Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Random Sampling yaitu teknik penentuan sampel yang dilakukan dengan cara acak sederhana dengan metode analisis deskriptif dan uji beda (Uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak koperasi terhadap para petani karet khususnya para anggota bersifat positif, baik bagi para petani anggota maupun bukan angota, dimana dilihat dari segi modal, ilmu pengetahuan, dan pasar. Serba Usaha Keluarga Mandiri Sejahtera Cooperative is a cooperative engaged in agricultural field, which buys and sells rubber latex to rubber farmers who are members of the cooperative. This research was conducted in Kaloy Village, Tamiang Hulu Sub-district, Aceh Tamiang District. The objects of this research were rubber farmers who are members of the cooperative and rubber farmers who are not members of the cooperative. The sampling technique used in this research is random sampling technique, which is done by applying simple random method and uses descriptive analysis method and differential test (T-test). The study result showed that the impact of cooperative on rubber farmers, especially the members, are positive, both for members and non members, viewed in the terms of capital, knowledge, and market. The result also showed that the rubber farming income of cooperative members is greater, which is Rp.2.190.072/month, than that of non members, which is Rp.1.583.781/month, with a ratio of income of Rp.606.291/month.Keywords: Cooperative, Rubber Farmers who are Members and Non Members of the Cooperative, Rubber Plant, Income. Saat ini permasalahan lingkungan menjadi pertimbangan yang sangat penting dalam produksi biodiesel. Meskipun sumber energi ini (biodiesel) dianggap sebagai karbon netral, namun dalam rangkaian proses produksinya masih menghasilkan berbagai gas berbahaya ke lingkungan. Negara-negara Eropa dan Amerika mengklaim bahwa produksi biodiesel dari minyak kelapa sawit memberikan kontribusi emisi karbon ke atmosfer sepanjang jalur produksinya. Selain itu, US EPA-NODA dan EU RED menyatakan bahwa biodiesel dari minyak kelapa sawit hanya dapat mengurangi emisi GWP 17%  dan 19% dibandingkan dengan bahan bakar berbasis fosil. Mengingat bahwa persyaratan minimum US adalah 20% dan EU adalah 35%, maka minyak kelapa sawit dari Indonesia mengalami kesulitan untuk memasuki pasar global. Pendekatan ilmiah harus dilakukan oleh Indonesia untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Tinjauan dari berbagai literatur menyebutkan bahwa keberlanjutan produksi biodiesel dari kelapa sawit lebih baik dibandingkan jarak pagar, bahkan apabila dibandingkan dengan bahan baku yang lain seperti lobak. Tinjauan dari berbagai literatur menyebutkan bahwa nilai karbon yang dapat diserap oleh hutan primer lebih tinggi dari hutan sekunder dan dari perkebunan kelapa sawit. Kondisi inilah yang menjadi alasan mengapa dunia menyebutkan bahwa Indonesia sebagai penyebab pemanasan global, meskipun penelitian lebih lanjut masih dibutuhkan berdasarkan data terakhir di Indonesia. Dari kondisi ril di Indonesia diperoleh nilai GRK sebelum produksi stabil yaitu 2.575,47 kg-CO2eq./ton-minyak biodiesel (BDF) untuk minyak kelapa sawit dan 3.057,74 kg-CO2eq./ton-BDF untuk minyak jarak pagar. Ketika produksi sudah stabil diperoleh nilai GRK sebesar 1.511,96 kg-CO2eq./ton-BDF untuk minyak kelapa sawit and 380,52 kg-CO2eq./ton-BDF untuk minyak jarak pagar. Jika kita bandingkan dengan minyak solar, maka nilai emisi CO2eq. dapat diturunkan  49,27 % untuk biodiesel dari minyak kelapa sawit dan 88,45 % untuk biodiesel dari minyak jarak pagar. Review of Life Cycle Assesment of Biodiesel in Indonesia Abstract. Currently, environmental consideration becomes the most important issue in biodiesel production. Eventhough source of energy is considered as carbon neutral, the production path may release various environmentally hazardous gasses. European and American countries claim that production of biodiesel from palm oil contributes carbon emission to the atmosphere along its production path. Furthermore, US EPA-NODA and EU RED stated that palm oil based biodiesel can only reduce emission of GWP by 17 % and 19 % compared to fossil-fuel based. Considering on the minimum requirement is 20 % for US and 35 % for EU, CPO from Indonesia experiences difficulties to enter the global market. Scientific approach should be undertaken by Indonesia to address this issue. Summary of the literature mentions that the sustainability of biodiesel from palm oil is better than Jatropha curcas, compared to other sources of raw materials, such as rapeseed. Summary of the literature mentions that the value of carbon that can be absorbed by primary forest is higher than secondary forest and palm oil plantation. This is the reason why world claims Indonesia on global warming issues although further research is still needed based on the latest data. The apple juice was passed over the SDR disc spinning at 2000 rpm, heated at various temperatures (90 °C, 100 °C, 110 °C, and 120 °C), and at a flow rate of 7 ml/s. The effect of SDR-processing on viscosity and particle size of the apple juice concentration,  was investigated. The SDR-concentrated apple juice exhibits narrow particle size distribution (average particle size in the range of d32 = 0.1-0.2 µm and d43 = 4-12 µm) and shear-thinning behaviour in the range of shear rates from 0.1 – 200 s-1, in which the viscosity decreases with increasing the shear rate. The reconstituted samples show  similar viscosity with its original counterpart.  The increase of the processing temperature allows a reduction in the processing time. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi di kelas dan dokumentasi hasil tindakan yang dilakukan maupun data tentang gambaran, dengan penelitian tindakan ini akan diketahui peningkatan atau penurunan setelah tindakan kelas dilakukan per siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Penerapan metode diskusi pada pembelajaran PKn pokok materi prestasi diri di kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Bakongan Kabupaten Aceh Selatan Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013 dilakukan dengan menerapkan materi, membentuk kelompok untuk mengkaji materi dan melakukan diskusi kelas, dan dalam diskusi kelas ini setiap peserta didik boleh mengomentari hasil kerja kelompok atau pasangan yang presentasi. 2) Peningkatan peningkatan prestsi belajar pada pembelajaran PKn pokok materi prestasi diri di kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Bakongan Kabupaten Aceh Selatan Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013 setelah menggunakan metode diskusi dapat dilihat dari prestasi belajar peserta didik tiap siklus dimana pada pra siklus tingkat ketuntasan belajar siswa ada 11 siswa atau 36,67% naik pada siklus I menjadi 17 siswa atau 56,67% dan meningkat lagi pada siklus II menjadi 27 siswa atau 90%. Ini berarti metode diskusi yang digunakan berhasil meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. 3) Kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran menggunakan metode diskusi selama siklus I dan II mengalami peningkatan yang cukup baik. Ini berarti metode diskusi yang digunakan berhasil meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa.
