This equipment functions as a medium size rechargeable battery that is needed to move culinary merchants and coastal fishermen living in area which is not supplied by electrical networks. The equipment consists of solar module mounted onto portable mechanical construction, a 12-V 7.5-Ah lead acid battery and charge controller. Solar module charges the battery through charge controller and then the battery can be discharged to power on electric lamps for lightening culinary wagon or fisherman’s boat at night. Charge controller charges the battery with float charging which is implemented by maintaining 13.5 Volt between battery terminals and limiting the charging current to 1.5 Amperes. Charge controller circuit is based on adjustable linear voltage regulator LM338. The battery is of sealed lead acid type. This type of battery is maintenance free and more hygiene than other types of lead acid battery. The parameters optimized were PLBs size, preculture concentration, preculture duration, PVS2 incubation temperature and duration. The optimized parameters obtained were 3-4mm of PLBs precultured in 0.2M sucrose for 1 day, treated with a mixture of 2M glycerol and 0.4M sucrose supplemented with half strength liquid MS media at 25°C for 20 minutes and subsequently dehydrated with plant vitrification solution 2 (PVS2) at 0°C for 20 minutes prior storage in liquid nitrogen. Following rapid warming in a water bath at 40°C for 90 seconds, PLBs were washed with a half strength liquid MS media supplemented with 1.2M sucrose. Subsequently, PLBs were cultured on half strength semi-solid MS media supplemented with 2% (w/v) sucrose in the absence of growth regulator. The optimized vitrification method was successful in preserving this orchid as it produced growth recovery in cryopreserved PLBs up to 40%. Ascorbic acid was added in the media to evaluate the regeneration process of cryopreserved PLBs. However, growth recovery rate was only 10% at 0.6mM ascorbic acid. RAPD analysis using 6 primers indicated that cryopreserved and non-cryopreserved PLBs from vitrification method were genetically faithful to the mother plant. However, 3 primers showed polymorphism and 1 primers indicated partial polymorphism between the cryopreserved and non-cryopreserved PLBs in comparative to the mother plant. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XI IPA3 dan kelas XI IPA5 yang dipilih secara purposive samplingdengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 28 siswa untuk masing-masing kelas. Kelas XI IPA5sebagai kelas kontrol sedangkan kelas XI IPA3 sebagai kelas eksperimen.Pertimbangan pemilihan kelas ini berdasarkan hasil uji kemampuan siswa yang tidak berbeda, sertadiajar oleh guru kimia yang sama. Hasil belajar siswa diukur menggunakan soal, sedangkan motivasi belajar siswa diukur menggunakan angket. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa kelas kontrol. Motivasi belajar siswa kelas eksperimen rata-rata sebesar 88,1 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol 76,3. Hasil belajar rata-rata siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 91,6 dengan persentase ketuntasan secara umum96,4%. Sedangkan hasil belajar rata-rata siswa pada kelas kontrol adalah 78,8 dengan persentase ketuntasan secara umum 78,6%. Terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara motivasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa baik pada kelas eksperimen maupun kelas kontrol. Hubungan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen di dapat r sebesar 0,753(tergolong cukup). Sedangkan hubungan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar kelas kontrol di dapat r sebesar 0,326(tergolong rendah). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalahterdapat perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa setelah pembelajaran kimia dengan metode eksperimen titrasi asam basa berbasis kontekstual. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya masih banyak anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum yang diproses secara formal layaknya orang dewasa. Penulisan skripsi ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peran penyidik dalam pelaksanaan diversi terhadap anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum di Polresta Medan, untuk menjelaskan dampak yang timbul bila tidak dilakukan diversi terhadap anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum di Polresta Medan dan upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan yang timbul di dalam pelaksanaan diversi terhadap anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum di Polresta Medan. Penelitian dalam skripsi ini menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis sosiologis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Yang dimaksud pendekatan penelitian secara kualitatif adalah prosedur penelitian yang menggunakan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang dan perilaku objek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa baru unit PPA yang melaksanakan diversi di Polresta Medan menurut TR/1124/XI/2006 tentang pelaksanaan diversi dan restorative justice dalam penanganan anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum yang berpedoman kepada kewenangan diskresi kepolisian menurut pasal 18 Undang-Undang Nomor 2 Tahun 2002 tentang Kepolisian di Polresta Medan. Akibatnya banyak anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum yang diproses oleh Unit selain PPA diproses secara formal layaknya orang dewasa. Kemudian juga kerap timbul intimidasi agar anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum mengakui perbuatan yang belum tentu dilakukannya. Banyak dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan apabila anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum tidak mendapat kesempatan diversi karena penjara seharusnya adalah upaya terakhir dalam penyelesaian perkara anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum. Belum ada upaya yang maksimal dari Polresta Medan untuk mengatasi hambatan dalam pelaksanaan diversi. Disarankan kepada Polresta Medan agar melakukan pelatihan kepada para penyidik mengenai tata cara pelaksanaan diversi agar dalam penanganan kasus anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum ke depannya tidak menimbulkan dampak yang negatif baik kepada anak maupun kepada korban.
