Hasil optimasi keseimbangan air parameter Tank Model DAS Singkil meliputi: karakteristik hidrologi DAS Singkil meliputi debit minimum 3,60 mm/hari, debit maksimum 17,80 mm/hari, dan rasio debit maksimum/minimum 4,94. Indikator kesalahan Tank Model DAS Singkil meliputi: R (Coefficient of Correlation) sebesar 0,6471, MAE (Mean Absolute Error) dan RMSE (Root Square Mean Error) masing-masing 2,18 dan 2,73. Total inflow 3.189,48 mm/tahun dan total outflow 3.155,64 mm/tahun, yang terdiri dari: surface flow 11,75 mm/tahun, subsurface flow 669,84 mm/tahun, intermediate flow 62,05 mm/tahun, subbase flow 0,74 mm/tahun, dan base flow 2.411,26 mm/tahun. Berdasarkan total baseflow volume ketersediaan air total yang mengalir di Sungai Singkil mencapai 12.164 x 106 m3/tahun. Potensi sumberdaya air DAS Singkil untuk keperluan pertanian mencapai 3.438,4 x 106 m3/tahun Analysis of Potential Water Resources at Singkil Watershed using Tank Model Abstract. Water demand continues to increase as the population growth, while the availability of water is not always consistent with the needs in terms of volume, place, time and its quality. Tank based hydrological models have been developed in many researches in Indonesia and in the world to predict the potential of water resources in a watershed. The optimalization of tank model parameter could be performed by using Artificial Neural Network (ANN), which has the capability to review the data and does not need much time to reach its optimized model. The purpose of this analysis is to determine the extent of a water resource potential in the Singkil Watershed based on the optimalization of Tank model parameter. Results of the optimalization of water balance of tank model parameter in Singkil Watershed include: hydrology characteristics of Singkil Watershed consisting of minimum debit of 3.60 mm/day, maximum debit 17.80 mm/day, and ratio of maximum/minimum debit is 4.94. Error indicators of Tank model in Singkil Watershed include Coefficient of Correlation (R), which is 0.6471, Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Root Square Mean Error (RMSE), which are 2.18 and 2.73, respectively. Several parameters obtained include total inflow (3,189.48 mm/year) and total outflow (3,155.64 mm/year) consisting of surface flow 11.75 mm/year, subsurface flow (669.84 mm/year), intermediate flow (62.05 mm/year), sub-base flow (0.74 mm/year), and base flow (2,411.26 mm/year). Based on the total base flow, the total volume of water availability flowing in Singkil River reaches 12,164 x 106 m3/year. Guru hanya menerapkan motode ceramah sehingga kurang melibatkan aktifitas siswa secara langsung dan cenderung hanya menerima apa yang diberikan oleh guru, untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang penerapan model Dua Tinggal Dua Tamu. Model pembelajaran ini merupakan model pembelajaran yang memberikan kesempatan kepada kelompok untuk membagikan hasil dan informasi kepada kelompok lain, sehingga dapat menimbulkan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) Peningkatan hasil belajar geografi; (2) Aktivitas guru dan siswa; (3) Keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran; (4) Respon siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran Dua Tinggal Dua Tamu. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS-1 MAN Darussalam yang berjumlah 23 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes, lembar observasi dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian (1) Terjadi peningkatan persentase ketuntasan individual dari siklus pertama sebesar 73,91% pada siklus kedua menjadi 95,65%. Peningkatan persentase juga terjadi pada ketuntasan klasikal dari siklus pertama 70% pada siklus kedua menjadi 90%. (2) Aktivitas guru dan siswa telah mencerminkan pembelajaran Dua Tinggal Dua Tamu, terlihat dari semakin membaiknya pengelolaan waktu dari siklus I hingga siklus ke II yaitu pada saat guru membimbing siswa bergerak dari kelompok asal untuk bertamu dan saat siswa kembali ke kelompok asal setelah bertamu (3) Keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran melalui penerapan model Dua Tinggal Dua Tamu meningkat dari kategori baik menjadi kategori sangat baik (4) Respon siswa 95,7% mengatakan baru dan 95,7% merasa menarik dengan model pembelajaran yang diterapkan. 82,6% menyatakan bahasa yang digunakan guru jelas, 86,9% menyatakan komponen pembelajaran menarik dan menyenangkan. 91,3% berminat untuk mengikuti pembelajaran selanjutnya, dan 91,3% siswa dapat memahami materi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Dua Tinggal Dua Tamu. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran melalui model Dua Tinggal Dua Tamu pada materi biosfer dan aspek sebaran hewan tumbuhan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar geografi. Oleh sebab itu, disarankan kepada guru mata pelajaran geografi untuk menerapkan model ini pada pokok bahasan lain yang dianggap sesuai. A simulation using a software to determine the requirement of pump power on transport system for liquid food material using rheology as parameter for sweetened condensed milk. The software was able to determine the pump energy required by a transfer system of sweetened condensed milk in order to prevent the occurrence of the product jump and the effervescence. The effervescence would destroy the cream of sweetened condensed milk, so at the time of marketing, the product was no longer in good condition to consume. Before conducting simulation using computer program, viscosity data of sweetened condensed milk was required to know the influence parameter of rheology on pump power required by a transport system of sweetened condensed milk. From the simulation, a more good description was obtained to design a transfer system of sweetened condensed milk at one particular factory. The population in this study is all districts across cities in Indonesia. Samples in this study were 56 urban districts that have a budget deficit from 2009 to 2011. Besides, in this study also wants to know whether there is an interaction between the air relative humidity and periods of disk space to store the cocoa seed viability and vigor which lasts from March to May 2013 . This study used a factorial completely randomized design ( CRD ) . Relative humidity of air space saving as the first factor consists of 5 levels ie 20 % , 40 % , 60 % , 80 % and 100 % . Save period as the second factor consists of 5 levels ie 1 week , 2 weeks , 3 weeks , 4 weeks and 5 weeks . Each treatment was repeated 3 times . The results showed that the relative humidity of air space saving very significant effect on the viability and seed vigor based on benchmarks cocoa seed moisture content ( KAB ) , the maximum growth potential ( PTM ) , germination ( DB ) , growth velocity ( KCT ) , simultaneity grow ( KST ) , vigor index ( IV ) , the time required to reach 50 % of the total relative germination ( T50 ) and normal seedling dry weight ( BKKN ) . While the treatment period save very significant effect on the viability and seed vigor based on benchmarks cocoa seed moisture content ( KAB ) , the maximum growth potential ( PTM ) , germination ( DB ) , growth velocity ( KCT ) , simultaneity grow ( KST ) , vigor index ( IV ) , the time required to reach 50 % of the total relative germination ( T50 ) and normal seedling dry weight ( BKKN ) . Faktor pertama adalah komposisi media tanam (M) yang terdiri atas 3 taraf yaitu M1 (Sabut kelapa + akar pakis1:2), M2 (Akar pakis + pecahan arang 1:2) dan M3 (Sabut kelapa + pecahan arang 1:2) serta faktor jenis anggrek (J) yang terdiri atas 3 yaitu J1 (Dendrobium), J2 (Vanda) dan J3 (Cattleya). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komposisi media tanam akar pakis + pecahan arang (1:2) memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap jumlah jumlah daun (helai). Jenis anggrek memberikan pengaruh terhadap jumlah daun dan jumlah akar. Perlakuan antara komposisi media tanam akar pakis + pecahan arang dan jenis anggrek Dendrobium memberikan pengaruh terhadap jumlah daun. Jumlah daun terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan komposisi media tanam akar pakis + pecahan arang (1:2 yang dikombinasikan dengan jenis anggrek Dendrobium.Kata Kunci: Media tanam, Jenis anggrek dan Pembibitan.ABSTRAKThis study aims to determine the effect of growing media , and interaction type of orchid growing media and orchid species orchid plant growth which took place from January 2013 to August 2013 using a randomized block design (RBD ) 3x3 factorial with 3 replications . The first factor is the composition of the growing medium ( M ) which consists of 3 levels ie M1 ( coconut fiber + root pakis1 : 2 ) , M2 ( Roots + fern charcoal 1:2 ) and M3 ( coconut fiber + charcoal 1:2 ) and factor of orchids ( J ) which consists of 3 ie J1 ( Dendrobium ) , J2 ( Vanda ) and J3 ( Cattleya ) . This research present experimental performance of a forced convection greenhouse dryer for drying of fish. The greenhouse dryer was installed at Aceh province, Indonesia. It has a concrete floor with the area of 6×4 m2. The roof of dryer is built in semi-cylindrical shape and covered with transparent polycarbonate sheets. Two axial flow fans powered by a 50-watt solar cell module was used to generate forced convection for ventilating the dryer.To investigate its performance, the dryer was used to dry two batches of fish. The Results showed that to dry 50 kg fish with initial moisture 68 % required 11 hours. Incontrast, to dry the same amount of fish using sun drying take a time about 2 days. The air temperature inside greenhouse dryer at noon in the clear day was 45-55°C.Kinerja Pengering Rumah Kaca Dengan Metode Konveksi Paksa Untuk Pengeringan IkanABSTRAK. Penelitian ini memperlihatkan hasil percobaan terhadap kinerja pengering rumah kaca dengan metode konveksi udara secara paksa pada pengeringan ikan. Penelitian pengering rumah kaca ini dilakukan di Propinsi Aceh, Indonesia. Pengering ini berlantaikan beton dengan luas sebesar 6x4 m2. .Atapnya dibuat berbentuk semi-selinder dan ditutup dengan lembaran plastik transparan berbahan polikarbonat. Dua buah kipas dengan aliran udara secara aksial dipasang dengan sumber daya berasal dari panel surya sebesar 50 Watt dan dipakai untuk menghasilkan konveksi udara paksa pada ventilasi pengering. Untuk menginvestigasi kinerja rumah kaca ini, pengering ini digunakan untuk mengeringkan dua tumpukan ikan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa untuk mengeringkan sebanyak 50 kg ikan dengan kadar air awalnya sebesar 68% membutuhkan waktu selama 11 jam. Sebaliknya, dengan menggunakan sinar matahari secara langsung, untuk mengeringkan ikan dengan jumlah yang sama, maka waktu yang dibutuhkan lebih lama yaitu sekitar 2 hari. Suhu udara di dalam rumah pengering tepat pada siang hari yang cerah berkisar antara 45-55oC. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk kompos (K) yang terdiri atas 4 taraf yaitu kontrol (0 ton/ha), 4,5 kg/pohon (5 ton/ha), 9 kg/pohon (10 ton/ha) dan 13,5 kg/pohon (15 ton/ha) serta faktor pemangkasan (P) yang terdiri atas 2 taraf yaitu tidak dipangkas dan dipangkas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis kompos 13,5 kg/pohon (15 ton/ha) memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap jumlah buah/pohon, jumlah buah normal/pohon dan hasil kakao (kg/ha). Pemangkasan memberikan pengaruh terhadap berat kering biji/buah. Hasil kakao terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan pemberian pupuk kompos 13,5 kg/pohon (15 ton/ha) yang dikombinasikan dengan pemangkasasan.Kata Kunci: Kakao, Kompos, Pemangkasan dan Komponen hasil kakaoABSTRAKThis study aimed to determine the effect of compost fertilizer and pruning as well as the interaction between them to result of cocoa in the District Mila, Pidie which lasted from October 2012 to August 2013. The method used randomized complete block design (RCBD ) 4x2 factorial with 3 replications . The first factor is the dose of compost (K) which consists of 4 levels : control (0 t/ ha) , 4.5 kg/tree (5 t/ha), 9 kg/tree (10 t/ha) and 13.5 kg/tree (15 t/ha ), as well as the Pruning factor (P) which consists of 2 levels: not pruning and pruning. Comparison test of means using Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) at the level of 5%. The results showed that a dose of 13.5 compost kg/ tree (15 t/ha) gives the best effect on the number of fruits/plant, number of normal fruit/tree, and production of cocoa (kg/ha). Pruning give effect to the dry weight of seed/fruit. The results are the best cocoa in the treatment of compost fertilizer 13.5 kg/tree (15 t/ha) combined with pruning.Keywords : Cocoa, Compost, Pruning and Components of cocoa. Infiltration as a movement of water could determine a large amount of water which could move over the soil surface to the river, and the water that went into the ground. The information of water infiltration in watershed was required to make decision about sustainable water resources. On the other hand, the infiltration was dynamic, that was why it was interesting to be analyzed. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in volume that occurred in the watershed catchment of Krueng Peusangan. Having viewed the differences and similarities location against variabel temperature, evapotranspiration, moisture, discharge, rainfall for the fivepoint, watershed locations of Krueng Peusangan using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Based on PCA, the location was selected to analyze the volume of leach discharge measured during 2008-2011 in Wih Nareh and Kr. Teumbo. Absorption volume indicated that occurred instable infiltration at Kr. Teumbo. It needed guidelines for land use arrangement and forest function, especially in the recharge area.
