Research has been conducted to study the response of corn doubles cobs plant growth at each dose of urea and compost. The research has been ongoing in 2011 in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University by using factorial randomized trial. Four doses of urea tested each of 0, 100, 150, and 200 kg urea per ha-1, and compost 0, and 10 t ha-1. The results showed that the interaction of urea and compost significant on the growth of maize doubles cobs. The growth of corn doubles cobs relatively better the dose of compost 10 ton ha-1 which has consistently increased until the urea dose of 150 kg ha-1.Abstrak. Penelitian telah dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mempelajari respon pertumbuhan tanaman jagung tongkol ganda pada setiap dosis urea dan pupuk kompos. Penelitian telah berlangsung tahun 2011 di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala dengan menggunakan metode percobaan acak kelompok faktorial. Block randomized design with factor type 2x4 and three repetition has use to analize the effect of soil moisture on those variety. A research which aims to determine the response of local meat chicken growth of protein supplementation with Isolation Grains Protein (IGB) and the difference in ration protein level has been conducted in the Laboratory of Experimental Farm, Animal Husbandry Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University-Darussalam, Banda Aceh for 90 days. This study used a completely randomized design factorial with 2 factors, consisting of factors namely male gender (JJ) and female (JB) and the ration is a combination of factors and levels IGB in the ration, ie: treatment A: 17% protein and 0.4% IGB; treatment B 19% protein and 0.6% IGB and treatment C 21% protein and 0.8% IGB. Each combination consisted of 4 replications and each replication consists of 5 chickens. Parameters observed in the study were weight gain, achievement of final weight, consumption, conversion and efficiency of ration. DOC used a derivative result of selection of local meat chicken which are in the process of selection. Data acquired and processed by ANOVA.The results showed that supplementation of IGB and ration protein level difference was significantly effect (P <0.01) on weight gain, final weight, rate of consumption, conversion efficiency of rations and rations, but there is no interaction effect between sex and ration factors . The highest weight gain obtained in the male local chicken achieved by feeding a ration B (93.23 grams), while the hen rations achieved by providing treatment C (63.86 grams / week). The highest final body weight of male chicken on treatment B (1491.5 gram/90 days) and hens in treatment C (1061.5 gram/90 days). However, the highest ration consumption in both male and female local chickens obtained from the ration A. Feed conversion value and the best feed efficiency obtained in treatment B for the treatment of male and C for female chicken. The study concluded that there were different responses between male and female local chickens of the use of IGB in the rations. In male local chicken, IGB is more effective when added in the ration with a protein level of 19% whereas in female at the protein level of 21%. Faktor-faktor yang diteltiti adalah dosis kompos kirinyuh yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu 10, 20 dan 30 ton/ha dan dosis pupuk NPK yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu 300, 400, 500 dan 600 kg/ha. Peubah yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman pada umur 15, 30 dan 45 Hari Setelah Tanam (HST), jumlah umbi per rumpun, bobot basah umbi per rumpun, bobot kering umbi per rumpun dan potensi hasil (ton/ha) pada umur 60 HST. Pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah terbaik dijumpai pada perlakuan pemberian pupuk kompos kirinyuh dengan dosis 10 ton/ha dan pupuk NPK dengan dosis 300 kg/ha. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan produksi 30 varietas padi lokal Aceh terhadap sistem budidaya padi aerob dengan menggunakan pendekatan secara intermitten selama fase pertumbuhan vegetatif. Respon pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman padi dipelajari dengan mengamati karakter morfo-agronomis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa varietas sangat mempengaruhi tinggi tanaman. Tinggi tanaman padi varietas lokal ternyata sangat bervariasi antar satu varietas dengan varietas lainnya. Varietas Pade Pangku, Sikuneng, Rom Mokot, Sepuluo, Pade Mas, dan Sigupai merupakan kelompok varietas yang paling tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan juga bahwa varietas sangat mempengaruhi jumlah anakan varietas padi lokal Aceh. Varietas Pandrah, Asi Puteh, Sigudang, Bo Santeut, Pade Mirah, Pade P66,  Sanbei, Aweuh, Acong, Bo 100, Salah Mayang Ru, dan Sipirok merupakan varietas-varietas yang memiliki jumlah anakan yang tinggi. Sedangkan tanaman yang paling cepat berbunga terdapat pada varietas Pade P66, Sigudang, dan Pade Das. Sementara varietas yang paling lama mengeluarkan bunga terdapat pada varietas Rangkop Mirah. Varietas berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap hasil tanaman per pot. Perbedaan varietas menghasilkan berat gabah per pot yang sangat bervariasi. Hasil tanaman per pot terberat dijumpai pada varietas Pade Manggeng, Aweuh, Sigupai, Bo Santeut, Sikuneng, dan Pade Mas. The purpose of this research is to study responds of 30 variety of Acehnese local rice to aerobic cultivation method with intermitten approach during vegetative phase of rice plant. Morpho-agronomic characters were observed to evaluate the responds of the varieties. Results of study showed that variety was significantly affected plant height, and indicated wide variation among varieties for the plant height. Pade Pangku, Sikuneng, Rom Mokot, Sepuluo, Pade Mas, and Sigupai were the varieties that have taller plant height than others. The factor of variety also significantly affected number of tillers. Variety of Pandrah, Asi Puteh, Sigudang, Bo Santeut, Pade Mirah, Pade P66,  Sanbei, Aweuh, Acong, Bo 100, Salah Mayang Ru, and Sipirok were the varieties that have bigger number of tillers. Some varieties, PadeP66, Sigudang, and Pade Das produced flower earlier than others. Rangkop Mirah variety was the longest time to initiate it flower. We also found that variety significantly affected yield of rice per pot. Pade Manggeng, Aweuh, Sigupai, Bo Santeut, Sikuneng, and Pade Mas were the varieties that have higher yield of rice per pot compared than others. When the varieties cultivated in aerobic condition, the responds of Acehnese local variety was better than national superior variety. The objective of this study was to examine the growth responses of green house-grown soy bean colonization by AMF. The experiment was conducted at Cikabayan experimental of Bogor Agricultural University from August 2003 to February 2004. Creator An entity primarily responsible for making the resource Gilang Ramadhan Description An account of the resource Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis dan konsentrasi gula, serta interaksi antara jenis dengan beberapa taraf konsentrasi gula dalam menginduksi embrio somatik secara in vitro. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial 3x4 yang terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu faktor pertama adalah jenis gula (G) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yakni glukosa (G1), sukrosa (G2), maltosa (G3) dan faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi gula (K) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yakni 10 g/L (K1), 20 g/L (K2), 30 g/L (K3), dan 40 g/L (K4). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji ANOVA dan uji perbandingan rata-rata perlakuan menggunakan uji DNMRT pada level 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis gula sukrosa memiliki rerata tertinggi terhadap pertumbuhan embrio somatik petala kakao. Konsentrasi gula 40 g/L terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan embrio somatik petala kakao. Kombinasi terbaik pada pertumbuhan embrio somatik terdapat pada jenis gula sukrosa dengan konsentrasi 40 g/L.
