The results indicated that at sub-critical conditions, where the ion product of water went through a maximum, the formation of organic acids was favorable. The presence of oxidant favored formation of acetic and formic acid. Other organic acids of significant amount were propionic, succinic and lactic acids. Depending on the type of wastes, formation of other organic acids was also possible. Knowing the organic acids obtained by hydrolysis and oxidation in sub-critical water of various wastes are useful in designing of applicable waste treatment process, complete degradation of organic wastes into volatile carbon and water, and also on the viewpoint of resource recovery. The production of lactic acid was discussed as well. The results indicated that temperature of 573 K, with the absence of oxidant, yield of lactic acid from fish waste was higher than sewage sludge. The maximum yield of total amino acids (137 mg/g-dry fish) from waste fish entrails was obtained at subcritical condition (T = 523 K, P = 4 MPa) at reaction time of 60 min by using the batch reactor. Gedung Mess Pemerintah KotaSabang berlantai 10 pada awalnya didesain menggunakan struktur betonbertulang. Redesain berupa penggunaan rangka baja sebagai pengganti strukturutama merupakan pilihan yang tepat guna mengatasi permasalahan keterbatasanwaktu dan anggaran tersebut. Standar perencanaan ini berpedoman pada metodeLRFD yang tertuang dalam SNI 03-1729-2002 (Tata Cara Perencanaan StrukturBaja untuk Bangunan Gedung). Tujuan utama dari redesain Gedung MessPemerintah Kota Sabang menggunakan struktur baja ini adalah untukmengoptimalkan anggaran sesuai dengan penyelesaian pekerjaan untuk setiaptahunnya. Tahapan analisis dan perhitungan yang dilakukan adalah menentukanserta mengontrol dimensi elemen struktur yang digunakan, menentukanpemotongan atau penyambungan batang baja yang paling optimal sertamenghitung sambungan-sambungan antar elemen struktur. Setelah itu diperolehkeseluruhan berat struktur redesain mencakup berat sendiri kolom, balok dan pelatserta elemen penyambung sebesar 3006,673 ton. Hasil tersebut menunjukkanpenurunan berat struktur utama dari struktur desain awal sebesar 56,485%.Selanjutnya dilakukan estimasi biaya standar struktur gedung bertingkat sesuaiketentuan Pedoman Teknis Pembiayaan Pembangunan Bangunan Gedung Negaradan membandingkannya dengan estimasi biaya dari struktur redesain denganmaterial baja. Hasil yang diperoleh dari estimasi biaya standar struktur gedungbertingkat sebesar Rp. 47.591.126.508,- sementara estimasi biaya strukturredesain dengan baja sebesar Rp. 30.768.549.590,- sehingga biaya standar untukstruktur gedung bertingkat bisa tereduksi sebesar 35,348% . Penutupan Kebun Binatang tersebut menyebabkan satwa Aceh kehilangan tempat perlindungan dan membuat masyarakat Aceh kehilangan satu-satunya tempat rekreasi Kebun Binatang, sehingga hal ini membuat banyak masyarakat Aceh harus keluar ke tempat lain untuk menikmati sarana rekreasi Kebun Binatang.Beranjak dari keprihatinan terhadap hal tersebut maka diperlukan adanya kegiatan Redesain atau mendesain ulang Kebun Binatang Jantho tersebut agar lebuh baik dari sebelumnya. Sebagai sebuah tempat rekreasi, sudah sepantasnya Kebun Binatang Jantho di bangun serekreatif mungkin serta dilengkapi dengan sarana-sarana pendukungnya agar para pengunjung dapat menikmati rekreasi di Kebun Binatang tersebut dengan menyenangkan.Oleh sebab itu konsep yang dihadirkan pada rancangan Kebun Binatang ini adalah konsep rekreatif. Konsep rekreatif yang diterapkan mencoba menghadirkan segala unsur-unsur rekreasi yang dapat membuat pengunjung menjadi terhibur saat berada di dalamnya. Pada bangunan ini, terdapat fasilitas pengelola, fasilitas edukasi, fasilitas rekreasi dan hiburan, serta fasilitas penunjang. Fasilitas-fasilitas ini disediakan sebagai jawaban dan perwujudan dari fasilitas yang sebelumnya tidak ada menjadi ada.Kebun Binatang ini berlokasi di lokasi Kebun Binatang sebelumnya yaitu di jalan Kota Jantho tepatnya di jalan Prof Madjid Ibrahim.
