                <text>In order to fulfill the cocoa revitalization program, relatively large quantities of seedling are needed. Tissue culture is one of the alternative techniques for vegetative propagation that produce the large numbers of seedlings and uniform in a relatively short time, and also does not depend on the season. A preliminary study to induce callus and embryo somatic cocoa clones adaptive in Aceh has been carried out using immature flower parts of cocoa. The result showed that picloram was able to produce somatic embryos of staminode of various explants. Callus growth began to appear after two weeks on staminode, and then were subcultured into the same medium to produce secondary somatic embryos. </text>

                <text>This research was aimed to study types of host plants and sources of inoculum on mycorrhizal infectiveness. The study was conducted at Screenhouse and Soil Chemistry Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty, Unsyiah, and Soil Biology Laboratory of  Agriculture Faculty, USU from July 2011 to November 2011. This research used a randomized complete block design (RCBD) factorial of two factors with three replications. Factors studied were several types of host plants and some types of sources of inoculum. Host factors consisted of A1 = kudzu, A2 = soybean, A3 = corn and factors source of inoculum consisted of B1 = spore from rhizosfer kudju, B2 = r spores from soybean, B3 = spores from corn.  Variables observed were degree of mycorrhizal infection.  Results showed that there was an interaction between host plant species and inoculums sources of mycorrhizal infectivity. The best infectivity was a combination of host plant kudzu and source of spore from kudzu.</text>

Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana peran guru IPS dalam memotivasi belajar siswa SD Gugus Lampeuneurut Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SD mata pelajaran IPS di Gugus Lampeuneurut Kabupaten Aceh Besar yang terdiri dari 5 SD berjumlah 12 orang guru. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling yaitu seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Teknik pengumpulan terdiri dari angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru ada menggunakan RPP pada saat mengajar IPS. Guru ada memberi hukuman jika anak tidak belajar. Guru sering menggunakan alat peraga/media supaya siswa termotivasi untuk belajar. Kesimpulan yaitu peran guru dalam memotivasi belajar siswa yaitu cara guru memotivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran, guru memberikan tujuan belajar kepada siswa, guru menggunakan metode yang bervariasi supaya siswa termotivasi dalam pembelajaran IPS, untuk menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa, guru pernah mendekati atau memberi sentuhan kepada siswa, membantu kesulitan siswa dalam belajar dengan cara pemberian tugas, memberi pujian agar siswa ingin belajar IPS, mengajak siswa yang mendapatkan nilai kurang dengan melakukan remedial.</text>

                <text>Relationship Between Two Sortation Method with Peanut Seed (Arachis hypogaea L.)  Viability and Vigor and Its Application for Salinity Resistance Approximation Sabaruddin Zakaria dan Cut Meutia Fitriani ABSTRACT The research has been made to explain the relationship between two-sortation methods with peanut seed (Arachis hypogaea, L.) viability and vigor and its application for salinity resistance appraisal. Completely Randomized Design with Factorial type 3 x 3 and 3 repetitions was used to analyze the effect of sortation method. The parameters used in this research were seed growth potential, germination ability, growth velocity and T50. The second research for salinity resistance was using Completely Randomized Design with Factorial type 2x4 and 3 repetitions. The parameters used in this research were seed vigor, growth velocity and T50. The research results showed that sortation method did not have significant difference on the peanut seed viability. Seed sortation by using 1.5 % NaCl solution could be used as one alternative for sortation of peanut seed. However, the sortation by using 3.0 % NaCl solution caused negative effect on the viability and vigor of peanut seed. Salinity factors gave high significant difference on the viability of seed. The highest seed viability was found without NaCl treatment (control). Relationship between salinity and seed viability was linear negative, meanings that higher salinity cause lower seed viability.   </text>

Pendekatan PMR merupakan konsep belajar yang membantu gurumengaitkan materi yang diajarkan dengan situasi dunia nyata siswa. Permasalahandalam penelitian ini adalah apakah pembelajaran dengan pendekatan PMR dapatmencapai ketuntasan belajar siswa pada materi himpunan di kelas VII SMP Negeri 8Banda Aceh?. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ekperiment siswa dengan desain pre-testdan pos-test group, penelitiannya adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Populasi dalampenelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VII SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh, sedangkan sampeldalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-7 SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh sebanyak28 siswa. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan soal pre-tes dan pos-test,observasi kemmpuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, observas aktivitas siswa danangket respon siswa dan wawancara. Data yang tercantum dalam penelitian inidiperoleh dari hasil jawaban siswa terhadap soal yang diberikan yang berbentukessay. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik uji-t pada tarafsignifikan ? = 0,05, dari sehingga data dianalisis dengan statistik uji nonparametrikUji Wilcoxon uju pringkat. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh thitung = 112 dan ttabel =130 atau  &gt; (1-)(k-1), ini menunjukkan tolak H0 dan akibatnya adalah terimaH1. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan pendekatan matematikarealistik PMR sudah mencapai ketuntasan belajar kemampuan matematika siswapada materi himpunan di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Banda Aceh.</text>

                <text>MOL (Local Microorganism) is one of the key factors to determine the success in manufacturing of organic fertilizer. MOL can fully substitute EM4 (Effective Microorganism) widely being sold in market, as starter to accelerate composting process. The MOL in the experiment was produced from agricultural waste likes in consumable fruits. The experiment was aimed to investigate a better fermentation method in the production of MOL. A Split Plot Design with fermentation methods (with and without applying of air channel) as main plot and length of fermentation (0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 weeks) as sub-plot were applied to produce MOL, with 2 replications. With air channel, the gas produced from the fermentation process could be channeled out of the fermentation container. Analysis of MOL quality included total microorganisms (TCC), temperature, pH, and color. In general, result showed that the MOLs produced from fermentations without air channel were better than the ones produced from with air channel. The highest amount of TCC in MOL was produced from 3 weeks fermentation without air channel.</text>

Diantara berbagai usaha yang ada, usaha makanan menjadi salah satu usaha yang dilirik banyak pengusaha. Untuk memulai suatu usaha, seorang wirausahawan perlu mengidentifikasi serta mengevaluasi peluang pasar yang ada. Banyak faktor yang harus diperhatikan dalam memulai sebuah usaha baru yaitu faktor dari dalam usaha atau faktor internal dan faktor dari luar usaha atau faktor eksternal. Faktor internal terdiri dari modal, cita rasa, harga jual, ketersedian bahanbaku, lokasi usaha, pelayanan, kualitas dan promosi. Faktor eksternal terdiri dari faktor pasar, pemasok, teknologi, inovasi baru, berubahnya selera konsumen, dan pesaing. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi serta mengevaluasi peluang pasar usaha kentang spiral, untuk mengetahui faktor internal daneksternalapasaja yang mempengaruhiusahakentang spiral, dan mengetahui bagaimana peluang pasar usaha kentang spiral berdasarkan analisis SAP dan ETOP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan teknik pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder. Pada metode ini digunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Oppurtunity, Threat). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa wirausahawan mengidentifikasi peluang pasar usaha melalui ide wirausahawan, perilaku dan keputusan pembelian konsumen, dan mengidentifikasi persaingan. Berdasarkan analisis SAP, usaha kentang spiral berada pada posisi usaha aman dan berdasarkan analisis ETOP, usaha kentang spiral berada pada posisi usaha spekulatif. Posisi ini menunjukkan bahwa usaha kentang spiral memiliki peluang sukses yang tinggi dan kegagalan usaha yang tinggi juga. Hal ini disebabkan karena wirausahawan melakukan spekulasi terhadap usahanya sehingga usaha tersebut belum memiliki hasil yang pasti di masa depan. Ancaman terbesar dalam usaha kentang spiral adalah berubahnya selera konsumen. Among various businesses, food business becomes one of businesses that interest many entrepreneurs. To start a business, an entrepreneur needs to identify and to evaluate the market opportunities. Many factors must be considered in starting a new business, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors consist of capital, cuisine, price, the availability of raw materials, the location of business, service, quality and promotion. External factors consist of market factors, suppliers, technology, new innovation, the change of consumer taste, and competitors. The aims of this study are to identify and evaluate the market opportunity of spiral potato business, to determine the internal and external factors that influence spiral potato business, and to know how the market opportunity of spiral potato business is based on the analysis of SAP and ETOP. The method of study used was a survey method, with primary and secondary data collection techniques. This method uses descriptive analysis and SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Oppurtunity, Threat) analysis. This study shows that the entrepreneurs identify the market opportunity of their businesses through business entrepreneur idea, the behavior and purchasing decision of consumers, and identifying the competition. Based on the analysis of SAP, spiral potato business is in a safe business position and based on the analysis of ETOP, spiral potato business is in a speculative business position.
