<text>The study was aimed to determine the description and classification of questions, distribution of questions raised by teachers, capability of teachers and the techniques, and the effect of the techniques on student achievement. The method was quantitative descriptive. The data was collected from 1 st April to 30th 2013 in 14 junior high schools in Banda Aceh throught pretest and posttest . Moreover, teachers were given sheets of observation of questioning teachnique, records of teaching learning activity, and questionare. Data was analysed descriptivelly and by using regretion-correlation analysis. The results showed that in terms of knowlegde aspect, only 25,53 % of the total teachers had skill to evolve student thinking skill, 2,16 % (cognitive aspect), and 4,32 % (scientific psychomotoric skill). Furthermore, it has been found that the questions were not spread evenly and only 53,33 % of  the total teachers had the capability in improving student thinking skill throught  questions. The techniques were probing (13,33 %) and redirecting (86,67 %). Moreover, the persentage of total teachers who have raised questions in good criteria  was 13,33  and only 1,48 % of the total teachers who had the technique contributing in improvement of student achievement (less correlation).</text>

The study aims at observing chances TENORM contamination at the factory working environment. The study was done by using Phytoremediation uses kale plants growing around an industrial environment. The analysis is done by calculating transfer factors from waste radioactive material into kale plants by comparing the results on the industry instead. The results showed that the value of measurements on samples of chopped watercress growing in the industry is higher than the count values in the samples grown in the industry instead. Increased count values above 100% when measured in the roots, stems and leaves. <text>Thermocline is often observed in the open ocean and can be as a seasonal phenomenon in the shallower part of the ocean or as a permanent one that is usually seen in the deeper part of the open ocean. There are different forcing and climatic parameters that affect the thermocline development in the PG fromwinter to summer. These include tide, river inflow, solar radiation, evaporation, northwesterly wind and water exchange with the Oman Sea. Thermocline development that evolves from east to west is studied using numerical simulation and comparing the results with some existing observations. Results show that as the northwesterly wind in winter, at summer transition period, weakens the fresher inflow from Oman Sea can penetrate much further into the PG and the lake of wind lowers mixing which with stronger solar radiation lead to the near surface thermocline formation and its development from winter to summer even over the northwestern part of the PG. The analysis results show that for the more realistic monthly averaged wind experiments the thermocline develops as is indicated by summer observations. The results indicate that weaker winds and particularly stronger solar radiation in summer months can lead to an intense thermocline in the whole of the PG including in the northern part and vice versa for winter</text>

<text>This paper presents the results obtained from the application of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to modelling the flow field of a Lapple cyclone and to optimizing the cyclone based upon its geometrical parameters. A pre-processor software GAMBIT was employed to set up the configuration, discretisation, and boundary conditions of the cyclone.  The characteristics of the cyclone being studied was 0.2 m in diameter, receiving a gas flow rate of 0.1 m3/s with a particle mass loading of 0.01 kg/m3.  A commercial CFD code FLUENT 6.2.16 was employed to simulate the flow field and particle dynamics in the cyclone. The objective of this research was to investigate the performance of a number of turbulence models on the prediction of the flow field, collection efficiency and pressure drop in the Lapple cyclone. A number of five turbulence models under Reynolds Averaged Navier Stokes (RANS) category, including Spallart-Allmaras, standard k-ε model, RNG k-ε model, standard k-ω model, and Reynolds Stress Model (RSM) were examined in the simulation of the flow field and particle dynamics inside the cyclone. A validation of all calculation was performed by comparing the predicted results in terms of axial and tangential velocities, efficiency and pressure drop against experimental data of a Lapple cyclone taken from literature. The results of the investigation show that out of five turbulence models being tested, the RSM presented the best predicted results. The predictions of axial and tangential velocities as well as cyclone efficiency by this model are in excellent agreement with the experimental data.  Although the pressure drop in the cyclone is under-predicted, the RSM predictions are far better than those of other model. Other turbulence models are over-predicted and under-predicted the axial and tangential velocity, respectively.  With respect to efficiency and pressure drop of the cyclone, other models are capable of following the trend of the experimental data but they failed to agree with the experimental values.  These results suggest that the RSM is the most suitable turbulence model to represent the flow field and particle dynamics inside a cyclone gas-solid separator.</text>

<text>Written exam is the format most often used to assess the extent of student learning achievement. The advantages of written exam are more easily prepared and relatively more economical when compared with clinical examination test. Block’s written exam, especially on disaster management block is considered important because it will illustrate the students' competence at the end of this special block. This study is a qualitative research, aimed to evaluate the quality of test on disaster management block.  The quality of the test were evaluated using qualitative method by deep interviewing 5 criteria of students.  The result was analized using Miles and Huberman method and the themes emerged were: 1) The test item in disaster management block were fairly easy 2) Test items were in accordance with the competence of undergraduate, 3) The test item were congruent with the content material taught in this block.  However, there were some weaknesses, including: 1) There were repeated items, 2)  There were format of question that complicates matters without a clear purpose, 3) There were ‘easy to predict’ item questions, 4) Lack of variation of format.  These problems might cause low discriminant items.  Recommendation including continues improvement of item developers’ capability by integrate it within curriculum for faculty development programs</text>

<text>Currently, several regional general hospitals in Banda Aceh now have excellent support facilities, one of which is a diagnostic X-ray machine. The performance of diagnostic X-ray machine should be checked to determine if the dose received does not harm a patient and produce a good image and provide diagnostic information in a timely and accurate, therefore there are necessary for quality control activities on the machine X-ray. Factors that affect the dosing and imaging results, among others, the amount of the provision of current and voltage. From the research shows that the value of the output voltage generated is not much different from the value of the input voltage with a percentage value below 5%. This value shows a good output machineX-ray because it is still under the maximum tolerance limit of 10%. So the overall results of observations on the machineX-ray is in hospital, the quality control measurements gave values still within safe limits. Then by giving a higher input voltage turns also affect the amount of energy produced, thus affecting also absorbed dose X-rays are produced.</text>

<text>ANALYSIS THE EFFECT OF GOVERNMENT DEVELOPMENT EXPENDITURE AND CREDIT EXPANSION ON GROSS REGIONAL DOMESTIC PRODUCT OF ACEH PROVINCEBy. Dian KeumalaSupervisors : Prof. Dr. Abubakar HamzahProf. Dr. Mohd Nur Syechalad, MSABSTRACTThe objective of this study is to examine the effect of government investment and credit expansion on GRDP. This study was using secondary data from the Aceh province, during 1984 to 2011. This study used multiple linear regression model, adapting from Gujarati (2009). After using econometric tools such as SPSS, It can be concluded that government development expenditure (APBN, APBD) has a negative significant effect on GRDP in Aceh province. The credit expansion has a positive significant effect on GRDP of Aceh province. The result of this study confirm that view of government development expenditure (APBN, APBD) in Aceh province has not been productive, but counter the widely held view the government expenditure is increasing GRDP. The credit expansion can boost the economy of Aceh on that model, probably because with the amount of money spent on the community it will increase government revenue, link taxes on economic activities. The government of Aceh province is expected to make good planning in the use of the budget so that government expenditure of Aceh province can be more efficient and effective to avoid unproductive budget. Keywords : Government Expenditure, Credit Expansion, GRDP of Aceh Province</text>
