<text>ABSTRAKKata Kunci: kesalahan, gaya kognitif, literasi matematika siswaPencapaian siswa Indonesia pada Programme for International Student Assesment (PISA) masih kurang memuaskan.

<text>Abstract - MODIS instruments have been designed to include special channels for fire monitoring by adding more spectral thermal band detector on them. The basic understanding of remote sensing fire detection should be kept in mind to be able to improve the algorithm for regional scale detection purposes. It still gives many chances for more exploration. This paper describe the principle of fire investigation applied on MODIS data. The main used algorithm in this research is contextual algorithm which has been developed by NASA scientist team. By varying applied threshold of T4 value in the range of 320-360K it shows that detected fire is significantly changed. While significant difference of detected FHS by changing ΔT threshold value is occurred in the range of 15-35K. Improve and adjustment of fire detection algorithm is needed to get the best accuracy result proper to local or regional conditions. MOD14 algorithm is applied threshold values of 325K for T4 and 20K for ΔT. Validation has been done from the algorithm result of MODIS dataset over Indonesia and South Africa. The accuracy of MODIS fire detection by MOD14 algorithm is 73.2% and 91.7% on MODIS data over Sumatra-Borneo and South Africa respectively.</text>

<text>This study determined if parental bonding styles affect the development of emotional intelligence of student nurses. A descriptive-correlational research design was used. The Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI) developed by Parker et.al. (1979) was utilized to determine the bonding styles of the respondents’ parents interpreted as Neglectful Parenting, Affectionless Control, Optimal Parenting and Affectionate Control. The Emotional Intelligence (EI) questionnaire adapted from Weisinger’s EQ test instrument (1998) was also employed to measure the respondents’ EI in terms of self-awareness, selfregulation, motivation, empathy and social skills. To analyze the data gathered, Frequency and Percentage distribution, Chi-Square Test, and Pearson Correlational Coefficient were utilized. Results show that majority of the respondents perceived their fathers to have Affectionless Control parenting which corresponds to high protection and low care and their mothers to have Neglectful Parenting which corresponds to low care and low protection. It was found out that the parental bonding style of the respondents’ fathers has an effect only to their level of motivation and empathy. On the other hand, theparental bonding style of the respondents’ mothers affects the respondents’ EI as to self-awareness, selfregulation, motivation, empathy and social skills. Despite poor parenting, most of the respondents have moderately high to high level of EI which implies that there could be other factors that may contribute tothe development of a student nurse’s EI other than parental bonding style</text>

<text>Ground anchors are commonly exposed to both acidic and alkaline ground conditions depending on ground mineral content, soil/rock type, age and groundwater flow path. It is essential to understand the limitations to ground anchorage materials especially when exposed to aggressive ground conditions whilst in a stressed state. This study discusses about ground anchors and analysis of the ground anchor failure trigger by corrosion, which analysed by using difference software in previous study (ABAQUS) compare with simulation model analysed by 2D Midas/GTS. Numerical techniques may be very efficient for investigating the load transfer of ground anchors. The results of anchor failures in numerical modeling are different from previous study (field test results), practiced by first cement crack and then wire break. Recommendations are given for applying FEM (finite element method) analysis to the design of anchored stabilization systems, and also for analyzing design variables, and design loads, to achieve more efficient and cost-effective anchored stabilization systems. Several models or simulations are presented to illustrate the displacement and the load that applied to the anchor which analyzed by Midas/GTS software. However, the condition that the numbers of occurrence correspond to load of failures at the time of damages is caused as the consequence of material and model deviation</text>
