<text>The term of capacity is very useful to quantify the ability of transport facilities in terms of carrying traffic. The capacity of the road is an essential ingredient in the planning, design, and operation of roadways. It is desirable for traffic analyst to be able to predict the time and places where congestion will occur and the volumes to be expected. Most of urbanized areas have been experiencing of traffic congestion problems particularly at urban arterial systems. High traffic demand and limited supply of roadways are always the main factors produced traffic congestion. However, there are other sources of local and temporal congestion, such as uncontrolled access point, median opening and on-street parking activities, which are caused a reduction of roadway capacity during peak operations. Those locations could result in reduction of travel speed and road, as known as hidden bottlenecks. This is bottleneck which is without any changes in geometric of the segments. The Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (IHCM, 1997) is used to assess urban arterial systems till current days. IHCM provides a static method for examining the capacityand does not systematically take into account of bottleneck activities. However, bottleneck activities create interruption smooth traffic flow along arterial streets, which in turns stimulate related problems, such as, excessive air pollution, additional energy consumption and driver’s frustration due to traffic jammed. This condition could happen simultaneously; mostly repetitive and predictable in same peak hour demands. Therefore, this paper carefully summarize on the existing methodologies considering required data, handled data processing and expected output of each proposed of analysis. We further notice that dynamic approach could be more appropriated for analyzing temporal congestion segments (median opening, on street parking, etc.). Method of oblique cumulative plot seems to be more applicable in terms of convenient, surveying tool and the accuracy of analysis. This method is easy to handle and powerful in identifying flow and speed fluctuations during breakdown occurs</text>

<text>Abstract:Increasing the demand of travelers and limited of road supplies are the main crucial problem which is produced transportation related impact such as congestion and crashes. Congestion mainly occurs along urban corridors not only at junctions but also at potential bottlenecks which are temporal capacity of the road diminishing in most cases. The aims of this work is to assess the actual capacity and travel speed at the location of systematic bottleneck by governing simulation approach so called VISSIM 5.40. A selected area of study was at Jalan T. Nyak Ariefin particular at the position of Lamnyong intersection, Banda Aceh (±KM.6). It found that the assessment of the bottleneck capacity at the highest value of 1455 PCU/h (dropped 9-12 per cent) compared to normal condition. Equally patterns, travel speed reduced to 11 km/h or deteriorated to 4-9 per cent. As for the bound of accuracy, validation was conducted by comparing the MOEs value between observed and obtained from the simulator. The validation error was point out 9%, 9%, and 10% for hourly flow rate, travel speed, and travel time respectively, and the validation error denoted that less than 15%. It means that the MOEs value resulted from VISSIM 5.40 simulator is considerably acceptable in particular for practical purposes.     Keywords : congestion, capacity reduction, bottleneck, VISSIM 5.40, MOEs, Validation.

Metode Maximum Likelihood Model (MLM) digunakan untuk mendeterminasi parameter estimasi model dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) versi 16.

<text>Abstract: The Traffic breakdown mechanisms were studied on arterial road of T. Nyak Arief Road specifically at in front of Zainal Abidin General Hospital which is median opening exist. Studies were conducted during three days a week including morning and evening peak hours. The diagnostic tools used in this work were oblique cumulativ plots and breakdown event fuction methods. Both methods are time series treatment between cumulative vehicles arrival versus time contracted from data recorded by video tape. It is clearly shown that in certain time during an hour observation bottleneck becomes active then breakdown occurs on average 39 minutes within an hour on u-turn section. Finding from this work on average capacity drops in median opening approximately in the range 8-9 percent controlled by capacity in immediately before breakdown. Performing by breakdown event method, speed founded drop on average 10 percent effected by median opening. Keywords : Breakdown mechanism, Oblique Cumulative Plots, Breakdown Event Fuction, U-Turn, speed and capacity drops.

Kata Kunci :Lumbricus rubellus, Multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii, Peptida antimikroba, Lumbricin-I.</text>

The body weight was measured from 1d to 31d. Blood samples, lever tissues and statistical analysis were conducted on 31d. The results of the experiments indicated that supplementation of fish feed with jaloh leaves 5-15% had negative effects on body weight gain. On the other hand, supplementation of jaloh leaves 5-10% on commercial fish feed had positive effects on performances and immune system of experiment fishes</text>

<text>Mineral content of Cu and Fe in plasma and hair in related to anemia cases on female goatABSTRACT. A research had been done to identify mineral content of Cu and Fe in plasma and hair related to anemia case on female goat. Twenty female local goats at the age of 12-16 months taken from Kecamatan Darussalam and Kecamatan Baitussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar were applied. The goats taken have the criteria of hemoglobin rate (Hb) and/or Packed Cell Volume (PCV) lower than normal level. Hair and blood were sampled in this research. Hair samples were taken from top tail area, while blood samples were taken from jugular vein. The result indicated that the average rate of Hb was 77 ± 0.7 mg/dl and PCV was 191 ± 1.3%. The average rate of Cu and Fe in plasma was 0.7 ± 0.16 and 67.8 ± 10.3 μg/ml, while in hair was 2.40 ± 0.511 and 315 ± 8.4 μg/g. The average rate of Cu in plasma was categorized as below normal, while the average rate of Fe in the range of marginal. Regression analysis showed that there was close correlation between Hb rates and PCV as well as the correlation of Hb rate and Cu rate in hair. However, there was no close correlation between Hb rate and Fe rate in hair. The conclusion of the research implied that the amount of PCV and Cu rate in hair relevant to the Hb rate in blood, and could subsequently predict anemia case occurring on female goats. </text>
