<text>Abstract: This paper report column experimental that loaded by axial constant and shear force. Axial constant load is 459,2 kN equal 0,4 Po; where Po is axial nominal capacity of reinforced column with size is 200 x 200 mm2, concrete compression strength (f’c) = 24 MPa, using 12 bars longitudinal steel D 11,6 (fy= 356,5 MPa) and shear ties from plain bar 5,6 mm with fy = 611,3 MPa. This research test applied to four experimental column, that shear reinforcement varied to: normal stirup, S0 ( ); three arm rein- forcement, S1 (    ); crosties, S2 (    ) and diamond, S3 (    ). Experimental column length is L= 580 mm with end- end of column condition is assumed as fix- hinge (k= 1,52). When tested, the botton end rigidly to strong floor and on the top end is given bearing that is connected to the load cell so that the vertical compressive axial load given perpendicular to the contact area on the top surface of the column. Bearing acts as roller which does not restrain the upper end of the column to move when lateral loads are given from the horizontal load cell. The process begins with given axial load through the vertical load cell to achieve a constant axial load and continue with shear force of horizontal load cell which given slowly through the column specimen was destroyed. The results showed that the addition of extra crossties rein- forcement increase stiffness of column.Based on calculations of experimental datas of the column deflec- tion stiffness that occurs when a given column shear load was V = 90 kN obtained relative stiffness ratio of column values to the whole cross-section (EI0) amounted to 0.783; 0.905; 0.896 and 0.869 respectively for columns with normal stirrup (S0), cross bar three arms (S1), crosties (S2) and diamond (S3).Keywords : reinforced concrete columns, supplemental ties, axial compression, shear force, column rigidity index.

<text>In the practice of teaching in the field, many EFL students face difficulties in understanding and applying L2 grammatical rules. For this reason, this study aims to analyze the spoken grammatical errors made by the first year students of SMAN 3 Banda Aceh. This study focused on the analysis of the grammatical error types in terms of communicative effect taxonomy, namely global error and local error. The research method used in this study was descriptive quantitative research. To collectthe data, the researcher used oral test. The result shows that students produced missing, wrong, or misplaced sentence connectors (96.29 %) and wrong order of major constituents (3.70 %) of global error, and verb inflection (60.29 %), auxiliary(10.77 %), prepositon (8.08 %), article and noun inflection (6.39 %), misordering (5.72 %), and pronoun (2.35 %) of local error. The most dominant error was local error (91.66 %). It is highly recommended that EFL teachers should be more aware ofmost frequent errors made by the students and use more effective techniques and strategies in teaching grammar. To conclude, the grammatical errors of students' spoken English were still mainly influenced by interlingual and intralingual transfer.</text>
