The reason for conducting this research was the fact that the competency of many students in speaking English was still considered unsatisfactory in Banda Aceh. We postulated that one aspect involved in the process of developing speaking skills was the learning strategies used by the learners. In this study, the data was collected through field research by means of documents, questionnaires, and interviews. The result of this study indicated that high performance speaking students had better balance in using all kinds of learning strategies (memory, cognitive, compensatory, metacognitive, affective, and social) for enhancing their speaking skills; the same could not be found with low performance speaking students. Besides, the high performance students employed more learning strategies consciously and appropriately compared to the low performance students. Based on the research results, it is suggested that students should be trained to be more aware of their own speaking learning strategies. Beban listrik pada gedung riset Tsunami yang penulis teliti mengalami ketidakseimbangan setelah diketahui melalui rumus pencarian beban arus listrik I=P/(V.cos?) . Untuk menyeimbangkan beban maka perlu adanya penambahan beban pada fasa R sebesar 690 watt besar pengaman 3.92 A. Pada fasa S adanya pengurangan beban sebesar 690 watt besar pengaman 3.92 A. Mengingat pentingnya transportasi laut untuk perkembangan di suatu daerah, maka perlu dilakukan perencanaan pembangunan pelabuhan. Salah satu kegiatan dalam perencanaan pelabuhan adalah survei pasang surut untuk menentukan kesesuaian lokasi pelabuhan, pemantauan terhadap umur pelabuhan, serta kelayakan pelabuhan itu sendiri. Maka dari itu pengukuran pasang surut di dua pelabuhan tersebut sangatlah penting untuk dilakukan guna mendapatkan nilai elevasi penting permukaan laut. pasang surut laut merupakan suatu fenomena pergerakan naik turunnya permukaan air laut secara berkala yang diakibatkan oleh kombinasi gaya gravitasi dan gaya tarik menarik dari benda-benda astronomi terutama oleh matahari, bumi dan bulan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari tanggal 5 November 2013 s/d 19 November 2013 (1 Muharram 1435 H s/d 15 Muharram 1435 H) bertempat di pelabuhan penyeberangan Ulee Lheue Banda Aceh dan pelabuhan barang Lafarge Cement Lhoknga. Pengambilan data dilakukan selama 15 hari (Siklus Pasang Surut) setiap harinya dilakukan pengambilan data per dua jam sekali selama 24 jam. 1.Pasang surut yang terjadi di pelabuhan Peyeberangan Ulee Lheue dan di pelabuhan barang Lafarge Cement Lhoknga bertipe Semi Diurnal. Tunggang pasut (Mean Range) di pelabuhan penyeberangan Ulee Lheue Banda Aceh adalah 179 cm sedangkan di pelabuhan barang Lafarge Cement Lhoknga adalah 93 cm. Pasang surut di dua pelabuhan tersebut tidak mempengaruhi besar dengan pendaratan kapal-kapal di dermaga karena kontruksi dermaga di dua pelabuhan tersebut sudah tepat dengan tunggang pasut yang terjadi di pelabuhan tersebut. Bercermin dari slogan tersebut, dapatlah kita ketahui bahwa demokrasi yang diterapkan di Indonesia ini adalah demokrasi keterwakilan, yang mana salah satu contoh pengejawantahan dari pada demokrasi ini adalah adanya pesta demokrasi, yaitu Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu), yang pelaksanaannya diatur dalam Pasal 22E UUD 1945. Pemilu Legislatif dilaksanakan dan disebutkan dalam UU Nomor 8 Tahun 2012 tentang Pemilihan Umum DPR, DPD dan DPRD. Di Perancis, Pemilu Legislatif berdasarkan pada konstitusi Perancis Tahun 1958 atau biasa dikenal dengan Konstitusi republik kelima. Terdapat persamaan dan perbedaan antara perwujudan demokrasi melalui sistem pemilu legislatif antara Indonesia dengan Perancis. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan sistem pemilu Negara Indonesia dan Negara Perancis serta persamaan dan perbedaan sistem pemilihan umum dikedua negara tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Yuridis Normatif dengan metode deskriptif yang menggunakan data kepustakaan (Lybrary Research) yang terdiri dari bahan hukum primer, bahan hukum sekunder dan bahan hukum tersier, dan terhadap semua data dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pemilihan umum Legislatif di Indonesia menggunakan sistem campuran (proporsional terbuka dan distrik berwakil banyak) dengan menggunakan sistem kepartaian multi partai untuk pemilihan anggota DPR, DPRK. Sedangkan di Perancis menggunakan sistem pemilihan umum proporsional yaitu dengan sistem multi partai. Dan persamaan sistem pemilihan umum legislatif ada pada pemilih yang memilih perwakilan dari mereka secara langsung dalam hal bentuk pelaksanaan demokrasi. Disarankan kepada Pemerintahan Republik Indonesia agar pada pemilihan umum legislatif yang akan datang tetap berkomitmen dapat mempertahankan dan menggunakan sistem campuran (proporsional terbuka dan distrik berwakil banyak) dengan sistem multi partai, karena sebuah negara yang majemuk seperti Indonesia dan Perancis, sistem multipartai sangat dibutuhkan. Sehingga keserasian diantara kedua sistem tersebut dapat terlihat dan dirasakan oleh Negara Indonesia yang menganut kedua sistem tersebut. In this technique, a laser light is focused on the surface of sample yielding a plasma just above the sample surface that used for analytical source. Nowadays, rapid powder analysis in tiny amount (mg) has been carried out using plasma induced by high power laser of  Nd:YAG (Neodymium-doped Yttrium Aluminium Garnet) at atmospheric pressure. However, powder analysis using high power laser is still difficult to be carried out  due to blow of powder when irradiated laser beam focused on a powder sample. In general, the powder must be transformed into pellet form prior to analysis. Pellet sample requires a lot of powder and it takes time for preparation. In this study, we developed a technique of powder sample with its size about  30 µm (± 5 mg) that mixed with silicon grease (± 5 mg) that act as a binder. The mixed sample then thinly painted on the metal plate as sub-target. The study showed that by employing sillicon grease technique, a semiquantitative analysis of several elements contain in coal, rock, and  water  can be conducted. Meanwhile heavy metal in soils is still not able to detect.
