gifford equation is used to estimate a distribution of 137Cs activity on the earth surface from the original source. The results suggested that Hatachinaka city, the largest measurement point, for about 60 years forward, 137Cs activity levels reach about 54 Bq. In the Sea of Japan at the point of sensor C47, which it has the largest value, the accumulation of deposit 137Cs activity gives about 0.69 Bq at the time of the next 60 years. For the distribution of 137Cs activity, the concentration values at a distance of 200 m from the original source obtained maximum for all case. However, its culture is under production due to insufficient fish seeds. High mortality rate of goby juvenile in hatchery are obtained partly because of an unsuitable culture condition and lack of appropriate larval feed. Therefore, this study aims to improve growth performance and also survival rate of marble goby fingerlingsthrough the alteration of stocking density and shelter existence. After two months of experiment, the results showed that both factors had a positive role on growth performance and survival rate of marble goby fingerlings. Marble goby juveniles reared at 50 fish/m2 and 250 fish/m2 gained higher weight, length, and survival rate than the one reared at 500 fish/m2 (P<0.05). Moreover, marble goby juveniles cultured with a shelter produced significantly higher length and weight gain (P<0.05) than the fish without a shelter. The survival rate of the experimented fish also was higher in fish with shelter than without shelter but the difference was not significant (P>0.05). In conclusion, it is suggested that the best stocking density for 0.17±0.01 g marble goby should be 250 fish/m2 coupled with a shelter. More environmental factors for marble goby culture such as photoperiod and light intensity are also under investigation. The Seulawah Agam is located in Aceh Besar district. Geologically, the area is dominated by volcanic mudflow and Lam Teuba’s rocks having age from Tersier to Resen Period. The equipment used includes Gravimeter CG-5 Autograv, Portable GPS (Global Positioning System), Navigation type (map of the survey area), computer and the other technical supports, such as handy talky, umbrella, watch, pens and observed data notes. This research was conducted by doing two stages.  Firstly, establishing the base station which is a reference point for all gravity data measurements at each point. Secondly, measuring gravity data at each point by repeating three times following looping pattern as pathway of measurement either in Heutsz’s crater whose nine points recording or in Cempaga’s crater whose seventeen points. The data was simply processed using Microsoft Excel that can just plot the Bouguer anomaly and interpreted qualitatively due to preliminary research. The resultof this research has shown that both areas have two kinds of Bougeur anomalies which slightly attract attention who’s high and low anomaly. At Heutsz’s Crater has high and low density existed at F125 FR and B6 point. The Point whose high density means that it was formed mineralization by hydrothermal process through fracture materials, meanwhile the point whose low density indicates that there is existed the fault which is quite related to Seulimum’s Fault based on Aceh map. This result is also same as obtained at Cempaga’s Crater which means also same interpretation. In addition, it can be sum up that fault zones are essentially important in geothermal system that plays vital role in term of fluid circulation. The purpose of study is to find the best condition of the ratio of rice husk/natural bentonite as matrix and the percentage of polyethylene-graft-maleic anhydride (MAPE) as coupling agent on quality of formed composites. In order to form these composites a hot press method was performed. The composite formation process was conducted at temperature of 170 oC for half hour. After pressed and heated then composites was cooled to room temperature and finally composites were tested to know its mechanical properties of tensile strength and bending strength. The results showed that addition of natural bentonite into matrix of rice husk have increased mechanical properties of composite compared to composites prepared by using only rice husk and virgin HDPE. Percentage of added MAPE also affect values of tensile and bending strength of composites. The effect of MAPE and natural bentonite which added during formation of composites caused the increasing adhesion bond between matrix and filler and as a result also increased the mechanicalproperties of composites. The highest tensile strength value of 18.2 MPa was found on composite with filler rice husk/natural bentonite ratio of 70:30 with addition of 5 wt% MAPE. Objectives of this research are to determine the level of emissions of carbon monoxide from motor vehicles, to study the fluctuations of air temperature in the area, and　to analyze the impact of increasing carbon monoxide concentration to the air temperature at Simpang Lima Banda Aceh during 2010. Concentration of carbon monoxide and air temperature were recorded by Air Quality Monitoring System (AQMS) device installed at Simpang Lima Banda Aceh. The result shows that carbon monoxide concentration increases as well as number of vehicles passing the area. Change of the concentration in the air is also influenced by temperature variability in the research area. For the temperature, beside affected by carbon monoxide concentrations are also influenced by weather factors such as solar radiation, wind speed and precipitation. However, levels of carbon monoxide concentration at Simpang Lima, Banda Aceh are considerably safe for the environment, i. e. less than 100 ppm. The yield of essential oil was up to 4.48% under these conditions.
