An experiment to investigate the effect of rice straw fermented using white rot fungi and Saccharomyces cerevisiae supplementation on nutrient digestibility In Vitro had been implemented in two phases. The first experiments undertaken to make rice straw fermentation, using experimental methods with a Completely Randomized Design. As the treatment were White rot fungi (Phanerochaete chrysosporium) 0, 5 and 10 g/kg of rice straw (DM basis). Each treatment was repeated six times, so there are 18 experimental units. The variables measured included nutrient content of rice straw. A second experiment carried out in vitro to test the best rice straw fermentation results of the first experiment, using experimental methods, with a Completely Randomized Design. As the treatment were the supplementation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae (0, 2, 4% of the weight of fermented rice straw, DM basis). The variables measured included digestibility of dry matter, organic matter, cellulose and lignin digestibility of feed containing fermented straw. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance test followed by Orthogonal Polynomials. The results can be concluded that the fermented rice straw using Phanerochaete chrysosporium 10 g/kg of rice straw is the best nutrient content. Saccharomyces cerevisiae supplementation on feed that contains fermented rice straw using Phanerochaete chrysosporium 10 g/kg rice straw is 2%. The aim is to figure out the learning outcomes and the quality of math test of students grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Banda Aceh Academic Year 2011/2012. Quality of test includes the analysis of validity, reliability, difficulty level, item discrimination and distractor analysis. The population in this research is all student class VIII consists of VIII-1 with 21 students, class VIII-2 with 21 students, class VIII-3 with 21 students and class VIII-4 with 19 students. The total samples are 82 students with the number of multiple choice test is 25 questions and 5 questions of essay.  Data collections in this research by using documentation technique, by checking the students answer sheet in even semester examination academic year 2011/2012. The results shows that (1) the validity of multiples choice questions was low and sufficient for essay, (2) the reliability of multiples choice and essay were good enough, (3) difficulty level of the multiple choice and essay questions were good enough, (4) item discrimination of multiple choice questions still low but the essay questions in good categorize for 60% and bad for 40%. The quality of mathematics test in SMP Negeri 9 Banda Aceh is low for multiple choice questions and sufficient for essay. Thus we can conclude the analysis of learning outcomes data grade VIII SMP 9 Banda Aceh in the classical mastery learning achievement is only 3.66%. Following the study which confirmed the antimalarial activity of the n-hexane fraction of the neem leaves (Azadirachta indica A.Juss), a research that aimed to reveal the active compounds act as antimalarial agents had been conducted. In this study, the n-hexane fraction of neem leaves were analyzed using the phytochemical, spectroscopic and chromatographic methods.  The chemical compounds, suspected to have an antimalarial activity, were isolated using the thin-layer chromatographic method with several solvents which different in their polarity. The visualizing reagents were used to characterize the compounds. The result showed that the n-hexane fraction of neem leaves contained of steroids, terpenoids and fenols. Analysis by gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy showed that fenol derivatives existed in the largest amount. The ant-plant was extracted using maceration technique with the ethanol as solvent. The extract was made in various concentrations: 5, 10, 25, and 50 ppm. Then DPPH solution was added to it. Absorbance reading was conducted with spectrophotometry at the wave length of 517 nm after 30 minutes. The result of research shows the potency of ant-plant (Mymercodia sp) as an antioxidant free radical scavenging ethanolic extract with IC50 value of 14.73 ppm. The ascorbic acid as the control showed IC50 value of 7:32 ppm.
