Tomat sebagai komoditas hortikultura pada umumnya memiliki sifat mudah rusak sehingga penanganan pascapanen buah tomatyang tidak tepat dapat mengakibatkan penurunan mutu buah. Edible coating merupakan suatu metode yang digunakan untuk memperpanjang umur simpan dan mempertahankan mutu dari buah-buahan pada suhu ruang. Edible coating adalah lapisan tipis yang bertujuan untuk memberikan penahanan yang selektif terhadap perpindahan massa dan atau sebagai pembawa aditif serta untuk meningkatkan penanganan suatu makanan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi dan lama perendaman ekstrak lidah buaya terhadap umur simpan buah tomat serta mengetahui perlakuan terbaik antara tingkat konsentrasi dan lama perendaman terhadap umur simpan buah tomat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 2 faktor yaitu perlakuan konsentrasi (K) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf antara lain 100% ekstrak lidah buaya, 75% ekstrak lidah buaya + 25% air, 50% ekstrak lidah buaya + 50% air, dan 25% ekstrak lidah buaya + 75% air dan lama perendaman (P) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf antara lain 15 menit, 30 menit dan 45 menit. Pengamatan dilakukan pada 0, 4, 8, 12, dan 16 hari setelah perlakuan. Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Analisa keragaman hasil dilakukan dengan analisa ANOVA, dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT 5% untuk melihat perbedaan antar perlakuan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah umur simpan buah tomat berpengaruh terhadap susut bobot, tingkat keasaman (pH), kandungan vitamin A dan vitamin C serta organoleptik pada warna dan tekstur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat gambaran karakteristik ibu dengan penggunaan alat kontrasepsi ibu di Poliklinik KB BLUD Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Banda Aceh Tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian ini adalah descriptif eksplorative dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasinya adalah ibu akseptor KB. Metode pengambilan data adalah total sampling sebanyak 52 sampel. Alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner dari data skunder status pasien.. Pengumpulan data dilakukan tanggal 05 Juli sampai 10 Juli 2013 di Poliklinik KB Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Banda Aceh. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif eksploratif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel nonprobaliti sampling. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa kesadaran diri terhadap kesehatan berada pada kategori tidak baik (76,1%), aktivitas fisik/olahraga yang tidak teratur berada dalam kategori tidak baik (51,2%), nutris berada pada kategori tidak baik (55,6%), hubungan interpersonal berada pada kategori sedang (51,2%), perkembangan spiritual berada pada kategori baik (55,6%)., dan manajemen stres, tidak bisa mengelola stres berada pada kategori tidak baik (58,3%). Metode yang digunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penelitin lapangan di Kabupaten Nagan Raya, pengolahan data dengan menggunakan teknik statistik sederhana yaitu rumus rata-rata dan regresi linear sederhana serta menguji hipotesis dengan uji t. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan rata-rata tingkat kesejahteraan karyawan adalah 45.7 dan tergolong tinggi, rata-rata tingkat produktivitas karyawan adalah 76.0 dan tergolong tinggi. Untuk mengetahui koefesien regresi dengan menggunakan regresi sederhana yaitu , besarnya pengaruh antara variabel independen kesejahteraam (x) terhadap variabel dependen produktivitas kerja (Y). Untuk mengetahui besarnya korelasi antara variabel bebas yaitu kesejahteraan terhadap variabel terikat yaitu produktivitas, dengan determinasi r2 = 0.26 dengan koefesien korelasi r= 0.51 ini menunjukkan korelasi sebesar 51 % pengaruh produktivitas kerja dipengaruhi oleh besarnya kesejahteraan. The experiment was arranged ina completely randomized design (CRD), factorial 5 x 4 with 3 replications. Potassium application was consisted of 5 levels: 0 kg ha-1, 25 kg ha-1, 50 kg ha-1,  75 kg ha-1, and 100 kg ha-1. Variety was consisted of  4 levels :  Naga Umbang, Jerapah, Gajah  and  Bison. Variables observed were yield, seed vigor, and seed viability. Results showed that potassium did not exert significant effects on all variables observed, except  on seed vigor and viability.  Varieties significantly affected yield, where Bison provided the best dried pod weight and Jerapah gave the best seed vigor and viability.
