Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan pengaruh konsentrasi humektan terhadap stabilitas gel ekstrak etanol daun jambu biji. Ekstrak etanol daun jambu biji 5% diformulasikan dalam bentuk gel dengan perbandingan konsentrasi humektan (gliserin dan propilenglikol) 10%:5% (FI), 12%:6% (FII), 14%:7% (FIII) dan 16%:8% (FIV). Stabilitas sifat fisik gel diuji selama 4 minggu pada suhu kamar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa FI dan FIV lebih stabil dibandingkan dengan FII dan III ditinjau dari organoleptik dan homogenitas. Peningkatan konsentrasi humektan FI, FII, dan FIII menurunkan viskositas kecuali pada FIV yang mengalami peningkatan viskositas. Nilai pH keempat formula berada pada rentang pH 6-7. Nilai rata-rata uji daya sebar keempat formula berada pada nilai ? 5 cm. Hasil analisa dengan ANOVA dan uji LSD menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan konsentrasi humektan memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap daya sebar pada FI dengan FII, FI dengan FIII serta FII dengan FIV berbeda signifikan dengan nilai signifikan yaitu 0,007; 0,045 dan 0,044.Kata kunci: gel, humektan, stabilitas sifat fisik, viskositas, daya sebarABSTRACTThe ethanol extract of guava leaves (Psidium guajava Linn) has the potential to accelerate the wound healing process. This study aims to determine the effect of humectant concentration of the ethanol extract gel stability of guava leaves. The ethanol extract of guava leaves 5% formulated in the form of a gel with concentrations of glycerin humectant and propilenglikol with a ratio 10%:5% (FI), 12%:6% (FII), 14%:7% (FIII) and 16%:8% (FIV). The stability of the physical properties of the gel was tested for 4 weeks at room temperature. The results obtained showed that the FI and FIV were more stable than the FII and III in terms of organoleptic and homogeneity. Increasing the humectant concentration of FI, FII, and FIII reducing their viscosity except on FIV increasing viscosity. PH values of the of formulas were the range of pH 6-7. The average value of the spreadability of tested formulas was values ? 5 cm. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala dari September 2013 sampai Januari 2014. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial yang melibatkan 9 taraf padi hasil persilangan dan terdiri atas 3 ulangan sehingga terdapat 27 satuan percobaan. Benih yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain : 3 varietas lokal yaitu Si Puteh, Cantek Manis dan USK V, 5 varietas introduksi yaitu Wangzhan 1, Swarna (sub 1) dan Yinzhan 1 serta satu galur yaitu CMS yang telah disilangkan sehingga menghasilkan hasil persilangan turunan CMS/Luohui 1, CMS/IRBB27,Wangzhan 1/Swarna (sub 1), Wangzhan 1/USK V, 11S2 (Si Puteh/Yinzhan 1), 11S3 (Si Puteh/Yinzhan 1), 11S6 (Si Puteh/Yinzhan 1), 11C3 (Cantek Manis/Yinzhan 1) dan 11C4 (Cantek Manis/Yinzhan 1). Pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, umur berbunga, umur panen, panjang malai, jumlah gabah bernas per rumpun, jumlah gabah hampa per rumpun, persentase gabah bernas per rumpun, persentase gabah hampa per rumpun, berat 1000 butir gabah dan berat gabah kering per pot. Hasil persilangan beberapa varietas dan galur padi introduksi dan padi Indonesia menunjukkan bahwa faktor hasil persilangan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 3, 4, 5, 6 dan 7 MST, jumlah anakan tanaman padi umur 3, 4, 5, 6 dan 7 MST, umur berbunga, umur panen, rata-rata panjang malai, persentase gabah bernas, persentase gabah hampa, rata-rata berat 1000 butir gabah dan rata-rata berat gabah kering per pot. With the increasing human population, especially in Indonesia, resulting in increasing human needs of various sectors, particularly in the construction sector. In the development activities required a lot of materials-minerals, such as sandstone, limestone, serpentinite rock which serves for a variety of needs in development activities. In District Indrapuri (Aceh Besar Regency), Tangse (Pidie Regency), and Beutong (Nagan Raya Regency) finding of the serpentinite rock is abundance. Meanwhile, in line with the rapid physical development in Aceh and its surroundings, then the needs of rock as building materials will increase as well. Research done by physical properties (specific gravity, absorption, porosity), and mechanical properties (testing compressive strength, wear/abrassion) of serpentinite rock to determine its quality as a building material. The results show that the serpentinite rock contained in District Indrapuri, Tangse, and Beutong for the building according SII 0378-80 is qualified for the foundation, curb stones, and ornamental stones or paste stones. Subjekpenelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-1 SMP Negeri 1 Sawang sebanyak 21 orang, terdiriatas 10 orang laki-laki dan 11 orang perempuan. Efektifitas penerapan tutor sebayaditinjau dari 4 (empat) aspek kajian yang meliputi: (1) ketuntasan belajar, (2) aktivitasguru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, (3) aktivitas siswa, dan (4) respon siswa terhadappembelajaran. Suatu pembelajaran dikatakan efektif apabila keempat hal ini terpenuhiatau paling sedikit tiga aspek terpenuhi dengan syarat aspek ketuntasan belajarterpenuhi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru menerapkan tutor sebayadalam pembelajaran PKn adalah baik dan efektif, aktivitas siswa dalam mengikutipembelajaran PKn dengan tutor sebaya adalah aktif dan efektif, hasil belajar siswamencapai ketuntasan belajar klasikal dengan persentase ketuntasan 85,71% dan terjadipeningkatan prestasi belajar siswa, dan respon siswa terhadap penerapan tutor sebayadalam pembelajaran PKn adalah positif dan efektif.
